    Hi Zdenek Jan Blabla, Hans, Hans Alpine,
    I'm from the UK and wanted to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for everything you do. Time, as we both know, is our most precious commodity, and you have chosen to share so much of yours with the world-freely and selflessly. Through your podcasts, you don’t just give us your time; you gift us with your vast knowledge and insights, which is truly invaluable.
    There is no parallel to you. What you do is completely unique. In a world saturated with noise, you stand apart, and your work, especially in giving back to dogs what humanity has taken from them over centuries of selective breeding, is nothing short of remarkable. No one else has attempted, let alone achieved, what you have, and it’s truly commendable. The knowledge and understanding you’ve brought back to our four-legged companions is a gift, not just to them, but to all of us who value the bond between humans and dogs.
    Your dedication and commitment, not only to the well-being of dogs but to the betterment of the world through your openness in sharing your life’s hard-earned wisdom, is something that commands immense respect. You discuss topics with the authority of someone who has lived and learned through experience, and that’s a rare and powerful gift. Your voice is a guiding light in a landscape often muddled by misinformation and cynicism.
    I also want to acknowledge how hard it must be to continue doing what you do, especially when facing so many detractors. It’s easy to be misunderstood or judged, and yet, despite the haters and the constant noise, you press on. For that, I have the utmost respect for your resilience and strength.
    I also recognize not only the incredible work you do but also the exceptional pedigree you bring to the table. Your expertise and background are second to none. It’s clear that your wealth of knowledge, experience, and understanding in your field set you apart from everyone else. The depth and breadth of what you’ve accomplished speak to a lifetime of dedication and passion, which is truly inspiring.
    Thank you for being such a unique and irreplaceable voice, and for sharing your unmatched pedigree with the world.
    Thank you, Hans, for all that you do-for the dogs, for the world, and for people like me who are fortunate enough to learn from your insights.
    With great respect and gratitude

    I agree with Hans. I had same experience with rats. I was professional rat breeder and I fed them most close natural, how it was possible. No like others breeders and what pet shops were offering. And trust me - cancer and others diseases were almost vanished from my animals and their life span became from 2 or 2.5 years into life span 3 - 4 years. Just change of diet and I refused to overfeed them. I became author of book about rats and I gave exactly same informations there. Hans is professional in dog training but not just about training - in all others fields of keeping dog. Those informations are very important. 👌🏻 Especially for breeders.

    Great video, the U.S. dried, granulated dog food connection to hip dysplasia and stomach flipping makes a lot of sense. My parents were both raised on farms in Ireland and had dogs. They could never figure out the American approach to dog food. An aside about wakame: There are different “grades” of wakame, some are certainly cheaper (less expensive”) than others, but you’re getting ripped off if a 36 oz. bag costs $75. This is coming from a guy who lives in NYC and eats wakame, regularly.

    I feed my dogs raw food: beef, chicken, turkey and some times pork. I mainly give them muscle, bone and organs. They have fish, egg and lard few times a week. I also give them fruit, rice, bread, pasta or corn tortilla. Some times they get potato or sweet potato instead. They are very healthy dogs.

    Yes 👍 its good to fast the dog a day periodically without food. Good for people as well. Give the dogs soft ribs or softer bones sometimes too instead of the normal meal.

    I have recently lost my 14 year old GSD, who I successfully fed raw food from my local butcher. I have purchased your video on feeding puppies raw (I have a new 3 month old GSD). My question is about vitamins and minerals, should a puppy be supplemented with extra vitamins while she is growing?

      @@hans-alpinek9real this is so interesting as I was told by vets and pet stores that feeding raw isn’t good for pups. I fed her raw this morning, she loved it! On the hunt for chicken feet now!

    Hi Hans, i' m from germany and i want thank you for all your great podcasts and videos, seen them all. I tell everbody here about them but to share is difficult because they dont understand it. I do have a wonderful german sheperd, but she's got EPI and i have to feed her expensive enzyms , feed her at least 3x and no raw food. What would you feed?
    Thanks from Martina and Bella

    • @lukeryuzaki2328
      @lukeryuzaki2328 Месяц назад +2

      I am not scientist, vet. Just nobody. But when you look into EPI, you should run into what is known as the first experiment and research on EPI by Claude Bernard . In which they do surgery to remove dogs' own pancreas to mimic the condition in dogs with EPI, while feeding dog raw pig's pancreas!!! So the enzyme supplement for dog with EPI comes from other animals organs.
      I can't give you advice, but if you connect the dots, you should have the idea where to start by now.

    About the part about your dying tree with the leftover bag of dog food, I think it's the issue with antibiotic which of course killing enzyme, beneficial microbe.
    Industrial dog food is just one small part of the rabbit hole regarding issue with food. There is a reason AR come after dog, pets, livestock while also promoting veganism. In areas with harsh climate and short growing season, it's more efficient and productive to let grass and weed grow, then feed them to livestock than trying grow crops. They had been trying to take away people freedom by turning many culture from livestock raising into crop growing. Crop growing would be easily controlled by the government and manipulated because storage can be easily be destroyed. With livestock, you can move them, even in area that is difficult to navigate. Only slaughter to supply when there is real demand.

    I’ve had a few gsd’s, always ate just kibble. They both lasted 14-15 yrs. Life span of a gsd is 11 yrs. Most gsd’s don’t make it to 14-15 yrs. Ppl talk about raw being better but their gsd’s don’t let as long as mine do and they get hip and joint issues that my dogs don’t get. I believe what I see with my own eyes and from experience. Go raw feed a gsd and have it live past 15 and than I’ll consider what you say.

    • @lukeryuzaki2328
      @lukeryuzaki2328 Месяц назад

      You have a high opinion of yourself for a nobody. What can you pay if I can readily show you multiple GSDs that on raw diet live for 15+ years without joint issue?
      You can't get your fact straight in the first two sentences. First sentence mentioned "a few". Next sentence "both". Your expert's opinion is an apologetic excuse made by dog food companies to normalize premature death of GSDs. Also the term average means there are plenty of instances that go beyond the average that is held back by the early deaths. Many GSDs (and mixes that labeled as GSDs by vets) got put down as early as months old, one year old. What do all that mean? It meant you're dumb enough to accept manipulated lower standard (lower average age), and feel accomplished just because you're above the average. Anyone who keeps GSD and not living under a rock would know at least a handful of GSDs living 15+ years.
      Nobody are trying to change your mind. Get off your high horse, and get lost.

    • @jw-vx8im
      @jw-vx8im Месяц назад +3

      I've seen gsd live that long on raw. It does happen just like your did with kibble. You probably had superior genetics and a good environment.
      One case of success does not constitute cause and effect

    • @lukeryuzaki2328
      @lukeryuzaki2328 Месяц назад +4

      @@jw-vx8im The issue with that guy is that he doesn't even understand what average really mean. It can both mean that there are many that live above the average age and many die young and much younger even. In this case, the world is dominated by kibble feeding. The data in itself exposes kibble issue.
      He exposed himself as someone who are totally out of touch. Anyone who own multiple GSDs would know that it's not rare for well bred GSDs to live 14+ years old, especially in the circle that feed raw diet.

    • @Spartacus4281
      @Spartacus4281 Месяц назад +1

      @@jw-vx8im it wasn’t superior genetics. all my dogs have lived long lives regardless of breed. I’m almost 50. Had them all my life. Some dogs fed raw last long and some don’t. My point is that it seems to be the same thing either way. I believe the best diet is a combination of both to ensure they get what they need just like humans. We take vitamins and supplements to compliment our diets because it’s really hard to get it all in withought it. I feel the same with the dogs. Dogs have never just eaten raw, even wolves eat a lot of berries ect to supplement their own diets. From wolves eating fruits and veggies found in the wild for forever and dogs eating table scraps ect obviously dogs do best with a mix of both just like we do.
