In my main CM the Sergio Ramos regen reached 85 rated by the end of his second season. The Salvatore Sirigu regen is a decent keeper too. I've got the Cristiano Ronaldo regen too but he's not developing as fast as I thought he would. Trying to get a squad full of regens and youth academy players so always on the look out for a decent regen.
You missed out on one of the easiest ones to find. Franck Ribery always retires at the end of season 1. French CF in Italy is always super simple to locate.

I’ve a question mate, Let’s say I wanted to get a youth player from Gabon or Bosnia or just somewhere that’s not a scoutable country for youth academy players, could I go to the edit player section in the main menu, find let’s say, a player from Gabon who’s going to most likely retire early in the career modes life cycle, and edited his stats to make him let’s say 90 overall. If I started a career mode save and waited until he retired to get his regen, would the regens potential be based on the new high overall of the player I edited, or would it be based on his base potential originally in the game? Cheers mate sorry if I’ve made it sound more complicated than needed

Those regens just seem to grow a bit too quick for my liking as it’s very common that they’ll spawn into the game with high 70s if not low 80 overalls which isn’t really a goer when your building a league 2 side if you get me

Just look at the base stats when searching, if they’re mainly green, sign them up. Naughty tip, Save prior, so if they’re crap, reload and don’t bother 🤣

If Messi was a free Agent search free agents. Same thing goes for any player retiring.

@@nissejohansson4924 yes, all players get regens. Maybe it’s a weird system that they have so when you load in career mode, legit, no player gets deleted and only players that get added in career mode is youth academy regens
Do regens have the same height as the actual player I’ve been trying to find buffons regen the season after he retired and I found one 6 foot 4 goal keeper with a different birthday than buffons

Zlatan's Regen and the actual Zlatan's stats have been flipped pretty much.
For me he was 86 Pace and 63 finishing. So had to play him at LW
Zlatan is a striker, the regen strikers are better as wingers. RW and RM produces better strikers.

They all have PTBS.
But you can loan out or not play them regularly and the potential status can drop.
Done it twice with my created Moukoko.
