I like how you are realistic in how you handle gardening. When you work and garden a bit of pragmatism goes a long way. Everything is beautiful. Love the two big black 4 legged moving garden ornaments. I can tell they are loved.
I came here searching for apricot lemonade cosmos ... then she turns to the ‘tough’ place for plants to grow and it’s gorgeous and enviable. Good stuff.
I just found your page and I Love your garden!! I appreciate how you don’t pretend to be perfect at maintaining everything. Gardens require so much time that we don’t always have. I also found a new plant I need!..the Kent Beauty Oregano! So romantic looking!
Erin its goooorgeous! I watched with my Sunday night ritual of popcorn and hard cider ;) I love the way you combine colors and I clearly need more hydrangeas in my life! My husband enjoyed seeing Dorothy and Odin.
🤣🤣🤣 "loading plant name" totally made me giggle! I really love your transparency in description of your tour, keeping it real. Damn deer! They are a nemesis to us all! Thank you.
I found your channel last weekend and have watched everything! Your approach is so appealing - I feel like I'm at a friend's house walking around and talking. I've been taking notes and drawing plans for this fall planting and the spring as well. Love the newfies - I had one and have to laugh when I see them moseying around - too cute!! Really terrific channel!! THANK YOU!
Great tour, love the different colored cosmos and your border right outside your door with the window box, dahlias and all your annuals is incredibly beautiful!
It’s so sad when our beautiful gardens get ready for the winter, but........ it gives us opportunity to think about the changes we want to make for next year. As we all know the garden is forever changing even on its own. Thank You for sharing. 🌸🌸🌸
I feel you on the roses. I got so frustrated between the beetles and black spot I shovel pruned twelve of them. The black spot was monstrous this year it even went wild on my hydrangea, which has never happened before.
Same here! Im removing my English rose today because of the black spot problem, it was horrendous. kinda scared that my other plants get it and I hate spraying my garden with chemicals😒
The Aralia Silver umbrella is beautiful! And I love your vegetable garden. The bed height is really great. And DEER 🦌 REPELLENT! Duh! Great tip - never crossed my mind but getting that today for sure!
Dried hydrangea flowers are spectacular for the Christmas tree! That and fresh baby's breath. White lights and done. Gorgeous. I used purples, blues, greens. The white doesn't dry well. anyway!!
Erin, I love your garden and your attitude towards occasional flops. We can’t get it all 😜Your videos are so refreshing! Every morning I look for one 😁
Love your gardens. We bought another house a few years back. It’s an older home had tons of very mature trees - too many had to have some removed. It was over grown with English ivy which was my first project to remove it. Now I’m adding hydrangeas, perennials, and annuals. It’s a work in progress. Still too shady in the back with trees in leaves we can mainly only grow Hostas. I’m in GA zone 7B very hot summers
Great content, great sense of humor and a soothing voice - why isn't your channel blowing up? Viewers please comment! Let's help her grow - comments help her with the RUclips algorithm! There are almost 12,000 views, but only 98 comments??? C'mon guys, let's show her some love and encouragement! I think she deserves it - these videos are time consuming to produce. Thank you everyone in advance!!!!!! BTW, I'm impressed! Your garden style goes perfectly with your beautiful home. Never seen these flower arrangements in water before - I love it and will give it a try. My favorites: the hydrangeas, the flower bed next to the deck, and the dahlia bed. Thank you for making the video!!!
Great tour and shows how much time and love you put into your little bit of paradise :) Love the floating flowers. Don't recall seeing that before. very pleasing designs and beautiful. Always poignant to see lovely gardens start to fade each year but fall clean up can be invigorating while thinking about next seasons plans.
Great tour of the garden and engaging information. Thanks and I'll go through your other videos. It's never too late to learn something and increase your knowledge so thanks.
Great video, thanks so much for taking the time to show us your beautiful gardens. We are in New Brunswick, Canada 🇨🇦 and my hostas really are looking bad too. I thought it was maybe slugs. My suggestion for a new tree is a beautiful purple smoke bush. I don’t know it’s proper name. We have two of them and they look so interesting and we have a real problem with deer too and they don’t bother the smoke bushes. But, maybe that will change this year. Stupid deer 🦌. Lol. Thanks again for the great videos
omg the size of that limelight, its gorgeous, all your gardens are beautiful even the veggie garden. Alot of hard work but so self rewarding. I have trouble with deer, ate some of my hydrangeas and they really love beans and beet greens. Your 2 newfoundland dogs are beautiful, gentle giants.
I enjoyed your tour. I love your honesty and I like how you assessed the garden. Thank you. I think your garden is beautiful.😊 I love the pond in the vegetable garden!
I especially love the window basket. The thought of frogs at nightime and the sounds they make.. oh wow. It really is stunning! I love the garage container too with the beans. Aw. It's all out of this world. I'm in England so I've enjoyed the whole of your video. Oh and the dogs and thought of the deer you dont know how lucky you are 🤗 it's all fab!! Xx
Thank you for this tour. I love the realistic view about gardening you give us. Is all so natural and real. I also love the location of your house and the dogs are adorable.
I agree with Dalla...pragmatic, realistic, relaxed. This attitude shows in your garden and what a beautiful conglomeration of plants and flowers! Yummmm. I want to come back as a plant in YOUR garden!! Oregano? Looks more like hops! Beautiful! Do you ever have a problem with spider mite? I found spider mite predators that are fabulous. Definitely pull up a few chairs with magnification loops to watch the genocide in process! I am serious! How about powdery mildew? 9:1 water/milk? Have you tried this spray? Yeah, I like your garden mentality!!
Wow, just beautiful. I just discovered your channel and I am already so glad I did. I love your combinations and your style. Great video, I will be binge watching more!
My garden is mostly spent already. It’s been just too hot here in Texas for some of the things I planted this year. Yours looks really good. Tfs. Love your sweet pups. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
I JUST found you and you've already shot way up to the top of my list. I do so appreciate your down-to-earth approach and whereas it's clear that you know and love what you're doing, you have this sensible, no-nonsense approach to the whole process and you can shrug off the occasional mishap. And your humor goes a long way as well. "This plant is by far the most ridiculous one in the entire garden; maybe it'll drop a few more leaves this year and, I dunno, be a shrub or somethin;." Cracked me UP. Anyway, thanks much and I'll be back for the next one! And oh! How could I have left out the fabulous doggoes??? Gorgeous!!!
I'm new subscriber. I learned of this channel from laura on garden answer. And I subscribed almost automatically. 1. Beautiful gardens 2. In my zone and 3 I saw Newfoundlands. One of my fav breeds. So many new ideas and just awesome ty
I know people in Canada who just stick their fish in a fish tank in their garage for the winter then put them back into the pond in spring. It seems to work well for them. Fish tip coming from Zone 3. Also if you put a heater in the tank over winter sometime that's enough to keep the fish alive.
I like how you are realistic in how you handle gardening. When you work and garden a bit of pragmatism goes a long way. Everything is beautiful. Love the two big black 4 legged moving garden ornaments. I can tell they are loved.
I can rewatch this tour many times just to see the dogs and hydrangea
I came here searching for apricot lemonade cosmos ... then she turns to the ‘tough’ place for plants to grow and it’s gorgeous and enviable. Good stuff.
0:55 Em pauses video and runs to kitchen for wine, returns to sofa ready to go... so looking forward to spring
Wow! I am in awe of your garden... Dahlias are beautiful and Water Fountain is definitely a success. Thanks for sharing.

The opening picture...that is why 3 limelight’s are on order. The beauty!
🤣🤣🤣 "loading plant name" totally made me giggle! I really love your transparency in description of your tour, keeping it real. Damn deer! They are a nemesis to us all! Thank you.
Not all of us. But then again you guys live in lushness. I suppose there’s gotta be a compromise. :)

I feel you on the roses. I got so frustrated between the beetles and black spot I shovel pruned twelve of them. The black spot was monstrous this year it even went wild on my hydrangea, which has never happened before.

You are so kind. Thank you! You’re cracking me up on the soothing voice though. To me it sounds like nails on a chalkboard.
Purple-leafed cherry stays relatively small. I love mine!!
Now I want a frog on my window too! Never knew that could be a want haha
Loved this video! The garden is outstanding. Glad we got to see the water garden. It really did well.
Great tour and shows how much time and love you put into your little bit of paradise :) Love the floating flowers. Don't recall seeing that before. very pleasing designs and beautiful. Beautiful Erin!
So beautiful.
When the dill weed is done take it out and dry it, if you pickle it's so good to put it in, gives it a great taste.
Your gardens are beautiful! I have lots of naturalized areas.....
Your gardens are so dreamy and romantic looking. Beautiful!
You are so kind. Thank you.
So awesome! I love the limelight update. I just planted a few and seeing how many other hydrangeas you have is so encouraging.

I know people in Canada who just stick their fish in a fish tank in their garage for the winter then put them back into the pond in spring. It seems to work well for them. Fish tip coming from Zone 3. Also if you put a heater in the tank over winter sometime that's enough to keep the fish alive.
Fascinating! I'll have to look into that.
