I know this is kinda irrelevant, but I would love to see a "owner career mode" in fifa. Where you hire managers, manage finances, do transfers suggested by managers, etc
it's not a new idea and something EA should have talked about already. What you just described has been a game mode in nba 2k for years. But youre right, your idea or any in the community really is irrelevant. EA doesnt listen to its community and only focuses on fut since theyre getting more money from there.

1 more tip. Sometimes the value is too low because he is playing in a position he isn't good at. I had a 55 rated CM that went up to 63 when I turned him to a ST.
Yea whenever i scout for center mids/defensive mids, the players come out with low ratings but when place as wingers, their ratings soar which is very retarded of EA in my opinion
@Itzz Ya boy just go development plans, press r2 to change to position growth. Select whichever position you want your player to be in. It would take weeks/months for position change
I'm a statistics person I think FIFA needs more stat. I would like to go back in the years and see who scored the most goals and assists in every League. Surely all they have to do is remember the data right? I'd also like to see who holds records in scoring the most goals in each league and compete for that.

I had my home grown talent at 58 rated looked at his stats and realised that he had like 90 ball control so i switched his position to cdm to cm and he immendiately grew by 12

back in previous versions of fifa you could find a Tech Gifted striker those kinds were so freaking good, perfect attacking stats, decent pace and incredible dribbling.
Not to contradict you but with high potential low overall youth academy players you may be able to change their position to something that suits them more and have their overall skyrocket. I had one player that had a overall in the 40s and I switched him from CDM to ST I believe and he went to high 50s

I had a low 60s that I needed to train to either cm or cb or he wouldn’t be able to play in the starting XI (harrogate). I trained him to cb and he skyrocketed to high 60s

Another tip: I also noticed that clubs who have high expectations (the board expectations for YA, succes in league, finance expectations etc) for the YA mostly have a few good youth players in the academy at the start of youre career mode. You can see this in the beginning before you choose your team. I play with Portsmouth, they had high expectations for the YA. There were 3 boys in the acadamy already with potential for exiting prospect (overall were 57, 56 and 62).

I think that value is more important then overall for one reason. I got this fella who was 53 overall cdm but he had no defensive ability. His stats were solid cam stats and he was 69 overall once position changed. He’s now 21 years old 93 overall.

I have a manager mode where I use Crotone, then sent a scout to Italy and on the first or second report I found a guy named Marco Rossi that was 15 yrs CM with a 80-93 potential. Put him on the first team at 16 he was like 67 or 68 and now at 21 he’s 91 overall and it looks like there is still lots of room to grow. He’s the best player I’ve found in my 4 manager modes I’ve done, but he has no traits and same goes for 95% of the good potential youth players I’ve scouted.
4:15 it is very hard and unrewarding to just completely rely on receiving scout reports and turning out to not find any player good enough. So it makes sense to do this tip if youre really looking for better results. Reminder, EA makes you pay more just to get a future star in your starting YA squad in cm. So doing this free thing isnt a cheat, think of it as a lifehack.
Scouting regions, that are historically conjoined with your club may be fun, but if the region is not exactly successful, and you manage to find and develop a great player from that region-he will be called out to his national team every time they have a match, therefore he won't be available for the club matches. So scouting players in the "TOP tier" countries will ensure you have your talents at your hand, due to the high position competion in top tier national squads.
The tip about searching countries relevant to history... is that just a cool preference (I also do it) OR...did you mention it because it has sme relevance to the scripting/game setup ?? Let me know . Thanks !
im on the switch so im greatly limited in what i can do, but one time after a game all my youth players' OVR went up by like 5-10 each, is it known what causes this? i usually just keep training them but that was a huge help, wish i knew why it happened
I feel like I like last years development style better. Where the training directly improves your player, but I like how you can train a lot of players this year.
no way this year is so much better.. you can take very tall right and left backs (198 cm) and turn them into godly pacey cbs. you can also also have a very technical agile and fast striker by turning a left or right winger into striker.. if you play the 433 with false 9 you can turn a very technical player into that false 9 and not have to worry about playing a physically strong bum there that cant move to save his life.. also workrates you can have your full team on high defensive workrates if you wnat to play a counter attacking defensive football so this year is obviously way better not even talking about dynamic potential
You can also train RB and LB to RWB and LWB to train their Skill Moves, and ST to CF for Defensive Work Rate. When you have completed the above training sessions you can retrain your players back to their original position. This is more like general tip but it also applys to youth players
I think you can train players in different positions to improve the stats, skill move and weak foot and not actually change their positions. When the position training is completed, don’t press Y to confirm the position change. I know this definitely work for work rate

This game doesn't have scouts for players in some parts in the world without a club. Fifa 09 used to have,now they allways have clubs. I hate those negotiations.
i always buy people wiht at least 200,000 because you can change their position to be a much better player, sometimes you get a cb with 30 defending and 70 dribbling
I enjoy the youth academy idea. I admit I didn’t buy the higher editions so I don’t have “home grown talent”. There is an easy way to fix this. Before your career mode starts create the player that you want. He can be as good or as bad as you want them to be. They will have “potential to be special if they r young enough. Also last thing when it comes to countries to scout these are the countries that I think you should scout: Albania Croatia Estonia Latvia Lithuania Moldova Slovakia Serbia Ukraine Japan Korea Saudi Arabia Algeria Ghana Morocco Nigeria The reason is because these teams don’t have a national squad on Fifa so they can’t get called up for international duty throughout your save. Hope this helps
This is completely off topic but my reserve keepers didn’t get too much play time and so their sharpness kept on going down because as you know you can’t train goalkeepers other than play them so I have started to train my players everyday but to keep them at perfect fitness and perfect sharpness I change the drills to only two players each so 6 total. This also increases the reserve keepers sharpness. You do have to check it though and put them into the first team now and then but it definitely gets all of the reserve keepers sharpness up without having to play them all the time👍🏻
@@FCGems I have two youth keepers I rotate for cup competitions to give them game time and bring them on now and then if I’m winning a game by a goal or two with roughly half an hour remaining. But if I don’t have any cup games for a few weeks when they are needed their sharpness is not very good.
Ideally you should not bother with anyone below 60. It takes far too long otherwise. Look at the value, as long as they have 90+ potential, cost over 1million pounds and are at least 60-65 rated, they're worth looking into.
What if my team is in the premier league than I have kid to be special at the striker and I move all my striker away so he can play if I simulate his potential still gonna grew or it’s better to loan him out because I had issue in the past where I put a youth in the first team play all the game and only grew by 2/3 during the season and his potential dropped

Hey man i got a question, i signed a youth academy player who had the description showing great potential, but after a season or two, despite playing about 20 games, the next season it just shows at club since 2022 etc. Did his potential drop below 85? Can i no longer get him to be a high rated player?
Is there anyway to increase the chance of loan offers coming in? All my youth players potential are dropping off a cliff as they're too low to warrant game time, but I have no loan offers.

Its default, realistically you wouldnt be in a youth team when you're 17 or 18, you'd already be playing for a club. As long as they reach 17, they can ask to leave any time. Just sign them and loan them out
So this FIFA I'm having a really hard time with thr legendary cpu, even the crappiest teams I face seem to just skill on and on, it's really frustrating. I've been destroying the legendary cpu for the past couple of fifa's, but I just can't on this one. Anyone else having this issue??

@@FCGems I hope they patch it. The only reason I play fifa is for career mode and raising young wonderkids into world beaters. They also changed the daily training to lower the sharpness. Alot of problems I hope they fix.

I switch teams every game so everyone gets playing time and no one has stamina issues. I've been playing fifa since fifa world cup Germany so I know what I'm talking about.

I had a 46 rated CDM. Change his position to a CAM. His overall went up to a 59.
I had a low 60s that I needed to train to either cm or cb or he wouldn’t be able to play in the starting XI (harrogate). I trained him to cb and he skyrocketed to high 60s
I got a ton of 85+ players from Bulgaria and Portugal.

Why stagger the youth scouting report dates? I understanding the saving before trick but why not have them all the same day for convenience?

Anytime a YA player drops in potential status, I recommend the Potential Loan Glitch to upgrade (provided he is still under 21 years)

They are 2 different players with the same last name (quite common in FIFA because the Youth Academy name pool is infamously small)

I haven't found this to matter, was doing a Season in Sporting and scouted Japan and still got world class potential players.

Hey man i got a question, i signed a youth academy player who had the description showing great potential, but after a season or two, despite playing about 20 games, the next season it just shows at club since 2022 etc. Did his potential drop below 85? Can i no longer get him to be a high rated player?
If the player is still under 22yrs. Then sadly yes, his potential dropped below 80.
I got 2 17 year old with potential to be special should i keep their devoloping on balance or change it
That depends if your happy with Weak Foot, Skill Moves, Work Rate and Position.
If so, then yeah, stick with balanced

Is there anyway to increase the chance of loan offers coming in? All my youth players potential are dropping off a cliff as they're too low to warrant game time, but I have no loan offers.

However, loan offers will come in, if the player has a good overall and high potential.

Youth academy regens are not the same as free agents, you wont find them, unless you sign them to your first team, then release them

how to prevent them from leaving.. its so annoying that i have to be forced to sign them at 18 everytime or ever at 17.
unlike previous versions where i had high rated youth at 75 but still in academy at 17 and no complaints.
Its default, realistically you wouldnt be in a youth team when you're 17 or 18, you'd already be playing for a club. As long as they reach 17, they can ask to leave any time. Just sign them and loan them out

Yes balanced is too slow, straight away stick a plan on them. For CB i just put stopper, CM playmaker/ball winning etc etc

My problem is having players dropping from PTBS to EP or even worse. I always run 2 teams and I have most of them lots of games. It's frustrating.
That’s an issue that’s definitely got worse in FIFA21 than in FIFA20
@@FCGems I hope they patch it. The only reason I play fifa is for career mode and raising young wonderkids into world beaters. They also changed the daily training to lower the sharpness. Alot of problems I hope they fix.

@@PatrickRoy30 i know that but I don't play any of my players every game. I have 2 teams that are mixed with young and experienced. Then 1 team of the best. I switch teams every game so everyone gets playing time and no one has stamina issues. I've been playing fifa since fifa world cup Germany so I know what I'm talking about.
If you have 2 youth academy players 1 is 15 yrs old the other is 18 yrs old and they both have a value of 900k will the 15 year old be better because he Is younger

FCG, if a top team (like Barça, Real, Liverpool, Man United, etc) wants one of my YA players on loan should I accept the loan? Because they are most likely not to get any game time

Only accept loans from teams not as high profile as yours or at least the same level.

It's better to promote them immediately and then loan them for 1 year and they will come back with at least +3 overall

Are potential statuses always shown if the overall is above 60, i have a lot of players who dont have a status, are their potentials all below 60?
If the OVR is above 60 and the status is “At Club Since” their potential is below 80.

I kinda don't agree on realistic scouting countries. Because you aren't depended on history. I mean you can spread you're team in North America, because football isn't popular there, also in Africa to populise it there and etc.

@@davidw.8290 it's better to keep 15 year olds in youth squads then since their potential won't drop a lot but their overall can increase
He means during transfer windows so that you can loan them before their potential takes a hit
