Thanks so much for doing this video. Yesterday I bought an 11 on Backmarket, after my 7 had died. I'd had the sense it was a good balance of affordable, well made and recent enough to be compatible with at least one of the most recent iOSs. Then out of curiosity I went on here to see Apple's intro video for it, came across this one here, and it's really nice to hear it's quite a decent phone, circa now.
I got one for free when they pulled it from shelves in 2022 along with a 13 Pro Max. Used them both as secondary devices. I actually ended up using the 11 more since it's lighter and for what I'm using it for, I need an LCD because of burn in risk. The phone is still perfectly fine and most people should save their money and get either this or the standard iPhone 12. I'm aware of how pixel densities work and I have above average vision. With that I can still tell you that between this and the 13 pro max, the screen difference is only noticeable if you are comparing them side by side and even then, most people won't even pick up on it.
I am using Iphone 11 with 88% battery health, I switched from android to iPhone and I very much like the ios experience. Its working great, much better social media apps on iphone compared to android. Not switching to android anytime soon. And yes I do have to charge 2 times because I charge my phone before it hits 20% and I charge it till 80% so I charge 2 times in a day. The camera is good for me coming from android and I think I can use this phone for 2 more years.
Just got a new iPhone 11 after coming from another old 11 after my 13 broke and it works great only thing Im complaining about is it’s not the 15 with the island but other than that it’s perfect and not big on tech so i wouldn’t notice minor issues
As a power user who uses gps sucking transit apps while streaming RUclips videos on the go, this phone is incredible compared to my old iPhone SE 2020!! It’s so much faster thanks to that extra ram and storage and it feels like a huge leap forward despite being an older phone than the se 2020 and this is with a 75% capacity battery!!
I just recently switched to iPhone 15 pro from my beloved 11 that I had for almost 4 years and had 96% battery health (its overall condition netted me a very nice trade in) For me that’s the longest I ever held on to a phone and honestly I could hold out another year just fine and just ended up being impatient. This is still imo a great phone that really only lacks the latest bells and whistles but still holds out in 2024
My iPhone 11’s battery heath is at about 75% and that’s with very heavy use with 10 ish hours of yt & games per day over 5 years and keeps it’s charge for up to 2 days with light use. I do hope that we get the 2025 update you were referring to at the beginning of this video, keeping it for another year or 2 would give me time to save up for the next one.
I currently have iPhone 11, like already said, my iPhone can barely make it through the day even with lite to mid usage. I work 10 1/2 hr days and even if I don’t use it for anything but text, I find myself needing to charge often just to stay over 20% before my work day is up (starting at 100%) I also notice a big difference in service with other iPhone users with same providers in same location. I swam to loose/have a hard time holding signal in places I shouldn’t. Definitely looking to upgrade to at least the iPhone 14
I currently use a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra as my daily driver. I just purchased an iPhone 11 64GB model just to experiment with iOS and just to have a backup phone. I also bought a TextNow SIM card to put in it that way I dont have to switch my SIM out between phones.
My 11 worked great for me, I only ended up upgrading to the 13 Pro because the deal was way too good to pass up. Ended up replacing the battery and giving it to my grandma as an upgrade to her moto g6
iphone 7 plus user in 2024 here 😅 still working. good enough for my needs. just ordered iphone 11 earlier, it will surely feel an upgrade even if iphone 11 is an old model lol.
Lol are you doing what I do and switching between your iPhone 11 and iPhone 15 when one needs charged? I'm doing that with my iPhone 12 and iPhone XR. The iPhone 12 is my daily driver device, while my cousin gave me the iPhone XR which was still on iOS 15 because she had upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro and then stashed the iPhone XR in her drawer in her dresser. Then she was cleaning out her drawer and gave me the iPhone XR. I stupidly updated it to iOS 17 and it struggles to run with that software.
@@Techlifeandmorethts crazy because I do the exact same thing with my iPhone 11 and iPhone se2 switching thru out the day so I can increase the longevity of my iPhone 11 .
My daughter has this iPhone 11 and loving it, probably the last iOS update for this amazing phone? But this is still holding up well in 2024.I have an iPad 9 same processor with the 11 and still zippy as it is!
as someone who got an iphone 11 for free and uses it daily (had to pay a repair shop $75 to replace the battery) it is 100% useable in 2024 and honestly I see no reason to upgrade, I don't need all the fancy new features of a newer model, and I can see this phone lasting me atleast another 2 or 3 years, by then I hope to get a used 14 or 15 for a decent price.
i have a friend that pre order the iphone 11 when it came out and now has 97% battery life. he never replaced the battery and only charged with the 5w charger overnight
Im still using the 11 pro max up until today as my daily driver. I really like it, I just replace my battery and have an anker power bank for safety measures. I know a friend that still uses iphone xr and he says it's quite good.
I’ve had this phone since it came out and my battery life is 79% I just order the new 16 pro I think I very much deserve it. Only reason I need a new one is need more storage and frankly it’s time.
The best way to buy the iPhone 11 is to buy the straight talk locked version, brand new for $199. 100% battery health and it unlocks after 60 days of usage.
My dad still uses his as an upgrade from a 6 and he loves it, it’s probably the best phone he can get for his use case. Battery lasts him 2.5-3 days and the cameras are still amazing for taking pictures of his cat and around the house. Heck, I would have still used my 11 if it had a brighter screen, but alas, that’s why I went for a 15 Plus
The iPhone 11 was my first iPhone after spending years with Android. Loved that phone a ton. Sold it to my auntie after I switched to the 2020 SE just to try the home button iPhones for the first time. I know she kept that phone until the 13 mini came out. The iPhone 11 is still a solid af choice if you’re a regular user.
I have the 11 it’s still pretty good. I really love the design and the purple is amazing. I do want to upgrade to the 16 when it’s out but still 60hz is a bit disappointing
I have a iPhone 15 and while it is better due to oled 5G MagSafe and Dynamic Island I still use my 11 when I’m lying around the house and it’s still a great phone even on ios 18
I have the iPhone 11 as a back up I got it for free from my grandpaw he upgraded to the 14 pro yet my main phone is the 15 and the iPhone 11 chugs on iOS 18 both phones my 15 and 11 are on iOS 18! And the iPhone 11 was the 1st iPhone I bought with my money! And it has 80% battery health
I pay for Google photos. iCloud only stores as much as your phone can hold. I paid for 2TB till I realized when I deleted off phone it deleted off iCloud. And yes you can switch accounts and whatnot but as soon as you do it syncs and bam pictures deleted. Google photos has an option to clearly delete off phone to free up storage while keeping on the cloud.
Thats an disadvantantage of iCloud, you cant have photos in your iCloud only. Tough if there is such an option i hope to find it somehow. Until then Google photos are really a better option in terms of iphone capacity management.
Altough what I realize with every iOS update my used iPhone memory shrinks, meaning that Apple manages on device files storage better with each update.
One year ago I bought iPhone 11 128gb from argos brand new and now almost 1year and battery health 100% and always battery for 2days no problem and fast internet, good quality pictures and ios17 and have ios18 and possible later have ios19
Using the 13 and it works very well too. Ipgones last pretty long unless you accidentally break them, then forget about trying to fix em cuz apple doesn't want that.
Sold my iphone 15 Pro Max because I got a fair price for it, a few weeks before the new iphone release. Now I'm using a 11, which I bought as a secondary phone for running and because I think the mint green is the best looking iphone ever 😁 Apart from the cameras (especially the telephoto lens), there is nothing that I miss from the 15 PM... I might even love it even more, because of the shape and the color. For day to day use, it functions the same. Maybe I'll hold onto this phone for a while.
Iphone 11 only 200 bucks brand new through Walmart visible which is Verizon. After 60 days it will be unlocked. Can be used with any carrier. You're welcome people.
I just got mine a few months back so I mean I’m in love with it. Really good picture quality and just good in general still. 64 GB is ehh though but still worth it.
i used a iphone 11 up untill December when I got a iPhone 14 pro max 1tb for $500 I got rid of it because I had broken the lcd 4 times and didn't want to spend the money fix it again, but I gave it to my little sister and she bought a new screen for it and still uses it! somehow on its original battery it still at 86% health
I have been using my iPhone 11 since October 2019, and plan to do so for a while longer! As usual, the battery is the biggest issue and I had it replaced in November 2022 which gave it a whole new lease of life. That replacement battery is now sitting at 83% and I'm starting to experience slowdowns and poor battery life. That being said, it still lasts me the day if I'm not using it much. Things like facetime and social media do tend to burn through it however. As you mentioned in the video, the core iOS experience is the same, and that's the main reason I've held onto my 11 for so long. I'll probably get another year or so out of this phone, but it has certainly being the most reliable piece of technology I've ever owned.
iPhone 11 here and holding like a champ. only battery life is at 70% or so but honestly when I go to an Apple Store and see the 'new' iPhones and even compare the cameras and displays is just a tiny bit better for 1000 eur plus. idk but it might be a good idea to just replace the battery instead. it doesn't seem worth it
Whenever someone asks for a good budget iPhone to buy, I'll always recommend them the iPhone 12 mini or iPhone 12. I have the iPhone 12 and it is actually still pretty fast on iOS 17, it does not feel like a four-year-old phone. I'll be interested to know how iOS 18 performs on it, but I really hope that it doesn't significantly effect the performance of the phone.
iPhone 11 compelled me to upgrade from the 5s in 2020. The only serious upgrades that are compelling me to upgrade today are moving to OLED and 120 Hz. I think Apple is out of their minds thinking that the high refresh rate screen is a $1000 feature though. Pixel 9 seems like a decent upgrade for me. I might buy an older pro iPhone refurbished as well.
I got the exactly same one on the thumbnail i also bought a cover for only 6-8 dollars on k-mart mines face id dont work and battery replacement only 😊 it gets hot but i dont use it as much only for just calling and stuff like that or if im going somewhere so rn im on my ipad 8:D❤
Been using a $50 AUD iPhone 11 I got off a family member for about a year now, great phone! (even if mine is pretty broken..) Mine has a broken back and messed up camera but even still, it works fine for what i need. It has a pretty good battery even at around 86%, and does mostly everything i need (RUclips, Games, etc) I'll probably use it as long as i can.
I’ve owned my iPhone 11 for 4 years and if it wasn’t for my cracked screen I would still be rocking it now with a new battery. I have the iPhone 12 now and even though the device has been out for 4.5 years, like the iPhone 11 the 12 still holds up and is no slouch. iPhone’s these days function very similar and I don’t consider myself missing out just because I don’t have the iPhone14/15.
Still have mine after 5 years.Still works great as normal, still in perfect condition, and with 97% battery health, But im planning on upgrading to the 16 pro max this year.
Did you change the battery though? Because my 11 battery health went down after one year. I also have this phone since launch and had to change the battery twice. I’m running on iOS 17.3.1 because I don’t trust iOS 18😅 a friend of mine updated his 11 to 18 and it got messed up.

Who else is watching on their 11
I see tons of Iphone 11 in second hand shops, thank you for this great review!
Still a decent phone for most of the people
I just recently switched to iPhone 15 pro from my beloved 11 that I had for almost 4 years and had 96% battery health (its overall condition netted me a very nice trade in)
For me that’s the longest I ever held on to a phone and honestly I could hold out another year just fine and just ended up being impatient.
I am using my iPhone 11 right now
I’m still using an iPhone 11 Pro Max as my daily and it’s been great for me!
Still iam using 15 pro max but i dont have any complain its owesome phn for mee
I also enjoy the speakers of the 11! They are an upgrade from the XR. The iPhone 11 has better speakers than the 12 Pro. I still enjoy it a lot!!
I bought mine 2 years ago and the battery health is at 87% and I will use it until it doesn’t support the newest version of iOS anymore.
I currently have iPhone 11, like already said, my iPhone can barely make it through the day even with lite to mid usage. I work 10 1/2 hr days and even if I don’t use it for anything but text, I find myself needing to charge often just to stay over 20% before my work day is up (starting at 100%)
I also notice a big difference in service with other iPhone users with same providers in same location.
Hi I, how is it going? Can you tell the difference? Is there anything stressful about using it?
iphone 11 feels great, im satisfied! im still using 7+ too. 👍
@@ok-alarm okay great, I am thinking about getting an 11 😊
i use iPhone 11 2 years, have all time ios 15.6 , now battery 88%, but still nice working, new ios not planning use, really love ios 15))
Watching on my old 11. I upgraded to the iPhone 15
@@Techlifeandmore yes with the XR included. Mine is on iOS 14 though
whats though on camera is it good i want to buy 11
Yay I have the 11 rn
Your pfp i so preppy 🥰🥰🥰🥰🦶🦶🦶🦶🦶🦶🦶🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
@@lea_is_tired thank youuuu I try really.
With almost every model of amoled/oled screen phones having green line issue. I'm thinking of buying this as a daily driver
i have a friend that pre order the iphone 11 when it came out and now has 97% battery life. he never replaced the battery and only charged with the 5w charger overnight
The best way to buy the iPhone 11 is to buy the straight talk locked version, brand new for $199. 100% battery health and it unlocks after 60 days of usage.
this channel is great, subbed !
2.5 - 3 days or hours?
@@lindsaywagner5404ain’t no way it’s 3 days😂
I have a 100% less than a year old 11 and a 89% 13. Some days I just miss how the 11 feels in the hand
Upgraded from iphone 6s to 11 when the 11 came out. Still using the 11 just fine with 73% battery life
I have the iPhone 11 as a back up I got it for free from my grandpaw he upgraded to the 14 pro yet my main phone is the 15 and the iPhone 11 chugs on iOS 18 both phones my 15 and 11 are on iOS 18! And the iPhone 11 was the 1st iPhone I bought with my money! And it has 80% battery health
I am still using my 11 pro today. Only minor gripes, but the battery still can go all day and all that
i have an samsung galaxy a14 and want to switch to android am thinking of an iphone 11 any opinions??
11 served me well until I got the 13 Pro Max two years later and haven’t looked back at the base model phones, only forward
I have 11 💪🏻
Apple replaced the battery on my iPhone 12 one year ago and I don't regret it
Using the 13 and it works very well too. Ipgones last pretty long unless you accidentally break them, then forget about trying to fix em cuz apple doesn't want that.
your opinions on the iPhone 11 now are you going to trade it in or keep it after iPhone iPhone 16 release
I got a new battery for my iPhone 11 Pro Max and it feels like new again. I can go the entire day light use and only use 40% battery.
Sold my iphone 15 Pro Max because I got a fair price for it, a few weeks before the new iphone release.
Now I'm using a 11, which I bought as a secondary phone for running and because I think the mint green is the best looking iphone ever 😁
Apart from the cameras (especially the telephoto lens), there is nothing that I miss from the 15 PM...
Im trying to get a iPhone xs is it a good iPhone for todays age?
No. Generally don't get anything before 2020. Go for a 13
I just got mine a few months back so I mean I’m in love with it. Really good picture quality and just good in general still. 64 GB is ehh though but still worth it.
It would be cool if Apple took the XR/11 body and put a modern processor in it for the SE gen 4. It’s a really nice design imo.
This would be great, I love the XR/11 display, it puts much less strain on my eyes than the newer OLEDs. But Apple doesn't care about that it seems...
I think the SE 4 is supposed to have an upgraded XR body , with the iPhone 16 internals and iPhone 13/14 display
i used a iphone 11 up untill December when I got a iPhone 14 pro max 1tb for $500 I got rid of it because I had broken the lcd 4 times and didn't want to spend the money fix it again, but I gave it to my little sister and she bought a new screen for it and still uses it! somehow on its original battery it still at 86% health
I’ve been using the 11 for the past 5 years it’s been ok, but I’m getting the iPhone 16 pro this Christmas
I love my 11 but ppl shouldn’t be buying it in 2024. Go for the 13 minimum
Going to get a 11 with brand new battery
Imagine having this conversation in 2014 and wondering how the iPhone 3GS is holding up.
I’m on a 3GS right now, holding up wonderfully
@@derrick1916-i7dyeah of course you are 😂
Watching this video on a 4s.
watching this on an iPhone 5, yes youtube works but only in safari.
Most people don’t make full use out of the newer pro models anyway. I know I certainly wouldn’t. I’m thinking of upgrading from an 8 to an 11/12 mini
Same, leaning towards the 12 mini but battery life gives me pause.
iPhone 11 here and holding like a champ. only battery life is at 70% or so but honestly when I go to an Apple Store and see the 'new' iPhones and even compare the cameras and displays is just a tiny bit better for 1000 eur plus. idk but it might be a good idea to just replace the battery instead. it doesn't seem worth it
Replacing the battery is usually the best play. Depending on your location can be quite cheap too if you take it to an independent technician.
I recently got a 15 and am planning to use it for at least 5 years. Checking this out to see how the 15 would fare after 5years.
12 is a better choice than 11 for the oled screen and 5g making it more future proof
@@cliffordmovies4u406 What I'm saying but also the a14 is still really fast.
Im currently using an IPhone 11
As someone that hasn't used an iPhone since 2021 I am looking at the 11 as a solid backup
I had the 11 but I upgraded to the 13mini. After my experience with the mini I’m switching back to Android….
How come you're switching back? I was interested in getting the 13 mini, though I'm an android user...
Although I dont use it anymore, I still have one. It was such a great deal when it came out.
iPhone 11 compelled me to upgrade from the 5s in 2020.
Bro I’m still using an iPhone 6…. I need an upgrade so bad
Edit: Got a 12 recently. I love it so much
Wow thats a decade old phone
@@IpadAcc. lol
(even if mine is pretty broken..)
Mine has a broken back and messed up camera but even still, it works fine for what i need.
Counter argument. Save up for a reg 13. OLED and lighter in the hand.
I am still using 11, its having 961 charge cycles with 86% bh.. everything is good still :)
