I’m so going to convert strikers with high crossing and low finishing into wingers and wingers with high finishing and low crossing into strikers. Will use all the player types in scouting too and see what it gets me and convert them if I need to. Can’t wait for early access tomorrow and full release!
Yes! this has been fun in game. I like converting players with good defensive work rates to forwards or to CAM (you can train up the offensive work rate).
Kudos to EA for keeping guys like Cutzy in the fold. I imagine a lot of companies wouldn't want to involve content creators who are genuinely interested in giving honest opinions and feedback to their followers.

What is it like training work rates, wf and skill moves? Can we only go up or down on the work rates or are we able to turn a L/L player into a H/H?
i had a player from the academy with a 70-90 potential when he first got called up and showing great potential then after a month he had no potential expectation, so next season he played all games got 25 goals and went +10 but it still hasn't improved his potential now at 17 it says he's completed his development plans
Does choosing a role-specific plan still allow all around growth (at a slower rate) or is it locked into those attributes that aren't greyed out only? Using anything but balanced seems stupid if that CB will end up stuck at a pathetic 40 composure. Good to see mentals are still terrible coming out of the academy... 🙄
yo cutzy are the footedness of the youth players still messed up? I feel like its 50/50 or even more lefties when in real life usually there's like 70/30 for more righties

Cutzy where is the goalkeeper training option
I feel Like First thing I’m scouting is Defensive Minded, Attackers, and Technically Gifted that should bring me a wide sorts of positions and Position Training that could just set me right up
I always just search physical it’s pretty much every position but wing
"Boss, not feeling up for it, can I rest this match" *says player with 100 Fitness/Sharpness* Bet it happens, even though it should really only be players with 60 or below in one or both stats.
On another note, wish there were some updates for Player Career mode, so if we're in latter situation we can actually ask for a rest rather than just 'simming' a match. Also I know its a pipedream but how about starting as a sub as well. I know it was scripted but 'The Journey' had it so why can't they implement it for Player Career mode?
If we're starting off with youngest age possible, we shouldn't be able to just walk straight into a Top tier league side (or even the Championship really) at 65 rating or below.
On the same note, i wish there was a setting to determine how quickly your stats grow in player career. No matter where you play, it takes 1-2 seasons to be one of the best in the world in that position. By season 3-4, you easily have the skill to be the best player in history.

I don't think the "Attacker" not bringing back ST/CF is a bug. I think the player types are suppose to be the type of player they are. So for example a CAM can be a playmaker (like cesc fabregas), someone technically gifted (Nabil Fekir) or an attacker (maybe frank lampard?). It wouldn't really make any sense for there to be "attacker" strikers...because all strikers are meant to be attackers just like there are no defensive minded CBs because all CBs by job title are focused on defending. That's just how i interpret it. Great content as always mate.
Nice updates. What I’ve seen from other videos though, the player growth is out of control. Also the player name pool is still great for the AI but also still the same ol bland and repetitive names for user youth players.
I mean with Position Training Attackers can bring you OP Strikers cuz their stats will match that of a Striker

Love this but does anyone know how to preset the drills to the ones you got A’s in along with the players that play that drill? I have to constantly pick the same players and drills every other day and there has to be a way to save it as a preset so I can just keep siming through

Is there any way to determine the potential of non-youth players? My scouts will often bring me reports of young (17-20) senior team players that are flagged as "showing great potential", but i never go for them seeing as i dont know what that potential is, or what the game deems as great potential.

And they added wales? Even though most good players in the drastically inferior welsh league often go to Swansea or Cardiff, (who both ironically play in the English league) or Chelsea of course because they get everywhere!

But for example you got 1 player who is 68 average and you want to be 82 how do you do that because in fifa 20 and fifa 19 and fifa 18 you can simulate trainings

My player has a 86 potential but the second he hit 81 I got a notification saying his development has been hit but he’s 21 can his rating still go up or is he now stuck on 81

I had a development plan for my youth player. It said expected time: 2 weeks. But after 3 weeks it stays the same
Bit late to this but I assumed that the week number was how long it would take to go up by an overal stat point. So continuing past week 2 would keep the same training regine but would probably now have a week number of like 25 or something
Can we get a video on how to increase youth academy goalkeepers and young goalkeepers? I find that is a down side to fifa 21.

Wait, so does training players increase their BASE overall? Or does it just make your players “in form” and fad away wants you stop training them?
I believe it adds a temporary match boost by increasing sharpness. Like you may see plus 4 or 5 on an old player. It’s just a sharpness boost for good form/ sharpness from training and being in good form. Development plans adjust stats to grow how you want them

I think that it means that the player has achieved his max potential and can’t grow anymore
If i have the players in Youth Academy they won't grow?
Check the overall range, 50-70s are usually the highest rated players

The training system is so confusing for me it keeps changing every week and it changes the drills I had them doing it’s annoying and u can’t have the player do more then one drill like in fifa 20 idk man unless I’m wrong? Someone help?
Just sim them its not really important when they play games they also gain sharopness
Only play each drill once. It gives you the highest you achieved instead of a D when you sim

Not often and I’m not sure they get new ones with growth. Only one I have seen is a player with long throw
@@arsenalfan0417 You have to save before the scout sends his results. Then reset... and reset until you find a player with trait. The most common is player maker.

Why does it downgrade your youth players after every single season. I had a defender and a GK whose potential were 93-94 played them both the whole season but still season after they were only an "exciting talent" and they'll probably end up about 85 it's so frustrating.Anybody else having same issues?
Did they preforem well? Because if they didnt and just played that can make a player potentiol drop

Dont forget to watch out for that pesky CURVE stat padding your YA players overall stats. You dont want to have all your mids as Free Kick Experts ( whoops) . When I see a player has good potential, I now try to make sure curve and free kick accuracy are not their best attributes. Always looking for aggression and agility and balance and useful stats instead.
Shame players don't grow between 15-18 but hopefully next year.
I love how EA gives out keys to all the youtubers who slander their games and use mods that make their terrible games way better... Keep up the great work

I hired a player who had a maximum 94 potential, after 5 months his maximum potential is 78. This year's youth team is complete joke
Road to glory is finally going to stop being stale, so many possibilities in how to build a dynasty and moulding players to fit the system you want to play rather than change your system due to your players capabilities.
Certainly be interesting. Though would be nice if they added another token like the 'Financial Takeover' one that is something like 'New Ground' so as you advance through the Leagues you can go from a realistic League 2 size stadium to a Premier League Stadium when you get there.
I do hope they've fixed the issue with board complaining about player wage increases when you play an RTG and go from one league to the next and you're having to update contracts to keep players happy without fear the board is going to sack you for giving them the appropriate increase.

Player growth is ridiculous as always. Too many players above 85. They should rarely reach 90. You can grow the worst player in the game to 90+.
What's the best way for doing that? Say I have Ollie Watkins who has 84 potential i believe how would I go about getting him up to 90 if at all possible? Is it just good form in games or mostly training?
