- Bought this tractor from Gov Planet in the fall of 2015. Tachometer showed 816 hrs and judging by the wear on front tires and seat it may be correct. Not sure why the black and silver rear wheels where added. A source on the naval base where it was used said that its duties included pulling a shredder and clearing snow in the winter. Most of the sheet metal was pretty rusted but the Engine ran perfectly. HS shifted very smooth but clutch needed replacing.
Also, typo's suck............ Авто/Мото
She may have a CASE sticker on her but under that hood she has a unstoppable David Brown HEART.
Hogslayer !!!!! You're making me drool . If I ever get a chance to go to the USA on a trip I would LOVE to see your collection of Case tractors. You're an amazing mechanic.
What a great job.....I used to drive a David brown 1390 ( GUA 251Y) fleet no 6351 for my local authority parks department. Got it new in 1983. Was only a 2 wheel drive tho, spent many years in that cab, Gang mowing, hauling, snowploughing.....really great to see these old girls being preserved. I wish I could find out what happened to the one I drove for all those years...😂
Stunning
Normally "videos" that are just a series of photos are boring.. but you do such a nice job that it was totally worth watching.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Amazing job!
Amazing job you have done a great job keep up the good work
Awesome Restos on these Case DB's
thanks!
They used to have 1 just like this at a landfill used to feed a Drum Chipper,it and a Old Case Wheel loader.Always liked the older Case and DB's had a 990 for a long time to scrape my drive way and Bush hawg around the house.Whats the Red Case with the loader at the beginning of the vid? Looks tough!
Its a 1594. One of my first restoration jobs. Check out some of my other videos, its in a few.
Amazing (fistbump)
Beautiful job done here!!!
Can you tell me whether the color of the rims (dark orange) is the same as the whole bodies used to be, before they were named "Case"?
CNH Power Red is the paint that was used on the rims and also the paint that I used on the "body" of the older models in my collection.
gooooooooooooooood job
Hot damn! 👍👍👍
nice job, well done
How wide front axle is
case is best
Beurkk
que buen trbajo ..
hi did you dyno it??
Have not had a chance yet. Will post a vid once I get around to it.
So any new resto's coming? I'm totally addicted to your channel now LOL
I appreciate that^ Things have slowed down a bit since I lost my father to cancer last year. I did a 1490 last fall that I'll try to make a vid for and get posted this weekend. Also been doing a bunch of semi resto's and repairs on newer stuff. Re-painted the TW15, repainted the wheels on my maxxum 125, replaced the rusted floor of my rhino batwing and repainted. Maybe I will make a combined video for those as I didn't take a ton of pics for each. My 850K is inline next to be re-painted and then the Puma 180 after that. As far as total overhauls to be added to my David Brown collection, there is an 1190 and 1412 in the shop at the moment with another 1394 that I have my eyes on. Stay tuned!
Sorry to hear that man. Keep up the good work on the video's, I'll be looking forward to whatever you upload. Thanks for the reply.
do you know the colour codes that you used;
I used Case power red and case power white both purchased from the local CNH dealer.
Did u get the cab galvanized??
no, just blasted and repainted
Where do you get parts?
Yes... where do you get parts?
HAWWWWWW, god job...............
You have not put the big wheelhub back on the rear wheels is there a reason not too
They are not needed at the moment as I haven't got around to repainting the loader yet. Once I put the loader back on, I want to see if they are absolutely necessary. I don't really like the way the rear wheel weights look on the outside of the rim.
wow great job how much horse power
Engine: 77hp
PTO(Claimed): 65hp
Très beau tracteur! What is this song?
Merci! The song is Old enough to rock and roll by Rainey Haynes. It was from the movie Iron Eagle. One of my childhood favorites! Really good scene: ruclips.net/video/JeMzhlRXDe4/видео.html
what state you in hogslayer? Iam thinking of selling my 1394
I'm in central Texas. I've seen your posts on dbtc forums and must admitt that you have a very "one-off" 13. Did you ever get the 4wd working? I would guess that yours started out as a vegetable special and then someone took the front wheels put them on the rear for duals.
Yes. 4wd working now. I put new 24's on the front per the manual. And I believe your are correct that it started out as a vegetable special. I still haven't put the finals's back down. Were in central ky, so a pretty good piece from you it seems.
I would like to see some pics of it if you wouldn't mind sending them. My email is dfjanda@gmail.com
sure, be later this eve.
Are you going to put the loader back on
Yes, it has already been re-installed.
Cool.. but I would have keep the loader on it
I did put it back on about 2 months later than I completed the tractor. I did two loaders at once, one for the 13 and the other for the 15.
We're doing up a David brown to
Looks like a😅 4x4 truck with a tractor cab on it.
good tractors the db although the 1210 were ball of shite
Nice job, horrible background noise!
I guess you have never seen Iron Eagle
@@hogslayer no sir nor do I want to if that's the kind of noise they make!
@@jakevimont7776 Haha, fair enough.
@@hogslayer :)
Please check your inbox! I sent you an email. Looking for someone to help restore our old Case tractor.
Why the music
Why not? You have obviously never seen a airplane race a dirtbike! 80's movies were the best! Also don't have to worry about copyright claims with this one.
The music put me off. Hope you got a good job made of ger
You can see my yoke on my channel it worse
U lost me at the music...wtf
