Paul is one of the greatest artists of all time, the album is absolute perfection
Totally agree. I've been a fan since In the City and seen him many times. This album is just brilliant. Love it 🥰
Weller is a genius. A down to earth star who has stood by his principles and his direction. Without doubt one of the greatest and most influential musicians of all time. Another superb album, ever evolving.
What a brilliant singer/songwriter/performer. Excellent interviewer too 👍
Always Progressive and developing amazing things. Bravo Paul Weller, true modernist and SoulMan.
Like a fine wine his voice definitely gets better, don't know why people would comment that this isn't up to scratch. The songs I've listened to (about half of em) are quality well crafted tunes.
Dont care what anyone says i love him .....im sure he doesn't give a flying frig about any negative comments
another Weller masterpiece
Great and insightful interview. A pleasure to listen to the matured PW, who actually takes his time to deliver honest answers. Absolute great album btw.
It’s amazing just love Paul Weller❤
Brilliant album. 🎉🎉🎉
Love this album
Incredible album 🔥🔥🔥
It's great that people can see what a thoughtful and dapper man Wilfred Brambell is away from the Steptoe role.
Top top interview
Great songwriter and a nice guy
The elderly Crooner striks again. Super
Jumble Queen definitely about Noel’s recent divorce!😂 great lyrics!
I’ve not got a clue who this dj guy,is, but he seems quite insightful.
Whimsical.
Why is PW not knighted ? Great review nice work Radio X
He Probably wouldn't except it 😂
@@richardmead2791 He was offered one, but refused it
Barrel of laughs isn't he.
He is just being Weller, apparently he does have a great sense of humour!!
I thought he was quite cheerful here for Paul.
Will we ever be free of Abba...? :0/
Maybe not but like football it’s all about opinions I think it’s more than decent
I find it very hard to believe that The Jam weren’t as controlled by the Tavistock Institute as so many peer groups and soloists were.
You’re simply not tolerated, using your musical pulpit to awaken & warn your audience.
Given that backdrop, I’m holding a neutral stance towards Paul Weller at the moment.
As a formerly huge fan of Oasis, I no longer feel well disposed to the band.
Interviewers must cringe when they know they've got to interview Weller. He's so difficult to engage with. He needs to remember that he's there to promote his album. He's not been invited at their request because they really really want to talk to him. I say this as a fan from the 70s onwards. As for the album . . . TBH I've fallen out of love with his last few. A couple of nice tracks but the rest are just fillers.
As much as I like Paul Weller this latest LP doesnt really do anything for me:-(
If im Rick Butler(for whom i have more than a little sympathy) and i chance to listen to this insipid tripe, i would feel the urge to issue an unreserved apology, for offering weller a springboard for his subsequent career. I bought every album the jam released as a young man but looking back i dont think any of those records stand the test of time too well save for setting sons possibly. Weller recently criticised young artists for their musical output, advocating presumably the mantra" chuck enough shyt at the miiddin wall and pray some sticks" sounds from the street and funeral pyre are the only 2 songs that have stayed the course for me. The first has a raw urgency that captures brilliantly the feelings of teenage excitement, the second has a undercurrent of foreboding and menace.
You aren't and have never been a Jam fan. Go troll elsewhere
Not his finest work by some distance
I agree, One of his poorest I think.
@@paulikens6443 was excited about it too. There’s a couple of decent ones on there but it won’t make the playlist
@@BillyHayes79Music Same here.
but definitely not his worst. It’s a slow burner that is growing on me
@@grahamlofthouse8063 lyrics are awful
By his amazing standards pretty poor album, ship of fools just awful.
Hugely disappointing album.
Had to turn it off, interviewer not up to scratch mate
