I watched walkthroughs and reactions to FF7R but one thing you’re: feel again like a child. The first time I played FF7 was in my 10th Birthday. Is very emotional really to remember all this in the remake. I can’t wait to he next part. Pdta: FFXV is great and i liked much for the music like other FF games✌🏻😌🎶✌🏻
FF7 fans cry their eyes out when Zack dies. They cry their eyes out when see that Zack might be still alive. Truth is, show a bit of Zack to FF7 fans and they start to cry. There is something about that guy that makes everyone like him. :)
this remake will complement and enrich the history of the classic game, change the order of some events ahead and add much more.these unpublished passages of Zack and to complete the events of the Crisis core, in the end the place where cloud, aerith and the others are is the place where zack died, there past and present crossed for a moment ....., and as if the two times were happening together in some moments.

I understand completely when you said, "I'm not crying about the ending, I'm sad because I beat it." Beating a game you love from start to finish leaves you feeling hollow afterwards.
Oh my god i can relate to this so much... it's why i have a problem with finishing games i like... i am afraid of saying goodbye to my favourite characters.
I don't look at the remake as having finished, I look at it as having ended the beginning. The escape from Midgar is pulling the curtain up on the entire story. So in my mind there's nothing to be sad about. Idk maybe except for Jessie.
Reminds me when I beat my first ever Final Fantasy, part 6. When the word "the end" popped up and the prelude started playing with the stars shooting behind the words, I felt empty and sad that such an amazing adventure had come to a close.
I think it was super clever of them to show the scene with Zack's famous quotes and then later "Wait, is that all of em?" cause anybody that knows Crisis Core instantly loses their shit 😭
1:28:25 really hit home. Final Fantasy games have always been a game I played at friends houses when I was young. My family couldn't afford consoles. One of those friends has passed away and I'm sure he would have loved this. I'm thankful for this era where strangers can hang out online and enjoy a beautiful piece of art together So keep up the genuine content!

Wow, your response after beating the game.... Makes me proud as a long time lover of FF7, to see someone have such emotion toward a game that I shared similar feelings of now, and over 20 years ago first time I beat the original!
Well, I do not mean to be a party pooper or anything "but" I casually claim myself to suffer from Post FF VII Remake Depression. I am very torn on the game and while it can be summarised to be the ending I refrain from saying that I am a "long time lover" a "true fan" or "hardcore" even if I consider myself one (I even liked DoC back in the days, something most people do not speak of at all). There is so much hate on people with criticism and the "true fan" card gets played from both sides all the time. The OG meant a lot to me because it was brutal but this game is a feel-good version and that makes me very conflicted. The remake has so much to love but I cannot win over my fear and distaste of the Fate stuff but I would be happy if I could. I am not happy that we can have crazy things like 2 Sephiroths, time travel and Zack joining the party (what made him a great hero was the heroic death) or other wish and while I do have my own wish (like fighting original Jenova as Cetras or even WEAPON) I think that people are just putting more pressure on the developers and above all expect too much so the hype might be over the top next time. The game just like the OG is not perfect but saying anything bad about the new is taboo and that only makes me fear the community and everyone claiming to be fans. Yet I write comments -_-.
My friend, when u started crying....it got me right in the feels. It reminded me that we all have our own final fantasy stories and we've all invested so much more than just time, into this game. My story is much to long to explain here, but thank you for reminding me that this game is so much more than a game. Keep doing you!

I came here after finishing ff7 remake to see if anyone had the same reaction as me when they saw zack. you nailed it. i played crisis core on the psp multiple times since it was the only game i had at the time. i got so attached to zack because of how admirable he was. he was the literal definition of a hero, it was so unjust that he died the way he did and this remake made me have alot of hope. Zack was the best protagonist and he deserves this so much. those cheesy voice lines he had that were so corny but you believed everything he said. i miss him man and i cant wait till the next one
You are such a cinnamon roll! This is an emotional game for a lot of people and it's always great to see someone have a real and visceral emotional reaction to the big reveals.
When those drums kick on the Crisis core OsT when Zacks flash back passes by AERITH my fuckin body was covered in goosebumps and I started shaking. I love your passion for the game and that we share it I teared up watching you sob cause I FELT THAT.
I'm praying that we see Zack in part 2 because I'm sure we can agree Zack is the true hero of the story because without him cloud wouldn't be here he truly was the unsung hero of this world.
It would be amazing if the sequel starts up like the first game, with the Bombing Run, but instead of Cloud on the train it is Zack. We would see scenes from this alternate timeline, where Zack survived and was the one to help out Avalanche. Cloud would be is a fugue state, and Zack/Tifa would be taking care of him. The game would periodically cut to this alternate timeline (like every 4 chapters we would check in on Zack), so it would be sort of like how Laguna was used in FF8. This could be a way for them to keep using the Midgar assets, and keep the city apart of the sequels, since if they follow the original story we won't see Midgar again for a long time.
The key scene, is The Last Fight with sephiroth in FF7 Remake when he call meteor. 1. Defeat sephiroth FF7remake (meteor scene) is mean "FF7adventchildren" destroyed, FF7 Original Story change/rewrite. The story is : zack and aerith alive, Next chapter : Tifa die(meteor scene), Barret(sephiroth stab), Biggs/jessie(battle in sector). 2. Not defeat sephiroth FF7remake (meteor scene), is mean FF7 Story stick in "advent children". The story is : FF7 Crisis core, Original, Advent children. zack and aerith die - barret/tifa/jessie/biggs alive 7 Second enough for cloud, please choose option no 1 or 2. "be careful now... cloud" - Sephiroth

I'm sure Zack and Aerith on Zack's timeline will take care of Cloud, because remember, Zack's timeline will not lag like on Cloud's (months being in the train station) and the Cloud here will be a no-memory-problem one. Zack will then try to find Tifa. On that note, how? Then Avalanche. How will it go? We're all sure that Zack now knowing that Aerith is a Cetra, and add to that Tseng will really be different here. I saw u the first time on Tekken match at EVO, and I thought "oh she plays real nice" and that's it. RUclips recommended me this video and now I'm crying. I've been a FFVII fan since 98 when I was 7, now I'm 28, almost 29 and this remake was literally the best thing that ever happened to me. Seeing u crying like this just makes me remember how amazing this game was and I love how people feel this way with this remake. Hope u never forget that feeling, this was a love letter to FF7 fans. Your reaction to Zack was the same as I, with a little less tears. Zack is my favorite character in the Final Fantasy franchise, and I really want to see him come back and reunite with Aerith. If they do bring him back I hope that it's in a good way.
Sephiroth was literally playing with them, and when he said "Not yet" and sits Cloud down I'm assuming he means they aren't strong enough yet. Love how emotional you got at the end there, it really shows how much it means to you.

As a fan of the original I'm excited for this sequel. This game is a sequel not a remake. The title should be Final Fantasy VII: Remake like how crisis core is Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and Advent Children is Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Remake is the title name not a description. This explains why its in the title instead of just being called Final Fantasy VII episode 1
@Dodadeus The original story was perfection because it was realistic, there was no miracle rainbow & sunshine happy ever after ending. They just did their absolute damn best to save the planet and that was the only thing what mattered to them. Beloved characters died tragically as so it does happen real life aswell, It's part of life and what made the original game one of the best stories ever written. Now suddenly all of the beloved characters we mourned are magically alive. It's like having a best friend faking his death and after 20 years being like "sike, it was just a prank".
The producer actually has already said that the plot will remain the same, but with some tweaks and twists here and there. It's great that they are following the original story and are expanding it to make it more elaborate, yet at the same time unpredictable because of the minor changes and surprises they did. This is the best thing I've seen game developers do for a remake and definitely sets a standard to how remakes can be done.
@@lYakuzal I like the idea of small things changing, but that on the grand scale it will all lead to the same outcome. It would bring home the idea that sometimes you can't completely change fate and that some things are just meant to happen.
It really is more than just a game. IMO, it’s the greatest story ever told. And, your reaction at the end of this video was beautiful in a very bittersweet, wholesome, and heartfelt way.

@Rex Wong that's how they're both gonna find their promised land i think, finally being united at once, they'll have Cetra kids and the Cetra race will come back and make plants grow on a planet which has been barren ever since they started dissappearing, Cloud's been striving to be with Aerith in the promised land for 23 years now and this remake is the perfect opportunity to make his wish come true and finally have an happy ending.
I've a bad feeling Aerith will live this time... but Cloud will die. So long as Cloud lives, Sephiroth will keep coming back thanks to the Jenova cells in his body.

Back when the original came out i recall loving it and feeling like you did, i recall when Aerith met her fate in the original i stopped cold and put down the controller. Took a week before i could continue, but i did and finished everything. I'm so glad to see that same kind of love for this game. Well done in finishing the game. I finished the game but was so overwhelmed i sat from 4pm playing the Shinra mansion and played right through till 9am the next day to finish the game. I didnt get to enjoy all the action and scenes while so involved in the game play (And being tired lol). But watching you play the end of FF7R brought alot of emotion and enjoyed it. Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game of all time. I only got PS4 just for FF7R before it came out. It is a big emotional experience and watching you reminds me the experience I had playing it through. Good luck with hard mode! Cant wait for Part2:)

I honestly have not enjoyed and been so immersed into a game since I was a kid...since I played FF7 and FF8, haha. Hands down one of the best games I've EVER played, and as someone who waited 15 years along with so many others, oh my GOD was it everything I hoped for an more.
Unfortunately we will have to wait 3 years probably for part 2. What I love about this remake is that it totally changed how the next part of FFVII will be. They showed Zack surviving in another timeline of FF7. SE better make this happen or i'll go nuts. I want to see how Aerith will react to Zack being alive and also i want him to be playable, for the love of god don't make it like OG FF7 where he's only a background character being seen in cutscenes he deserves to be more than that considering without him there would never be a Cloud, his role is higher than most of the party members.
No he doesn't have a more important role. Without him the main character wouldn't be who he is but that's just his role, being the mentor of the hero. He didn't go against Shinra and fought Weapons, Jenova and fucking Sephiroth at the heart of the planet. The fucking disrespect you're all putting on the og FF7 party is incredible. But your wish is probably going to come to life, I think Nomura or Kitase already said Zack's role would be bigger in Remake.
Just a guess but they may do a kind of FF8 twist where you can play as the other characters in a timeline. Different actions you do there will reflect on the other side. Can't wait for part 2. Still in the process of maxing out Different copies of materias and soon getting all Trophies.

In Japan,the word "I"can be expressed by two ways."俺(ore)"and "私(watashi)".Sephiroth in CCFF7 and FF7R final battle scene use "watashi",and he has used watashi since he defeated and dropped down into lifestream by Cloud. But Sephiroth use "ore" in FF7,FF7AC,and FF7R except for final scene like lifestream. For this reasons,we Japanese think the final scene’s Sephiroth is real,but Sephiroth in AC,CC,and R is NOT real,fake Sephiroth. Wow, your response after beating the game.... Makes me proud as a long time lover of FF7, to see someone have such emotion toward a game that I shared similar feelings of now, and over 20 years ago first time I beat the original!
Well, I do not mean to be a party pooper or anything "but" I casually claim myself to suffer from Post FF VII Remake Depression. I am very torn on the game and while it can be summarised to be the ending I refrain from saying that I am a "long time lover" a "true fan" or "hardcore" even if I consider myself one (I even liked DoC back in the days, something most people do not speak of at all). There is so much hate on people with criticism and the "true fan" card gets played from both sides all the time. The OG meant a lot to me because it was brutal but this game is a feel-good version and that makes me very conflicted. The remake has so much to love but I cannot win over my fear and distaste of the Fate stuff but I would be happy if I could. I am not happy that we can have crazy things like 2 Sephiroths, time travel and Zack joining the party (what made him a great hero was the heroic death) or other wish and while I do have my own wish (like fighting original Jenova as Cetras or even WEAPON) I think that people are just putting more pressure on the developers and above all expect too much so the hype might be over the top next time. The game just like the OG is not perfect but saying anything bad about the new is taboo and that only makes me fear the community and everyone claiming to be fans. Yet I write comments -_-.
Everytime I see Zack.. I cry.. thats how great a "Hero" he become.
I think the creator wanted zack to be the main protagonist but then changed his mind. He should stay the main character tbh
My friend, when u started crying....it got me right in the feels. It reminded me that we all have our own final fantasy stories and we've all invested so much more than just time, into this game. My story is much to long to explain here, but thank you for reminding me that this game is so much more than a game. Keep doing you!
This game is just a MASTERPIECE, they Remade to perfection. Looking forward the sequel. I will play this part in loop cause I love it too much.

I came here after finishing ff7 remake to see if anyone had the same reaction as me when they saw zack. you nailed it. i played crisis core on the psp multiple times since it was the only game i had at the time. i got so attached to zack because of how admirable he was. he was the literal definition of a hero, it was so unjust that he died the way he did and this remake made me have alot of hope. Zack was the best protagonist and he deserves this so much. those cheesy voice lines he had that were so corny but you believed everything he said. i miss him man and i cant wait till the next one
You are such a cinnamon roll! This is an emotional game for a lot of people and it's always great to see someone have a real and visceral emotional reaction to the big reveals.
When those drums kick on the Crisis core OsT when Zacks flash back passes by AERITH my fuckin body was covered in goosebumps and I started shaking. I love your passion for the game and that we share it I teared up watching you sob cause I FELT THAT.

I'm praying that we see Zack in part 2 because I'm sure we can agree Zack is the true hero of the story because without him cloud wouldn't be here he truly was the unsung hero of this world.
It would be amazing if the sequel starts up like the first game, with the Bombing Run, but instead of Cloud on the train it is Zack. We would see scenes from this alternate timeline, where Zack survived and was the one to help out Avalanche. Cloud would be is a fugue state, and Zack/Tifa would be taking care of him. The game would periodically cut to this alternate timeline (like every 4 chapters we would check in on Zack), so it would be sort of like how Laguna was used in FF8.
This could be a way for them to keep using the Midgar assets, and keep the city apart of the sequels, since if they follow the original story we won't see Midgar again for a long time.

I saw u the first time on Tekken match at EVO, and I thought "oh she plays real nice" and that's it. RUclips recommended me this video and now I'm crying. I've been a FFVII fan since 98 when I was 7, now I'm 28, almost 29 and this remake was literally the best thing that ever happened to me. Seeing u crying like this just makes me remember how amazing this game was and I love how people feel this way with this remake. Hope u never forget that feeling, this was a love letter to FF7 fans. Sephiroth was literally playing with them, and when he said "Not yet" and sits Cloud down I'm assuming he means they aren't strong enough yet. Love how emotional you got at the end there, it really shows how much it means to you.

This ending had me shook. the game is called remake because they are remaking their story.
As a fan of the original I'm excited for this sequel. This game is a sequel not a remake. The title should be Final Fantasy VII: Remake like how crisis core is Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and Advent Children is Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Remake is the title name not a description. This explains why its in the title instead of just being called Final Fantasy VII episode 1
@Dodadeus The original story was perfection because it was realistic, there was no miracle rainbow & sunshine happy ever after ending. They just did their absolute damn best to save the planet and that was the only thing what mattered to them. Beloved characters died tragically as so it does happen real life aswell, It's part of life and what made the original game one of the best stories ever written. Now suddenly all of the beloved characters we mourned are magically alive. It's like having a best friend faking his death and after 20 years being like "sike, it was just a prank".
The producer actually has already said that the plot will remain the same, but with some tweaks and twists here and there. It's great that they are following the original story and are expanding it to make it more elaborate, yet at the same time unpredictable because of the minor changes and surprises they did. This is the best thing I've seen game developers do for a remake and definitely sets a standard to how remakes can be done.
@@lYakuzal I like the idea of small things changing, but that on the grand scale it will all lead to the same outcome. It would bring home the idea that sometimes you can't completely change fate and that some things are just meant to happen.

@Rex Wong that's how they're both gonna find their promised land i think, finally being united at once, they'll have Cetra kids and the Cetra race will come back and make plants grow on a planet which has been barren ever since they started dissappearing, Cloud's been striving to be with Aerith in the promised land for 23 years now and this remake is the perfect opportunity to make his wish come true and finally have an happy ending.

Back when the original came out i recall loving it and feeling like you did, i recall when Aerith met her fate in the original i stopped cold and put down the controller. Took a week before i could continue, but i did and finished everything. I'm so glad to see that same kind of love for this game. Well done in finishing the game. I finished the game but was so overwhelmed i sat from 4pm playing the Shinra mansion and played right through till 9am the next day to finish the game.
I didnt get to enjoy all the action and scenes while so involved in the game play (And being tired lol). But watching you play the end of FF7R brought alot of emotion and enjoyed it.
Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game of all time. I only got PS4 just for FF7R before it came out. It is a big emotional experience and watching you reminds me the experience I had playing it through. Good luck with hard mode! Cant wait for Part2:)

Great reaction, haha, I sobbed, too... I was so happy about the experience but also SO SAD it was over. I honestly have not enjoyed and been so immersed into a game since I was a kid...since I played FF7 and FF8, haha. Hands down one of the best games I've EVER played, and as someone who waited 15 years along with so many others, oh my GOD was it everything I hoped for an more.
Unfortunately we will have to wait 3 years probably for part 2. What I love about this remake is that it totally changed how the next part of FFVII will be. I think they’ll follow the same beats but cloud is now aware of things and he will do everything he can to stop what is supposed to happen and I def. know Aerith knows. This sephiroth character is NOT the same one from the OG FFVII. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Maxillians review of this game. They showed Zack surviving in another timeline of FF7. SE better make this happen or i'll go nuts. I want to see how Aerith will react to Zack being alive and also i want him to be playable, for the love of god don't make it like OG FF7 where he's only a background character being seen in cutscenes he deserves to be more than that considering without him there would never be a Cloud, his role is higher than most of the party members.
No he doesn't have a more important role. Without him the main character wouldn't be who he is but that's just his role, being the mentor of the hero. He didn't go against Shinra and fought Weapons, Jenova and fucking Sephiroth at the heart of the planet. The fucking disrespect you're all putting on the og FF7 party is incredible. But your wish is probably going to come to life, I think Nomura or Kitase already said Zack's role would be bigger in Remake.

Just a guess but they may do a kind of FF8 twist where you can play as the other characters in a timeline. Different actions you do there will reflect on the other side.
Can't wait for part 2. Still in the process of maxing out Different copies of materias and soon getting all Trophies.

In Japan,the word "I"can be expressed by two ways."俺(ore)"and "私(watashi)".Sephiroth in CCFF7 and FF7R final battle scene use "watashi",and he has used watashi since he defeated and dropped down into lifestream by Cloud.
But Sephiroth use "ore" in FF7,FF7AC,and FF7R except for final scene like lifestream.
For this reasons,we Japanese think the final scene’s Sephiroth is real,but Sephiroth in AC,CC,and R is NOT real,fake Sephiroth.
