Michael, just wanted to thank you for all the awesome tutorial videos you put out. I have learned a tremendous amount from them. I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out why I couldn't add shadow/stroke/glow to a media source I had in a scene. At 6:40 you answered my problem...I had a feeling that the shadow was actually there and I just couldn't see it but I would never have figured out the answer was to pad the size of the borders so it had some place to appear. Thanks again! I have subbed long ago and I click Like on every one of your videos that I watch.
Ya know, I watched someone else's video about this plugin over and over again. But, I just couldn't get it to work. After see yours...NO PROBLEM! It is simply letting me know that not everyone giving tutorials are good teachers. Thanks so much! ♥
Thanks Michael. I am going to use this. I want the Nivida background remover. The one I have is terrible. You can see me use it in the last video I did and there is a gap around my head when it moves. Do you have a video for that?
The obs onboard chroma key is very good.. I tried some of those remover plugins and they do not seem to work that well. I stick with the in program chromakey .
I am from Europe. I'll try to catch on your live stream. I've already asked you something under your obs->zoom video for Windows. The NDI installation, as well as the links provided, seem to be out of date. The whole install process is a mess. Maybe you have an update on how to do that, where to get the files best? (obs-ndi-plugin + ndi runtime + ndi tools)

Question for you... is there a way to do animated glow (or spectralizer type voice effect) but have obs detect a pixel move (zoom participant speaking) and have it animate based on if that pixel is changed? I'm trying to do voice spectralizer based on the audio of multiple speakers in a zoom or discord call?)
Actually yes. I saw a plug-in that will read segments of the screen and change views based on that segment. I just don’t remember what’s it was called.
I like the Glow makes you turn into the Ready Brek kid...lol. when using all these filters won't it slow things down and up the cpu drain? Can they be flattened to single layers to use less processing?
I want to start a Commentary Stream with my Wife as a hobby. We have a Rodecaster Pro 2 and echt of us has one Mic-Channel... is it possible to have that glow linked to our avatars? For OBS each Mic channel is views as one audio.
I have i5 laptop with intel hd 5500 graphics I get fuzzy text on all my screen recording in obs studio using x264 is there any solution for this thanks

I found a couple of drop shadow images with nicer drop shadows then this shadow plugin can make.

can i monitor the output of obs while reecording mainly volume of mics etc.....
wish you could do a Mac version setup walk-through, it would help with the length of your video (more $$$) as of 1/11/2025 not working on Mac M2
