Wellers been part of my life since around 91 when a 13year old first found a dusty beat up record called SNAP in someone’s collection, thought these fellas look a bit different on the sleeve , had a listen, recognised a few songs and hooked for life , been a fan of his whole career ever since . By far the best “interview” if we want call it that I’ve heard Paul do . Well done for putting this toghther have a few more of these to listen to now !

Half way through and took a break just to say how brilliant this is.
My constant throughout my life has been Paul Weller and his music and I honestly feel blessed to have been around to be able to appreciate him

Paul Weller is just brilliant, he stood out for me as a teen so much! The Jam were totally unique and genius in truth, TSC were odd but sometimes brilliant and his solo stuff is mixed but fascinating and he just so unique, so cool and seems a lot happier these days?? Wish his melody was better? Love him though, Bruce Foxton is a genius too. Fast Car Slow Traffic - still got it.

It flows so naturally, like a relaxed conservation between old mates, which is testament to both men. Lots of laughs, loved it. Well done everyone involved 👏👏👏👌🎯

It's hard to imagine a life lived without Paul Weller's music, right from The Jam ('77) until today, through the highs and the lows, he has been like a solid bond soul brother - and will remain so.
I've met him quite a few times and he is like no other 'star' I have ever met. Wherever his journey has been at the time, Jam, SC, PWE his ability to engage with fans is extraordinary.
    My Mod question to Paul:
"You're jetting off to the Dam for the weekend, bit of mooching about, bit of dining, maybe a club ~ what clothes would you take?"

The way he feels about The Beatles is the way i feel about The Jam / Style Council / solo stuff ,,he has soundtracked my life from Going Underground back in 1980 right up to Fat Pop in 2021

Wow - I've been a Weller fan since 1982 and without a doubt, this is the most revealing Weller interview I've ever heard.
Well done. Paul can be cagey at times with interviews but he really opened up for this chat - i suspect because he recognized the interviewer knew what he was talking about!
I can't wait to see Paul play this weekend in Tokyo...

What an unbelievable journey Dan. You've been a great interviewer throughout this, drawing out fantastic detail from people. The build-up to this eventual inevitable interview with the man himself must've been huge, but by the time you made it to Black Barn, you were so deserving to be there, and you absolutely smashed it, and got one of the best-ever interviews with PW. Probably that thing he was saying about trust with the music press - you got the best out of him, because you had his trust, which won't have come easy. Looking forward to seeing what you (Dan) do next.
