Anno 1800 is a city building real-time strategy video game, developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft, and is set to be launched within April 2019.
It is the seventh game in the Anno series, and returns to the use of a historical setting following the last two titles, Anno 2070 and Anno 2205, taking place during the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century.
Following the previous installment, the game returns to the series' traditional city-building and ocean combat mechanics, but introduces new aspects of gameplay, such as tourism, "blue-printing", and the effects of industrialisation influences on island inhabitants.

I always knew that game mods would improve player experience a lot but i always hesitated to use it because of the complexity in their installation. This video of yours explains very clearly even the smallest notes. It really helps me a lot, modding is now as easy as turning on and off the computer. Thank you, a true hero of the community

I know this is like months later, but this helped me tremendously to install mods and have the things I want to build with. Level 50 in the game and it worked perfect!! I'm a tech dinosaur so these videos always help! Rode my roller coaster and ferris wheel yesterday :D You have got to love this game!!

After uninstalling it and adding it once more to another disk partition (not the program files), I finally got it working. Great thanks!
After uninstalling it and adding it once more to another disk partition (not the program files), I finally got it working. At first it didn't connect with Epic, but then went though to the ubisoft site and loaded from there. Further launches works from Epic games launcher now. Great thanks!
Thanks for the tip, after looking for another installation on another drive the mods now work.

Firstly, thank you for your series (Anno 1800 Ultimate Series) I am hooked!
I would like to reach out to find out if anything has changed regarding modding. I have watched this video over and over and have spent the last 45mins with 2 of my friends trying to get mods to work - with no luck. We have read through almost every forum and have ensured that we have not missed anything in this video.
Hence my now reaching out to you as we still cannot get the "modding detected" to show up.
Please tell me you have some idea as to how we can get them to work.

Update 06.01.2020.
Figured out the problem with mods not detecting. If you play through Epic - it will not work. You will have to uninstall and reinstall through Uplay. Then everything works fine :-)

@@tanhabhossain4651 Simply uninstall the game via Epic Launcher and re-install it through Uplay. As Uplay was forced on us anyway.. :-)

Hi Nivarias, thanks for your helpful video. I just downloaded the mods and the mod loader. Can I start with a new game incl. mods right away or do I need to test it on a save game first?
It's best adviced to start a new game or at least backup your main savefile in case it gets corrupted ;)

Just want to ask though, can I still play in multiplayer with mod? Cause we tried it with my friend, it didn't worked.
You can. But all of you have to get the exact same mod folder (just upload your mod folder to him)

hey, the mod loader isnt working here. i extracted the fidles inside the win64 and i have the mods folder already created in the main folder of the game. when i go to the main menu, it dosent show any message and i had donwloaded a mod that adds 100 logos. so i check out by creating a new game and there isnt any new logo there, so definitely there isnt any mod working 😭

Im using the military mod with the modloader mentioned here on the website from github. Now i want to add the mod "ai shipyard" from nexusmods. It uses another modloader. Can i just insert the mod files into the current modloader or do i have to replace the modloader files as well? if i do so, does that harm the old military mod in its functionality?
There is only one modloader. Just with different versions. Use the latest version and you'll be fine!

Whenever I download the Mod Manager it shows up as a "Application Extension" not a Win-Rar Zip. What am I doing wrong ?

Already put in DLL file and make folder mod with file inside, but in my title screen i cant finde mod detected, so let me know where i miss thankyou
Please can you confirm where I can find these mods:
Increase animal production
Increase mine production
Reduce farm space required
They aren't in Spice it Up
Look in Nexus Mods

For some reason, I am not getting the mods to actually load into the game. This isn't my first rodeo either. So I am at a loss as to what is going on.
I tried then install from Nexus the Mod Manager and though it is supposedly working proper and it detects the mods and says they are activated.
Still nothing????

It does not work . I did it like you showed it in ur video . Created mods folder , put spice it up into the mods folder and copied the loader files into the bin folder and overwrote the 2 files .
Restarted the game and still not working . even installed VC_redist.x64.exe although im sure i didn't need that . Brand New pc . hmm.....
How cool would it be if there was a mod that combines say anno 1800 and 2070 so you dont need 2 seperate games! I cant be the only person with this idea! and the internet seem to agree with me though yes yes you are the only one! I think its an awesome idea! Heck why not anno 1400 to 2205 lol that would be kick ASS!

Go into Ubisoft and go to the game. Then go to properties, then local files. Should work

Playing the game for a year, and I’ve just realized that annos official pics from Ubisoft shows different roofs, ships, harbor buildings etc... it’s so ridiculous 🤦♂️

This MOD video seems out of date. With the new MOD MANAGER, the installation of MODS has become more complicated, and the MODS can be a bit unstable.

why do you call this a how to mod? This is only how to install an existing mod.
I've extracted my RDA files and updated the info but now I'm looking for how to repack them and I can't get my info because videos like yours are showing up in the results.
