How was the fan noise?

In the normal modes totally fine, in the 300w mode it can get loud

Yes it does, the 300w is pretty bad, the 200w is very manageable unless you are in a super small room with the mic close to the light itself

can't you compensate the motion angle with sliding a tiny bit up/down on the C-stand? or is it not accurate enough?

You can and that’s what we did, BUT although it adds a small extra time to do so, every time we have to adjust the light we had to do that which just adds more time to the day overall.
