The owner of the shop is so amazing. I wish I wasn’t on the complete opposite coast. I love how happy she looked for each person who was finally feeling what a properly fitted bra should feel like. You can tell she really is passionate about her career.

One of my biggest body insecurities with bras is the back rolls I get. And seeing all of y’all not stress about it and even the ‘smallest’ of the bunch still have bumps and rolls on the back, It makes me feel so much better about myself and that I’m not alone.
it is actually sad, because it is a common insecurity, and no one ever say stuff like: it is normal part of one's body, it is your body adapting for your cloth and nothing more :(
Since having kids my skin is looser and the back rolls are one of my biggest insecurities.
Absolutely, I see it multiple times daily at my bra-fitting job! But we are made of tissue, which is squishy. Look at the backs of Olympic athletes, even their mostly-muscle bodies get imprints from the edges of elastic! If you don't see imprints in a bra photo, either the company intentionally put the model in a band too big so it just barely skims the skin, or it's been edited in post (or both). A band MUST be firm against the ribs to do it's job. But your health and body will thank you!! 😁
Yes me too. Like all the girls on ista or wherever do those fotos wjere you see them from behind and have totally smooth backs and I see my rolls and felt ugly but now I see again how normal ot is and all those pictures are probably edited...
Some people just have rolls no matter what! At my smallest I was a 28 band, one of the smallest mass produced band sizes. And I still got rolls from my bra band.
I’m only 20 minutes in but this video is making me want to drive 24+ hours to San Diego and visit this store. This experience is life changing! This was a great video, ladies! I loved seeing y’all’s confidence grow!

I recommend ABraThatFits’ bra size calculator! You can do it at home, and it’s the best calculator I know of.
Most stores size me as a 34DD, but ABraThatFits suggested 30GG. Turns out ABTF was just one cup size off - I wear 30G!
I really loved the fact that you did it with your friends, who also show different types of bodies. The fact that you all look so different, but still each one has their own insecurities, just proves how much patriarchy repressed women and made them feel ashamed and question their worth. You guys, by doing this video, serve so many of us to take space in the world and recognize the beauty and power that each single woman has! Thank You Sierra

That’s one way to explain top surgery! 😂 But yeah, I’m also transmasc with large boobs (I wear a 34GG or 34H in UK the last time I checked on r/ABraThatFits) so I 100% believe that getting a proper bra fitting will do SO well for women or any breast havers for that matter! I plan to get either top surgery or a breast reduction so drastic that they basically won’t be there, but I absolutely don’t want to take the joy of an experience like this anyway from anybody!
I can’t wait to be able to send mine off. Even if I wasn’t trans I’d want them off bc of all my sensory issues

The fact that Kenzie is so insanely gorgeous, and yet still has body issues and difficulties finding herself sexy just really makes you think. We all see ourselves as lesser than when really what we all need is confidence. (Btw, everyone in this video is gorgeous, Kenzie’s portion just resonated really well with me.)

I have only ever had traumatic experiences with bra fittings and have left crying without fail every time, my boobs have been by biggest insecurity since I got them at 14 so this whole video had me in tears! The way the store owner talked to you all was so amazing and supportive, it’s actually making me want to go to cali now just for a fitting lol!!!
When Rachel said she was worried about this idea of "your boobs are too small to get a bra fitting, why are you here?" I FELT THAT. I have pretty small boobs but I just wear cheap bras that aren't particularly flattering, I've always thought it'd be nice to get a bra fitting but felt... idk imposter syndrome-y about it. It was so nice to see women with different body types go through this process. Now I can see how a bra fitting can be helpful even for us smaller chested people :) 💘
The right one makes all the difference! I had itty bitties till my 30’s so I know how it feels to feel like you don’t have enough to warrant a good one. You do and you deserve to feel good about them…and comfortable!! ❤
I loved the varieties of sizes. I always felt since I was smaller chested that I didn’t have a problem with my bra size. But after all the tips from the professional, I started to notice how many problems my bras have. I need a fitting, ASAP!!💘

I love seeing Ryan get emotional when Sierra starts talking about Kenzie prioritizing herself. 💘. As a woman of 53, I had my first true bra fitting at an awesome boutique about 8 years ago. I won’t buy bras anywhere else. The woman who owns the boutique I go to is super knowledgeable about bras and so is her staff. Each of them takes a class each year on how to help women find the proper fitting bra. Great video, it was a joy to see women supporting each other!

As someone who doesn't wear actual bras for gender and sensory reasons, I still loved loved loved seeing this. The support between you gals and the charismatic shop owner? Perfect video!
One of the best things my mom has ever done for me was take me to a professional bra fitter when I was in college. She wanted to wait until I stopped growing a bit and could get more use out of an expensive, well fitting bra. What made the experience so worth it for me was that the person fitting me walked through every step for how a bra should fit so that I could do it for myself in the future! I was actually fitted for an elomi bra and I've never looked back! Just something I'd absolutely urge mamas to do because it was life changing!
Okay I just have to say that I did not know how much I needed a video like this until I watched it! The rawness, authenticity, friendship, body positivity is just IT!! I went in for a fitting a couple months ago and I can 1000000% say how important it is. I was so shook and I was one of the people who wore bigger bands because I thought the looser the better. No wonder why I wasn’t comfortable. Life changed ever since my appointment.

I used to work as a bra fitter at a Macy's and everything that was talked about in this video was everything I was taught, which is very validating for me personally. Besides that, everyone is radiating with confidence at the end of this video and it's so beautiful to see, I think this is genuinely one of my new favorite videos ever! I got my perfect fit from reddit’s “A Bra That Fits”. They are super expert in bra fitting and super helpful too. I would never have guessed I was a 30DD.
Downside though is that it’s really hard to find a 30DD! When you do find it though, the fit is amazing - you won’t ever want to take it off and you will look so much better!
I love ABraThatFits! I have been measuring myself with their calculator for the past 4 years. Their community has really helped me learn how to diagnose my own fit issues. 10/10.
I love 'a bra that fits', it was revolutionary for me. I went from a 34B to a 30DDD(E in UK) and I wish that every lady would use it. I wish that we all learned earlier that our rib cage measurement *is* our band size. Don't add inches (don't add 2 inches as the first lady was instructed to do). I wish everyone knew that almost all of the bra calculators out there are wrong, and that bra makers are straight up lying to you with their size charts in order to fit you into one of their sizes by adding 4 or 5 inches to the under band measurement.

@@cheesymation "A Bra That Fits" on reddit is a great community that I can definitely recommend.
They have a calculator and a guide on how to measure yourself, plus tons of material about beast shapes and bra types, and a bunch of lovely people willing to answer questions if you are unsure about anything, or help with recommendations for bras for your exact shape. I didn't know it before becoming a part of that community, but bras are not one shape fits all (just like the woman gave Sierra a more teardrop shaped bra because she was fuller at the bottom). If you for example are spilling out the top it's not actually necessarily because the cup is too small, it might just be because you have more volume on the top than that bra was built for. Anyway, I'm rambling.
It can be a long process to find the right fit, but once you do there'll be no more spillage, air gaps, sliding around, pokes from wires etc. and it's so worth it.

Thank you for this video!!! 💘 We all need more easily-accessible bra resources. The median cup volume, irregardless of the band, is closer to a UK G/U.S. I, but most U.S. retailers stop at DDD, so no wonder so many people are in a poor fit! Bra sizes go all the way up to O-cup and beyond, and it's totally normal to be anything from A to O.
As a bra fitter myself, it makes me SO happy and fulfilled being able to positively change lives on the daily like this. 🥺🥰
P.s. SUPER impressed with all the knowledge!! She definitely carries more of the expensive French brands, but luckily there are TONS of brands out there like Freya, Panache, Parfait, and Natori just to name a few that carry an even better size range, while also being about half the price.
The only sizing I disagreed with was the 34B, as the band was still too big and cups too small. The wires were on breast tissue on the sides, they weren't tacking in the middle, and I saw the fitter able to pull the band far from her back (should only pull about 2 inches away). Maybe a band down and one cup volume up, so a 32D might be better to try 😊
Yeah, I thought the exact same thing. Maybe in a cup size bigger would mean that the gore could tack.

I can’t get over how bra fitting (properly) isn’t talked, taught, etc much about. I’ve always had a gut feeling my bras just feel off and the incorrect size. I can relate so much to Riayn when she mentioned that her bra straps dig into her and her shoulders hurt. I am dying to go to San Diego to visit this store! All I’ve know is Victoria Secret and that is my go to store since I can remember since it’s so much in our faces. 💘💘

I relate to all of you in different ways! Specifically though, my son is just over 2 (exclusively pumped for a year), and I still only wear my pumping and nursing bras. Kenzie had me bawling! Finding yourself after becoming a mom has been one of the largest struggles of becoming a parent for me. It is so easy to fall into the mom category and not prioritize yourself. I only have my son, but I imagine it’s even easier to place that “I’m a mom label” with two babies.

This video was so well done! It was educational and motivating. I love that you showcases different sizes and personalities surrounding this topic. As a mom currently in nursing bras (nursing baby #2), and as woman that has always felt like my bras aren’t fitting right (never felt sexy in them, always VS padded), but not knowing how to fix the issues, this was very helpful.
Preconceived notions of how a cup-size should look hold us back so much!! All of you thought you could never be THAT cup size, which probably extends to a lot of women who wear the wrong size. Great video with lots of useful information! I get measured every time I buy new bras and I don't think my size has been the same twice in a row 😅

Through out my teen years I thought I was a 34ddd which was the biggest size I could get at Victoria secret. For grade 12 prom I needed a strapless bra and got my first proper fitting at a specialty store only to find out I’m was a 32G in Uk sizing. It was a shock but also amazing to then get a bra that actually fit. Only learnt this fall that US and UK sizing is a bit different and that it’s worth paying attention too

There is a brand called Hotmilk that make some beautiful nursing bras. very much an investment. they also make quite a few standard looking ones too so make sure you keep scrolling for the super pretty ones.

Omg. I went literally TODAY to Rumeur Lingere and got a bra fitting with Trisha and the way this woman literally CHANGED MY LIFE.
I took Sierra’s advice went with one of my friends and it made all the difference. It was such a positive and supportive environment between the two of us, but having Trisha there made all the difference because she’s just so lovely. Truly she’s even better in person 🫶🏽 we love Trisha.
We also gushed about Sierra for a little which is always fun ♥️ anyways if you love in San Diego literally RUN!! it was life changing.
