The potential of a guitar is unlimited. Last years someone played moonlight sonata 3th movemenr with a classical guitar. I mean not like the rock guitar version but a full combined all lines of that piece into one guitar. Which I never thought it would work.

2:25 Well, maybe Paganini sounds good on guitar because he actually was also a virtuoso guitarist and that is apparently reflected in the quirky violin techniques he invented
Honestly. I'm only just starting out, and I learnt twinkle twinkle in about 20 mins the other day. My intonation needs working on (why the heck is E string always sweaky?!) And my timings are off because half way through I need to recheck where my fingers should be.... But hey, it's great to see progress and it encourages me to keep going. Shout out to all the new learners out there? What are you guys learning! What are you finding good, and what are you finding tricky? Edit: typos corrected.

your e is prolly squeaky rn cause im guessing youre still getting used to the bows weight and all. and the e string just happens to be extra loud cause high notes _and_ it gets all the weight good luck on the violin, keep practising, it's worth it :)) (ive been at it for 11 years so not a newbie sorry lol)
Not starting on violin but guitar ... ( Which in theory should be 'easier' but I'm not so convinced about it ) And I'm currently trying to learn a simplified ( I assume , because that's how it sounds like ) version of "The Woman" from Sherlock . 😅 I also find the E string tricky because it's the one where my fingers start dying . Anyway , good luck with your violin lessons ! You can do it ! 🤗

9:23 I guess the calculation was 27 years × 40 hours a day × 365 days a year. But, what about years with 366 days? That's at least another 240 hours. (Every four years there is february 29th, so in period of 27 years there are 6 or 7 of them, which means, another 240 or 280 hours of practice for Eddy). Happy birthday!
27 years/100 = .27 multiplied by (365/100=3.65multiplied-10=36.5) = 9.85 = 9R, 40/100 = .4 multiplied by(366/100=3.66multiplied-10=36.6) = 14.64R, (9R/14.64R=0.6147541). Therefore, 0.6147541R is the remainder of 27 years multiplied. If we take 27 and squared it, (5.1961multiplied-10=51.9615242/1=51.9615242/2=25.9807621ER)
sitting cross legged is actually needed in guitar if you don’t have a foot stool. It makes the same effect, it brings the guitar up and tilts it to the right position, otherwise i’d be too low and straight to play comfortably and ur left arm should have to do the work of holding up the guitar up
Instead of bleeping out the word "coronavirus", some smart musician can spell it out using notes and then editor-san can just edit in that musical phrase every time you want to say it. Please like so that they can see this, because that would be really cool.
No, I meant like when you play certain notes on the staff, the chords form the letters "CORONAVIRUS" or "COVID" or "CORONA" or something. Does that make sense?
from guitarist perspective - the tremolo is actually the hardest technique in that piece to really nail, look up recuerdos de la alhambra. It's just surprisingly difficult to get every single rapid plucking op the strings at the exact same volume and tone. Because little talked about fact - in classical guitar the tone of the note depends heavily on the shape and angle of the nail, so with tremolo you are having to make sure that each pluck with each finger is angled in just the right way to have even tone. Well.. that's if you wanna master it... or you can just be lazy like me and settle for speed! hoho

The policy is meant to protect advertisers from being associated with videos about things like mass shootings, terrorist acts, armed conflicts and global health crises - like the coronavirus. The potential of a guitar is unlimited. Last years someone played moonlight sonata 3th movemenr with a classical guitar. I mean not like the rock guitar version but a full combined all lines of that piece into one guitar. Which I never thought it would work.
Because you can a slap a guitar unlike violin.
With a guitar you can create orchestra of your own( if you are skilled enough)
Check out Marcin's version, it's epic.
Of course it does work it is an orchestra like a piano, but portable.
To all the people in the replies, the guy here meant that it was played WITHOUT slapping and on a CLASSICAL guitar. To the guy that recommended Marcin, Marcin's version is cool but only works on a steel string acoustic.

Dear non-musicians,
If you feel bored for quarantine, you can pick up an instrument to learn. Best instrument to learn - RECORDER.
-easy to carry
-easy to self learn
-cheap
-u might find your primary school recorder in your house.
Not if you're asthmatic... Just saying...
-annoying to hear
annoying, not suitable if u got roommates but otherwise GREAT
I actually did start to play the recorder again! The soprano one, and luckily we also had an alto recorder at home, so i am learning that one too. Keep practicing guys
How are we supposed to learn an instrument during quarantine when we’re in quarantine and can’t go buy one
"Flattening the curve like you flattening your sharp intonation" -Eddy 4/2/20
You guys should feature @Brandon Acker. He is a brilliant classical guitarist and teacher. He also plays ancient instruments like the lute and the huge theorbo.
Alto clef: exists.
Two set: oh look it’s viola clef!
“Clave de Do” en español.
I’m trying to practice during quarantine but it’s kinda depressing. You guys literally encourage us to keep play. Thanks Ling ling’s!

2:25 Well, maybe Paganini sounds good on guitar because he actually was also a virtuoso guitarist and that is apparently reflected in the quirky violin techniques he invented
And it sounded nicer on guitar than violin
When you remember Paginini really played the guitar more than the violin later in life.
Edit: typos corrected.
good luck on journey!!
Violin beginner like you, complete with screeching sounds! (But i have a background in piano) And my E-string snapped but my country is under movement restriction so 😭😭
your e is prolly squeaky rn cause im guessing youre still getting used to the bows weight and all. and the e string just happens to be extra loud cause high notes _and_ it gets all the weight
good luck on the violin, keep practising, it's worth it :))
(ive been at it for 11 years so not a newbie sorry lol)
We learned Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in 2 months!
We are still waiting the “professional vs begginner classical guitarist” video. Do it.

@@katarzynaludwa4673 lol yea
Never confine yourself musically, it just holds back potential progress and happiness! If a metal head loves classical, so be it. If simple pop music makes a jazz player happy, so be it. Music is supposed to unite, not be a divisive thing!

I've never laughed so hard from a comment before. Thank you 🤣🤣🤣
Last time I was this early Paganini was still being asked if he made a deal with the devil
Me asking my guitar after watching the episode: "are we still worthy with each other?"
I liked the video spelling "STAY HOME" with piano notes, so now I'm trying to write a piece that draws telephone poles, which uses ties as the telephone wires.
Oh good, I wasnt the only one. I didnt want to say it
that movement looks stressfull cause it isss, seriously classical guitar is underaprreciated, please watch something like capriccio arabe...
I know, right? A friend of mine from a church that I used to attend actually made his own classical guitar. It took him about 6 months to make it, but, I really enjoyed watching his process and listening to the end result.
I've been playing classical guitar for ten years I'm still studying btw and hearing people limit it to just songs that are mainly for acoustic is really annoying. I play Bach all the time. I've played Vivaldi. Like there is so much more than what it seems
wannabe_assassin my favorite is austarias-issac albanez or sum like that. I mix from both modern music with my acoustic guitar to classical music. Well I am barely getting into it/learning. But the difference in playing n the tone amazes me. It’s beautiful if one just listens to the strings.
Caprico Arabe is one of my favourite guitar pieces, it's a gorgeous piece.

FINALLY CLASSICAL GUITAR CONTENT FOR ME I HAVE BEEN WAITING I LOVE YALL
Edit: as a classical guitarist that girl is amazing I wish I could do that rip fingers
I always wondered why I love this channel so much and I think I figured out why, it’s that even tho Brett and eddy are violinists, this channel doesn’t feel violin exclusive, it’s just a giant thing family of musicians, or not even, it’s a giant family of musicians, non musicians that want to be musicians, or people that just love music and want to hear a professionals take on it, it just feels like a massive family and I love it
I’ve watched that guitar video so many times, i love it so much and She’s so talented honestly, are there more people like that out there?
There's another version by Marcin Patrzalek that's also super crazy: ruclips.net/video/nmb_831Io7w/видео.html
Check out John Feely.
Me: A high school senior who had his senior recital cancelled
Me: A classical guitarist
Also me: At least I'm getting a lot of recognition
duuuude I've been waiting to play Goodbye Porkpie Hat as a Tenor Sax feature song with my jazz ensemble for four years. Also I'm not going into music in college, so this would've probably been my last Jazz concert ever. shit hurts. I'm sorry about your senior recital!! Hope you're staying safe and continue playing despite the craziness!
You should definetly check out Marcin Patrzalek's version of the Caprice 24 on the guitar, as well as Santiago Canon Valencia's version on the cello. Especially the cello one is incredible.
I've been a metal bassist since I was 11 and guitarist since 15 (I'm 28 now) and I tried to learn Paganini for shits and giggles a few years back. Took me like 3 months to even start to be able to play it, and I learned all of zeppelin iv in like the same amount of time(on bass, I can't begin to process being able to play the Jimmy page solos on guitar)
The teacher who taught me guitar told me, "There is an orchestra hidden inside the classical guitar." 👍👍👍
Andres Segovia said that
True!
@@Gilvids I call b.s. I've looked inside classical guitars, and there's just some sticks and a label. And once I saw some mouse turds, but that was a really old and neglected guitar.
You cant see them because they are hidden. I've been trying to find the little piccolo that makes my ears ring at night. Sneaky bugger.
When a quarter of the video is dedicated to classical guitar:
Happy Fret Noises
So true !
Finally
Eddy:. I play violin for 20 years
Also Eddy: called auto clef viola clef
It's just like Paganini to have even a classical guitarist play a piece from his Violin Repertoire over his massive selection of Guitar pieces lol
My friend : You can‘t play Pag‘s 24
Me : Ohh you don‘t believe me
My performance: 10:18
9:23 YOU FORGOT THAT EDDY HAS LIVED THROUGH 7 LEAP YEARS! HE HAS PRACTICED 394480 HOURS!!!!
You can see Eddy bobbing his head in beat to the guitar 24 Caprice.
*Eddy's reaction to Stay Home on the piano* Me: THIS IS WHY I LOVE JAZZ
9:23 I guess the calculation was 27 years × 40 hours a day × 365 days a year.
But, what about years with 366 days? That's at least another 240 hours. (Every four years there is february 29th, so in period of 27 years there are 6 or 7 of them, which means, another 240 or 280 hours of practice for Eddy).
Happy birthday!
That's also assuming he came out of the womb playing violin... Ling Ling???
27 years/100 = .27 multiplied by (365/100=3.65multiplied-10=36.5) = 9.85 = 9R, 40/100 = .4 multiplied by(366/100=3.66multiplied-10=36.6) = 14.64R, (9R/14.64R=0.6147541). Therefore, 0.6147541R is the remainder of 27 years multiplied. If we take 27 and squared it, (5.1961multiplied-10=51.9615242/1=51.9615242/2=25.9807621ER)

NO EXCUSES JUST DO YOUR HOMEWORK WHILE PRACTICING
sitting cross legged is actually needed in guitar if you don’t have a foot stool.

Elizabeth Plank “coronavirus” only has 2 notes 😭 but it’s a great idea
Notes: ABCDEFG
Coronavirus letters: CORONAVIRUS
No, I meant like when you play certain notes on the staff, the chords form the letters "CORONAVIRUS" or "COVID" or "CORONA" or something. Does that make sense?
Elizabeth Plank oh like the stay home in the video?
Connor Henderson ahh ok that’s doable then. I thought she meant play the letters as they correspond to notes.
from guitarist perspective - the tremolo is actually the hardest technique in that piece to really nail, look up recuerdos de la alhambra.
Well.. that's if you wanna master it... or you can just be lazy like me and settle for speed! hoho
Guitarist: plays Paganini Caprice 24
Violinist: am I a joke to you
Anyone feels weird when RUclips blocks the use of “Coronavirus”?
I've been wondering why mention of the pandemic is demonetized so I looked around and saw this: "RUclips today announced a change in policy regarding the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. Previously, RUclips’s advertising guidelines prevented monetization of videos that included more than a passing mention of the coronavirus as part of its “sensitive events” policy. The policy is meant to protect advertisers from being associated with videos about things like mass shootings, terrorist acts, armed conflicts and global health crises - like the coronavirus. Now, RUclips is changing this policy to allow some creators to monetize videos on the topic, it says." techcrunch.com/2020/03/11/youtube-will-now-allow-creators-to-monetize-videos-about-coronavirus-and-covid-19/
I mean Paganini was a guitarist too....
But idk if he played his caprices on his guitar
Oh did I mention he is also a violist :00
And of course I add the word “viola” in my comment no one likes it

Also Mandolin that was his first instrument
Paganini was not a skilled guitarist, but I believe that the violin has become boring with his dominance over the instrument
