I've been doing an AFC Liverpool save through Create-a-Club with exclusively British youth prospects and former Liverpool/Everton players. Currently trying to get out of League One before my captain Jack Rodwell retires
I did one with Brighton where I sold some of my best players if I didn't finish in Europe. It's really weird having a 90 rated player not in a European competition
What I do is, if the best in the team is 72, I set a limit of 75 rated players on the team, and I can only bring in 70 rated or below to the team until I win a trophy, then I go up 2-3 OVR on both limitations
And if any player reaches 75+ before the winter transfer window, I have to sell him/them, if they reach 75 after, I have to sell them for the next window and so on
I'm doing a Sheffield Wednesday RTG on 23 and Liverpool on fifa 17 Wednesday up to the Premier league Liverpool on 17 is my fun save I brought in bonucci, pepe reina and lampard from NYCFC in a player manager role also bring in older players for fun and squad depth
Here’s what I’ve done with Harrogate: Only use half the transfer budget as the £2m your given at that level is unrealistic Focus on signing free agents in the bottom two tiers. Give myself a youth intake day and only have one star judgement scouts until I get to the Championship Sell players to higher reputation leagues when I get a decent offer - good way to generate increased transfer funds After four seasons, I’m currently fighting for promotion from league 1 having won promotion from league 2 via the play offs. I have thoroughly enjoyed it
i'm doing a Shalke 04 save, and my biggest suggestion is to reach the society's goals. in the first season with Shalke there weren't a lot of good players and in fact we got relegated (currently it's realistic because yesterday Shalke was actually relegated). if i hadn't reached the society goals, probably i would have been fired. anyways, then we spent a couple of years in Bundesliga 2 and then we got promoted, and after a couple of season i Bundesliga we managed to win the Europa League, the second ever in Shalke's history.
One thing I always try to find out is the ethnic diversity of the city or region the club is based in. Then I send youth scouts to the corresponding countries. The length of the scouting missions Depend on ethnic percentages. The main population’s country can be scouted for 9 months, maybe even reserving 1 scout for that country throughout the entire save. Less common ethnic groups can have their corresponding countries scouted for 3 months, and if percentages are really small, sending a scout to that country just once for the entire save. Then, in the story I make for the save, I can say that every youth was born locally. I’m fascinated by this because Jock Stein at Glasgow Celtic in 1967 won the European Championship with players all of whom were born within 30 miles of the east end of Glasgow.
Also fun is a manager career mode where you have to switch team every year (or every 2 years). So start with a club in Australia or something, move to Asia, low ranked European league and build your way up to champions league level.
Fun video idea you should do a video looking at teams that got relegated and rating how fun they’d be to rebuild you’d have to wait for all the leagues to end but I think Hertha Berlin would be interesting and Leicester seeing as they won the prem in the recent history but if you want some smaller ones Gronigen just went down after 23 years in the eredivsie and maybe Aalborg in Denmark they’re a historic club there with recent success and they might go down
"can be a bit overpowered" My YA player who I've been starting a few games and loaned him out twice for the past 6 seasons who has 99 potential, having raised from 58 ovr to 59 ovr, even with the best development plan:
Im currently doing a Created Club RTG. Its name is Lichfield United FC. A small town i found on google maps. I havent found anything about them yet but I think they have a football club but they dont have much info about that. I spinned a wheel to choose my budget and objectives and league. I start in League One. 2.5 Star team. I have to sign 4 Academy players. Avoid relegation and sign 1 $2M player in the winter transfer window. Im currently making rules for the club to make it realistic so wish me luck :)
I decided to do a save where I start in the worst league possible which is def china and then after one season I go to a new league nearby or slightly better and then continue until I’m in a big league where I stay a couple of years
I’m creating my 2 buddies and I and doing a youth academy save with the relegated hartlepool. Then I’m doing a relegates hertha berlin save. Biggest city in Germany needs better representation!
Make a new club with 0.5 stars in the efl league 2. Try to get in efl league 1 then efl champs so on. You can't sign any player from an another club. If you want to sign a GK form Chelsea who is french you cant do it because you did not choose france.thats right you have to select a country to sign players from another clubs. (You can still choose a player from not the country you choosed from if its a free agent). Second you simulate all the matches 'cause you can beat Liverpool with a 0.5 star team easily if you dont simulate.

Yep, what I kind of dislike how easily players grow in overall. Cause I hate selling my favourite players :D

Also because we’re a club on the rise and a ‘small club’ it makes it more realistic

For me personaly realisam makes career mods more fun and a little bit harder
