- Today we're touring the part of the garden closest to the house. This is where we hang out every day and a lot of the main plants in the garden-the dahlias and hydrangeas-are just starting to look great.

I'm heavily influenced by your picks, you have such exquisite taste! Every time he hears your voice my husband yells "NOTHING NEW! YOU HAVE ENOUGH!" and then I pause the video and show him what you have and he goes "Okay just that one but only because its awesome." Still, I keep showing him my favorite Newfies and he stands firm at no =(. Garden looks like my idea of perfection, love it Erin!

I think "Cousin It" might summarize my garden style, I love stuff spilling out everywhere. Beautiful repetition with just enough variation to keep the progression interesting!

I call it organized chaos. I love the "messy" clean look of the whole garden and it sums up my style perfectly.
Such a romantic garden! I love the fullness of it with all the plants spilling into one another. Some really great combinations utilizing the dark foliage of dahlias, ajuga and basil!!! I'm definately taking notes....

Oh Erin your garden has come along beautifully. I love the peach color Coral bells and the lime green nicotiana(not sure of the spelling) but pretty. Also love the song at the ending. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the tour - such relaxing yet engaging plant beauty. Our strong branched hydrangeas could not withstand the tropical storm rain and winds. Propped some up, and living with the impact of nature.
I love your Newfoundlands! We used to dogs sit and dog walk our good friends Newf. He was a Landseer! A gentle giant! Love the tour! Such magical spaces that you have created.

Your plants and trees and dog oh my! I have Great Pyrenees and used to have dog spots in our grass. A few years ago I put in a 12 x 15 area of cedar chips in front of a woodland area and trained the dogs to do their business in that area. It saved the grass and they don't go anywhere else now.

Erin, I love that plants you have chosen for your garden! The natural look your garden gives me a ton of inspiration! The Salvia Argentina, the dahlias, and the nicotiana I cannot get enough of! And the hornbeam hedge is filling out so nicely. Garden looks amazing!

Thank you for the tour! BTW Serviceberries are really prone to fungal diseases including leaf spot and rusts. A quick spray of an OMRI-listed dormant oil in winter, followed by an occasional spray of an organic bioprotectant like Serenade during the growing season really helps - if you are open to using them...

Beautiful property! Love the drone footage! I tried dahlias for the first time this year - bought them in 4” containers. They’ve had nice blooms but they’re still only about 8-10 inches tall🙁I suppose it’s the variety. Yours are gorgeous 🌸and I look forward to the video dedicated to them.

So so beautiful. I love your garden tours. I don't have issues with deer but I do with rabbits and they infuriate me!!!!!! They definitely not only ruin but kill some of my bushes or plants.

To me, your garden is an alien world, as I am in the Desert Southwest! :) How funny, your back stairs with the two Hydrangeas make you look so tiny! You look like a wee-folk at the foot of those stairs, those Blooms are terrific! :)
I have 3 Shiba Inu, and although they love the indoor life, they also love digging holes in indiscriminate places, and often where I had my hands earlier digging or planting! :) One is out of commission with a dislocated/repaired hind leg, in 7-years, this is the second time doing such a thing! It is a time of great humbling for my pup, once again! Gardens soothe my anxiety when all else fails! :) Thank you!
