I just got the pr1055x. She’s my first multi needle. Got it from Allbrands in San Antonio. The lovely ladies there are fantastic! I’m new to embroidery. Can’t wait to start classes in the new year!
I'm reluctant not to back the fabric prior to cutting. It's better to cut the fabric and Heat-n-Bond all at once and the HMB further stabilizes the fabric to make a cleaner cut. Paper side up...always.
Yes, that's the camera system that uses the snowball technology. They started that with the Dream version of the machines. I have a Quattro with 2 upgrades down at the coast and those upgrades essentially made it a Dream machine. I love the snowman! It fixes all my hooping boo-boos! lol
I received my seam ripper a few weeks ago! I received it so fast! I love it so much!! Extremely good quality and weight! I don’t know how I ever managed without it! 💕💕💕💕💕💕 thank you and god bless you and your husband!
Hi from Fort Wayne American Sewing Guild ! We loved chatting with you earlier. So happy to bring a little bit of Texas to the Midwest. I’ve talked with a couple of our girls who watched you for the first time .... you’ve got some new converts. Thanks for making sewing, quilting, and embroidery fun ... and doable! You and Keith rock!
Thanks, Becky, Like everything about your tutorials and appreciate that you have a supportive husband. My seam ripper arrives today and the spool ornament, too! Thank you so much!! Merry Christmas and enjoy a few days of time off. Blessings, always.
You are really having fun with Spanky. I love my 10 needle, so many things to create, just not enough time. Love all the new stuff on the new machine, but maybe in a couple of years I will trade mine in for A NEW MODEL, who knows. I would love to see the finished product, what fun. I hope you and Keith have a wonderful holiday season, and thank you for all your videos and your husbands wonderful handiwork, I love my seam ripper combos. NOW tell Keith to get busy getting your thread storage ideas going, I AM WAITING , I need help !!! By the way Thank You for your hints on the Thumbnailer, it worked, you are wonderful.
I have the Luminaire XP2 with the same stitch monitoring and quilting abilities and it’s great. Even though it’s a single needle I can still go around the house and know when I need to get back to my machine. Brother has some great app integration.
Loved the howl-lelujah quilt Becky...the quilted music notes were a fabulous idea ....loved watching Spanky. I learn so much from you..you are so clever 😘💐
Hi, I was wondering which Kimberbell kit comes with the pattern for the snowflake mug rug? Thanks, I sure enjoy your video's. By the way, the Fort Wayne you were on, was that Fort Wayne Indiana? I live in Granger Indiana which is about an hour and a half north west of Fort Wayne.
Could you link us to the Christmas tree quilt you cut on your scan and cut. Please and thank you! I love your videos! They help me so so much. I’m going to make Christmas quilts for my kids and I’m short one pattern. I’m also going to start making dbjj cell phone purse you demonstrated .
I looked for the pattern on Bunny Hill's website but I can't find it any longer. Darn! I had linked to it during the Virtual Quilt Festival and I think they must have sold out. Sorry!
Hi, Love your shows. You spoke about the Scan N Cut today. Is there a big enough upgrade to the Disney limited edition machine to get it? I don't care anything about the Disney designs I just want to know if all those goodies that come with the limited one are worth spending the extra money on. Or will I be just as happy with the one that has the F on it. Thank you
Totally a personal decision, but I think if you only get the F bundle, you'll still want a scanning mat (the non-stick one with the clear flap) and a standard tack mat.
Hi Becky! Loved the All Brands show! Will you be doing tutorials on the 10 needle? I'm going to do Merry and Bright, or another tile scene on mine and would love to see you and Spanky in action too! Great job on your quilts!
Both of your quilts are beautiful Becky! I have an older cut & scan but never could figure it out, might have to get it out of the box and give it another try. Thanks for all you do!!! Merry Christmas :)
Just as a matter of interest my Pfaff Creative Icon let’s you go around the house and work and tells you when it is finished with SewNotice via messages on your phone.
Have watched a couple of your videos but I must be honest and say you’re far too technical in my opinion. All the joy of making a quilt or other items is taken away for me.
Using all those machines makes it more like a manufacturing operation. Every bit of the process of hand-making a quilt is so satisfying to me, I prefer complicated projects to prolong the enjoyment of my craft. Why would I want to just sit and watch a machine do it? And when I consider the cost of those machines, I just think of how much FABRIC I could buy instead!
I hear you.... and I too love a completely hand sewn quilt... it’s just not practical for most. Don’t let that stop you from creating one of a kind quilts.... you are among a vanishing breed. The rest of us get to finish a project in our lifetime and move on to the next creation.....
Quilt turned out great!

Yay!! That's awesome!!
The fabric mat and fabric blade for the DX/SDX machines is brilliant for cutting fabric without any iron on backing.

Becky, is your new Brother a hoop once machine? Even if your fabric is crooked, the machine can adjust it straight.

Glad to be of help! We're still kicking around ideas for thread storage for the new sewing space. Time will tell!

Yes! Love that they integrated the Stitch Monitor app with the Luminaire XP 2 upgrade! Sew liberating! lol

@@PowerToolsWithThread Thank you that is a big help. I didn't realize that the F bundle didn't come with those items.

can we see the finished embroidery??
When it's all done, I'll do a show and tell. :-)
Wow.
I wish I could afford a scan and cut. Two strokes and disability fixed income and it isn’t possible.
You do great videos. Thank you.
I pray you get one, gifted or however! Blessings!
@@judisewnsew6514 Thank you so much. That was very sweet.
It’s great to see the app in action as I just upgraded my XP1. I got my upgrades from Allbrands Houston.
That's a nice Villa Rosa Design pattern. Your quilt top looks gorgeous. The Howl-Lelujah embroidery project is sew cute! See you next time.

Would have liked to seen finished embroidery block on "Spanky".
Great idea! I'll do a show and tell when it's finished.

Did you pick a winner for the Kimberbell 2020 box?
Yes! It was Janet Bradford. :-)

I liked it so much I bought one. Haven't started anything yet but plan on doing mug rug first.
Love your channel, but the music in the start is so loud that is my husband is asleep he sits straight in bed before I can mute
THAT Quilt is Gorgeous. Becky are you Quilting 😳 on your 10 needle?
Hi Teresa, why yes...yes I am! Or at least I'm trying to. lol Lots to learn!
Hello, why when I make a drawing and the machine starts embroidering, the pieces of the drawing do not fit well, what should I do?, thank you.
