Hello and Welcome to Episode 180 of the World's First Paul Weller Fan Podcast...

Never getting to interview my hero... the legendary singer-songwriter and musician - Paul Weller...
This podcast exists purely to solve that issue...

this isn't an interview, it's a quality conversation, absolute respect to you Dan, keep pinching yourself, KTF

Well said
Wellers been part of my life since around 91 when a 13year old first found a dusty beat up record called SNAP in someone’s collection, thought these fellas look a bit different on the sleeve , had a listen, recognised a few songs and hooked for life , been a fan of his whole career ever since . By far the best “interview” if we want call it that I’ve heard Paul do . Well done for putting this toghther have a few more of these to listen to now !
Half way through and took a break just to say how brilliant this is.
My constant throughout my life has been Paul Weller and his music and I honestly feel blessed to have been around to be able to appreciate him
Paul Weller is just brilliant, he stood out for me as a teen so much! The Jam were totally unique and genius in truth, TSC were odd but sometimes brilliant and his solo stuff is mixed but fascinating and he just so unique, so cool and seems a lot happier these days?? Wish his melody was better? Love him though, Bruce Foxton is a genius too. Fast Car Slow Traffic - still got it.
It flows so naturally, like a relaxed conservation between old mates, which is testament to both men. Lots of laughs, loved it. Well done everyone involved 👏👏👏👌🎯
It's hard to imagine a life lived without Paul Weller's music, right from The Jam ('77) until today, through the highs and the lows, he has been like a solid bond soul brother - and will remain so.
I've met him quite a few times and he is like no other 'star' I have ever met. Wherever his journey has been at the time, Jam, SC, PWE his ability to engage with fans is extraordinary.
My Mod question to Paul:
"You're jetting off to the Dam for the weekend, bit of mooching about, bit of dining, maybe a club ~ what clothes would you take?"
Hit the nail on the head there, music would be shite without him
Brilliant chat with the man himself. The best Weller interview I have ever heard.
The way he feels about The Beatles is the way i feel about The Jam / Style Council / solo stuff ,,he has soundtracked my life from Going Underground back in 1980 right up to Fat Pop in 2021
22 Dreams remains my favourite album
Incredible stuff Dan. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Paul so relaxed. That’s testament to all the hard work/research and genuine love you have for him and his music.
Top stuff mate 👏👏👏😎
Unbelievable that you made it! Cheers for such a fantastic show, Dan
Probably the best in depth comfortable interview with Paul I’ve ever heard congratulations it’s took awhile but was worth it well done
Great job Dan. Lovely end to a fabulous series.
This was brilliant..very relaxed & natural.
Paul Weller is one of the greatest songwriters Britain has ever produced.
His body of work is up there with any artist..respect ✌🏾
Well done, Paul's clearly getting the benefit of laying off the sauce! #serenity #odaat :)
I’ve followed Paul’s music since I was 10 years old in 1979, probably the best interview (more of a conversation) I’ve heard, top man , fantastic Dan , really great pod cast
That's the most interesting Weller interview I've heard.Loved these podcasts.Well played.
Bless you again Dan. A real honest interviewer
Absolutely brilliant, Dan, thank you! As others have said, that's the best Paul Weller interview I've ever heard. The whole concept of the podcast is just amazing and the body of 'work' you've produced is exceptional. Huge thanks.

Wow - I've been a Weller fan since 1982 and without a doubt, this is the most revealing Weller interview I've ever heard.
Well done. Paul can be cagey at times with interviews but he really opened up for this chat - i suspect because he recognized the interviewer knew what he was talking about!
I can't wait to see Paul play this weekend in Tokyo...
Love Modern World …. That’s natural Talent . Life from a window . London Traffic . Tonight at Noon . I need you .
Brilliant Interview . Definitive .
Amazing stuff, Dan - I'm so happy that you finally managed to achieve your goal! Thank you for all of the great insights into this great artist's life and music.
The most unguarded I've heard Weller.
What a wonderful interview ❤
This is a great interview Dan and the culmination of 3 years work, well done 👌Paul is very open with you and the reason for that is because he recognises you as a big fan and very knowledgeable about his work, fantastic 👏
Well done Dan…. Best Weller interview ever! 👏👏👏
''I'm good at being me'' what a brilliant quote !!
Nice one Dan, great interview...
Quite enjoyable. Don't think I remember him ever being in conversation for that length of time before.
Such a brilliant series Dan , loved every conversation
Great interview. You really brought out the best in him. Well done.

Thats the best weller interview ive ever listened to, brilliant mate , well done.
Well done brother. You kept the faith! ❤
The pod cast has been amazing and this is the best weller interview ever I think paul feels so humble to be where he is
What an unbelievable journey Dan. You've been a great interviewer throughout this, drawing out fantastic detail from people. The build-up to this eventual inevitable interview with the man himself must've been huge, but by the time you made it to Black Barn, you were so deserving to be there, and you absolutely smashed it, and got one of the best-ever interviews with PW. Probably that thing he was saying about trust with the music press - you got the best out of him, because you had his trust, which won't have come easy. Looking forward to seeing what you (Dan) do next.
I got so into listening to this that I landed up listening to it till gone past 02:00am. I was completely riveted. I found myself in that bubble that was discussed in the interview. Brilliant interview to end on Dan, look forward to hearing more from you soon hopefully. Thanks for this great podcast series. You absolutely smashed it.
Thanks Paul for the last 41 years (for me!) and this is without doubt the best interview I’ve heard in all that time. Fabulous, thanks Dan!!!!
What a top man! Fan since I was 13, now 56. He's always been there. Just got a ticket to see him in April, my fourth gig and cannot wait! Forever Weller ❤
Brilliant idea for a series. I've only just come across it but I'm going to go back over the earlier episodes. Well done.
Been a fan since 1979...listened to and watched many, many interviews with him. This without doubt, is the best interview with Paul Welller that I have ever heard. Thank you so much. It was definitely worth the wait!
