I don't know why, but here in Germany an AR-15 costs between €2.000-3.000 _($1.800-2.700)._
And I'm not talking about imported ones from North America, but made in Germany! It doesn't matter by which weapon manufacturer. I just checked it up and the cheapest one was made by Hera Arms, from Bavarian, costing €1.979.
And then I read that in the US, you can get one for $399 at the supermarket. Well, here you can only buy guns at the gun shop or online, but I'll think you don't pay 2-3 thousand bucks for an AR-15 at the gun shop either. Even if it's not as cheap as at the supermarket.
Just ordering from the US doesn't work. It's so much paperwork and legal stuff that online vendors normally don't ship guns to Europe/ Germany.
I'm pretty jealous of you guys!

@@mcgman8058 are you kidding me he's got an expensive optic on it and a monolithic rail... and what about that funky integrated bolt release up near the bottom of the right side of the dust cover that's a specialty item there's nothing minimalist about that. Don't be a gear queer just go get yourself a basic carbine and learn how to use it the way God intended. Stock is beautiful and the way it was designed by Eugene Stoner is the way it should be it was made to be used in the field not to be teabagged.

@DeltaFlare987 how can you weld your suppressor? Can’t say I’ve heard of that or find a video on it any suggestions?
@@robertbagley5713 what’s welded is the pin in the suppressor added so that the length of the suppressor counts as barrel length, thus making it not a short barreled rifle
@@robertbagley5713 it most likely has the SureFire socom 3 prong flash hider. It is about 2 and a half inches, so when you get it pinned and welded so it is not removable, it counts towards making your barrel over 16 inches, so it would not be considered an SBR. That flash hider is specifically made for surefire’s suppressor attachment system. I have a 14.5 inch barrel with a pinned and welded compensator, which gives the same affect.

I've been watching your RUclips shorts for a while now and find them fascinating. I don't own or know much about guns, but of all of them, this one is my favorite. Seems simple and effective.

@@moeller013 they have an NSN and are used operationally by the US military, DSS, USSS and DOE/NNSA. Surefire is one of the most reputable brands on the planet.

If a minimalist approach is everything but a flashlight you've got it backwards
I like the quad stack for range day, other than that though I have a Red Dot with a magnifier, an angled foregrip, and a light. Otherwise I just have a bolt release extension, an ambi charging handle, and a lot of magazines, some metal some polymer.
Basically I'm rocking the same thing but stock bolt release i may pick up an ambi lower and get a dd upper

I really like that ambi bolt catch. One thing I have a lot of trouble with when manipulating an AR-15 is locking the bolt back (I basically put the stock against my leg and use one hand to hold the bolt catch down and the other hand to rack bolt). This seems like that would totally eliminate that issue meaning you could do all of that while keeping your rifle on target which is great.
What bolt catch is that? I'm lefty with a righty AR and would love to have this.
Buy a Magpul BAD lever your pr will be solved 😉
It's not an issue. When do you realistically want to be able to lock your bolt back so often that you need a extra switch/failure point to your rifle?
As I understand you’re in Alberta Canada. I don’t know how you get this stuff considering all of this is banned 100% by turdeau. Maybe laws are different in Alberta or you have a special PAL license??
There's a good chance he has a dealer's license. Special access to a lot of shit normal civvies can't get. Either that or the majority of the stuff he has was acquired before Trudeau's legislation and he hasn't given into the buy back scheme. Even if that were the case, the suppressor is 100% illegal as is the mag if it's not pinned to 5 round capacity. Love his content, but definitely scratch my head at how the Mounties haven't knocked on his door yet.

nice. you gotta look up Wise Man's Company hotpocket heat shield wraps for the handguard. they have two options and one has a cut out for angled grips and they really work taking dispersing the handguard heat. and they look sleek as well I think one would look nice on this build
