If you can play it alone, you can play it together
Two set violin be everywhere
Yee
Ah, i knew there would be a wandering Ling Ling Wannabe here 😄👍
And Pag24 will soon be the next bumblebee. It's everywhere, thank to twoset 😁😁
Yeet 2 set gang
When I saw the thumbnail I thought they're about to play together at the same time
Same
Same.
Disapoimment ↗️
ahahhaa sameeee
Ya totally
3:35 this guy has been practicing the ling ling workout 😂
He won the Sibelius violin competition in 1995
Just a Finnish girl who likes music wow
Lol
@Marysia_Klara DIY ahhhh man of culture 😂
I want to like this but it's at 666 likes
So we're not going to talk abouy the guy who left pizz above his head?
Sí, ¿cómo qué trataba de demostrar haciendo eso de ponerse el violín detrás de su cabeza? 🙄🤦🏻♂️
What a legend! Didn't expect that at all 😁
It's in the score. I've seen it done in live concert.
Yeah, Jimi would be proud!
What a sacrilegious move, but Ling Ling can do it better
Ngl I was kinda hoping Brett would be here doing the pizz. section
Perfect pizz boi would be perfect with dead look in his eyes 😂
Hes not good enough
Jk Jk Ling Ling Insurance
Yeah, the perfect pizz boi
Yeah. Wish twoset would review this cause i would really like to know whether the rubato would be considered sAcRiLeGiOuS
Me too
1:14 this guy is playing octaves like its nothing
as a violin learner It's really hard to pinpoint two exact notes with your left hand. Even if the two notes are slightly different, it's very obvious.
윌리엄W that’s... that’s why it’s Impressive this dude made it look so damn easy...
The entire point of the original comment was pointing this out
If you have an old school Russian teacher they better be like nothing!
Not that great. Could barely hear the top line, inconsistent balance.
It was so good I didn't hear them at first :O
What was that variation 2? I think her interpretation made it sloppy.
Yeah, too much rubato and un-melodic melodic line.
I sadly agree
So many variations in this video are either out of tempo or poorly audible.
Yeah, variation 7 was just bizarre. I'm not sure you can call that rubato, that guy was just taking the piss.
It’s literally exactly how I play (piano) when I’m really bored with a practising and I’m just messing around
Seeing the thumbnail
I thought they were gonna do an orchestra of Paganini in zoom 😂
Same 😂
Fiona McNinch that would’ve been a mess lolll
That would have been chaotic
I really like Augustine he’s the best
Yea, he's Augustin
Very very good
Really excellent
Me too!
Thank you for the great service
What the heck happened with Variation 2
Yes you are correct what the heck happened with variation 2?
rubato... rubato happened to variation 2... and quite a lot of it. i mean it was tasteful?? i guess?
That is what I thought. It was terrible, but don’t get me wrong. She is very good. However, I think it is the interpretation that I very dislike.
Variation 7 too
It sounded kinda Romani, I liked the kinda folksy sound. I feel like one would either really like it or be put off by it haha
BRUH THE 7th 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
his head movements got me 💀😂
@@ashenflufff I think he was joking! I thought it was hilarious! LOLOEFJ;oaisehf;lrnzgawrsgawr;soighwiartgsfv :)
Lol he was my fave
That was such a clean variation 1! Variations 2 and 7 were interpreted pretty sacrilegiously tho.
i agree lol
Well the song can be interpreted differently by everyone
@@Surausolla piece*
@@Surausolla there's a big difference between a interpretation and not keeping a tempo
@Aubrey Lin same
How much rubato do you want?
Third lady: y e s
Dont forget the 7th man
M. Ahsan
8th man but 7th variation
The person who did variation 11- now THAT'S how you make it your own while still being musical!
Oh my god, Elena Urioste your precision and your perfect playing is incredible. I literally have no words 😶
Wow Elena tho has such a beautiful tone and such BOW CONTROL
My ears loved that
Sarah Moline
That was my favorite variation in this video. Each phrase sounded as though a fresh breath took place before starting. And the it almost felt as though the violin was weeping. Not many people commented on this variation.
Woo!
It was really beautifully done
4:38 Tessa Lark, oh this flawless technique...
Minghe Liu why
She sucks
@@gsm2424 says the one who's just jealous of their virtuosity
DenimSoul 89 then who doesnt?
Variation 9.... That left handed pizzicato always blows my mind. lol.
Lol variation no.9 went full on flexing. Maybe he sold his soul to the demon also
Not impressed. Ling Ling can do it while also hula hooping
kkkkkkkkkk
I wanna marry this guy
Tri Via stfu stop with the unfunny twoset jokes
@@prodbymatias9509 no one asked for your impolite opinion
Good grief, Elena Urioste's tone. Sublime.

"Advice From the Experts" contains all the discussion material for Episode 6, though.
This is cool, but I’ll be honest, I hated the way the 2nd variation was played.
I hate it too, it's really annoying to listen
*cough variation 9*
It’s just an iNTerEreStINg interpretation
@@meraldlag4336 she should have only empasized the melodic line.
I actually like the second variation the best.
The best violinists in this video really do their best and play the piece in a genuine and sensible manner. However, some of the others want to be "too original", almost like showing off, and really mess it all up. I'm not a musical purist at all, but innovation has to be reasonable. That's only my opinion.
Variation 2
*cough variation 7*
Yeah lol some of them genuinely pissed me off
But also the point of the piece is to show off, so I think the additions to variation 11 were okay , but definitely not 2 or whichever variation the dude with the AirPods played
Nah, they weren’t all trying to be serious. A number of them were trying to show off, or to make it funny.
Ling Ling can play all of the variations at the same time.
While upside down.
While floating.
ling ling may play even with covid19 in bed drowning
without a violin and oxygen
40th like :>
What the hell was that variation 2...
If you thought that was rough, variation 7 will really give you whiplash
A whole lot of rubato
The second to me is still a bigger train wreck
Some of these people have insanely good intonation, that blew my mind
Augustine's and Elena's part are my favourite
2:29 What a magnificent interpretation. This video is great.
bruh augustine played those octaves like they were just one note. tf
They are tenths which is so much more frightening
He's one of the greatest violinists of our time.
He’s way better than anyone here, he’s a Grammy winning soloist
Because seems like Augustin makes the most sense of playing in terms of how we hear Paganini.
I feel some others are overdoing and over exaggerating parts unnecessarily.
Of course
2:51 Variation 7, are u kidding me? What’s the point of showing off while you really messed up?
It's sooooo bad
Why is he only using the tip of the bow in Variation 7
He so sacrilegious
The guy who did var 7 won the Paganini Competition 1998. Weird that he went with such an iNtErEsTiNg approach for it in this.
@@sijemeurtcesoir what? How?
Some of them are just trying too hard and messing with tempo
like number 3
Var. 2 and 7 had really weird use of tempo and dynamics making them unlistenable for me at least
@@ieuanphillips4963 exactly. Especially Var. 7 changes the figures and tempo and ı can't stand hear it
@@whosaubrey7524 you mean the 3rd person who played variation 2 right? The lady with the overdone dynamic expression.
They shape it in a more creative and individual way, there is nothing wrong with that. It's not like they are totaly destroying the piece.
What an incredible collection of musicians! So inspiring 🤩
Some of them were using a technic called sacrilegious rubato! Still good though. I think it's important to have different interpretations, even if I or other people don't like it. :D
Great to see so many awesome artists in one clip. I enjoyed watching/listening to all of the variations!
That's a weird tempo for variation 2
It was really whack
What tempo
It's called rubato
@@dangan7991 Wdym what tempo?
Smarty Pants
First thing my piano teacher told me:
Rubato should ever only be used moderately, and too much makes people unable to follow the pulse and can be annoying
Augustin is my favorite virtuoso!
I've just started well not even started just bought violin at 60 and I'm not sure what I'm waiting for but kinda excited
Well worth the wait. My friends say I’m a bit too old to learn but I figure I’ll be older and not learned anything if I don’t try and so far just by looking at RUclips I’ve seen and heard so much lovely music.
I started at 65 and five years later, I'm already nearly as good as David Oistrakh. (it's all about mind over matter and my mind is no longer that reliable!)
Go for it! I started at 60, now 64 and loving it. The world of violin repertoire, amazing players and performances will, I hope, give you a new lease of life, immense pleasure and fun, and all the annoyance on your family and neighbours you could possibly wish for!
Here are some helpful tips:
Always pay attention to stuff like psture and bow placement, it can create bad habits and they are hard to get out off, i used to struggle with these habits.
Don't challenge yourself too much, I've also done this and it hurts your hands badly.
And make sure to play music you enjoy, it makes the overall experience better.
Hope you have a nice time learning!
Jhart217 great advice. I just signed up for lessons. I figured I should learn at least those very basic things so as not to start of badly. I started reading your reply before I put my specs on and I thought you said pastures. I wondered how you knew I owned cows 😂😂
Violinists have something divine and deserve all the happiness in the world. Thanks.
Definitely Augustin
It is so amazing to see how different they feel and play the same peace 👏
Amazing variations from talented violinists. Thanks Nicola!!!
Great congratulations to all the violinist. Loved the curious and original performance.
Thank you guys!!!!
Fantastic!!! Nicola, this video really goes along with your advice on practicing and memorizing one section at a time... thank you!!!
After every single variation I think “wow, what a great violinist!“. You all did such a good work, thank you very much!
Tessa and Augustin absolutely the best, absolutely incredible!
Bravo!!!! Absolutely amazing and inspiring
4:07 variation 10. So tenderWow
I so love the different interpretations and character in each variation ❣️
Pekka Kuusisto's variation embodied the flavor of Paganini the most!
Ling ling can play this while playing the liszt version on piano with his legs.
Ling ling can play this with his mind without even touching anything
Upside down
With his right hand holding the violin and left hand bowing.
With his left toes only instead of legs
Ling Ling can do that while watching TwoSet and playing it on the violin and go Bach in time to meet Paganini all at the same time and with his mind
I loved this. Thank you, all you fabulous violinists
Seeing this just makes me want to practice more than 40 hours a day. So inspiring💓💓💓
gonna need +twoset here
Lovely performance Nicola and joined by some amazing playing. Best wishes and thanks for sharing this piece of music gold.
Love love love!! Thank you!
I think I liked variations 9 & 10 the most.
Such interesting interpretation!! I love most of them! 😍😍
I need to be honest the second and the seventh variation is weird
That was fun,, thanks all for sharing your talents!
We all have favorites, and this is like picking children, but I'm going with Tessa Lark.
SAME
Me too
hers is definitely my fav
Amazing project-It was a pleasure to do this with everyone!
What talent 👏
Where was Hilary Hahn?!
Because I think we all heard her play this on repeat 1000x :)
Hula hooping
Trebled Musician practicing for 40 hours lol
Profile pic buds!
She is practicing 40 hours while hula hooping.
My favorite is Variation 6. Intonations are so rich and so stable.
It’s a really interesting group of players, really enjoyed the compilation.
0:56 this feels like how I need to pee

What an astonishing gang of virtuosi! Thank you!

Everyone played very well. Tessa was my fave with her #11 interpretation. What a sound.
My favourite variations were 5 and 11 loved the fingered octaves in 5 and Tessa larks technique and bariolage variation on. Chords were incredible
So many technics! Incredible!
Magnifico!! Brilliant.
The older the best in tune.... nothing better than experience !
Brilliant! Great playing everyone! 👍

Haha oh man I loved pekkas variation with the crazy pizz behind his head, definitely didn’t expect that xD also Ilya’s variation really spoke in musical terms :D
Thank you!!!!
Amazing!!
I enjoyed all interpretations!!
OH MY GOD PEKKA!! That whole thing was spectacular! Well done everyone. :)
Thats 40 hours of practice right there. Every day!! Ling ling type beat

Waooo Nicola Benedetti que genial el principio y final✨😊👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It is interesting to listen to because each one of these people have very different styles of playing.
