Hi, great work on the rebuild. I have a DB 1490 seized (rain+sitting) and a case 1394 in a similar situation. Do you know if the engines are the same in the two. They sure look identical. Is it the AD4/55? Im going to be taking the heads off both to free them up and sell them in a sale soon.
before the engine was rebuilt she was 72, dont know what she is now as i have only used the dyno to run her in after the rebuild, seeing as she has had a full rebuild i would like it to be 83 (what they were when new) but will try her on there again this autumn

The heads are the same on 1490 and 1394. The only different I know is that the diameter of the crankshaft is smaller on 1394.
