Whenever someone saw me (even a random person) started advising me about reducing weight. It became a mental torture to me. But my husband never had told a single word about my weight or looks. I appreciate him for that. All what he did was supporting me and taking my back whenever I was broken because of the comments of others. Finally at a moment I realized that I should reduce weight for the sake if my own health benefits. After that only I started following a diet schedule. I managed to reduce 25 kgs within an year. All along this time, my husband's support was an immense strength for me. Even he reduced his three time meals into two meals per day to support my diet. Actually without the family's support it's hard to manlintain a diet schedule. Families should support people like us

But it’s also important to put your health in the first place. Being obese or overweight is not at all good for your health. Instead learn to love yourself and transform your body slowly, where it reaches at a point where your body is healthy. Health is everything. It’s absolutely fine to do some exercise and follow a good diet to burn that unwanted fat in your body which keeps you ill.

Firstly, it's fine if he's not attracted to plus size women BUT why did he marry her then? Not being attracted doesn't excuse ill-treating. We also forget that people "can" lose weight. If that was his problem, he can maybe encourage his wife to make better diet and lifestyle choices to lose weight to a healthier weight BUT in a nice way. No need to be rude or put someone down. ALSO we must be careful with our message of body positivity. It's one thing to tell people not to shame or I'll treat someone for their weight.
