      I'm in a similar boat! Lots of games I normally like to standardize things in the way he shows in this video. But as I get a couple more hours, my enjoyment has been turning my frustration towards irregularly shaped boundaries from the rivers, coasts, etc into crop farms that perfectly fill those irregular shapes like water.
      The animal farms will work better for this, since the larger block animal pens don't fit as nicely into nooks and crannies, so I'm more likely to borrow these ideas for those.

    Thanks. I grabbed the zip file from discord, will absolutely be using a couple of them. I understand that this would be a huge time sink.. but it would be nice to have a vanilla version and a full DLC owned version of some of these stamps. I appreciate the effort that went into making these as they are and I will use them to make bright harvest upgraded versions. A job for during the coming week, I seem to be having a Satisfactory weekend. Thanks again.

    • @hakansaribal5093
      @hakansaribal5093 8 месяцев назад +7

      Beer makes money with artisans.
      Shnapps only good if you have plenty of workers.
      Rum makes money with engineers.
      So, you don’t actually need to provide shnapps for farmers. It helps lower the working conditions. It’s the same with beer. Unless you have over 1k worker workforce, building beer chain only cost you too much that prevents you from proceeding.

  • @hlocne

    • @parkeryoudontknowme1516
      @parkeryoudontknowme1516 Год назад +6

      It's more that artisans pay 3x as much for beer, once you have artisans beer is a good investment

    • @barrymacdonald3439
      @barrymacdonald3439 Год назад

      Beer is useless for engineers and investors which will make the bulk of your population as you can get items in game that can reduce workforce to zero so Beer in the long run is a waste of space to people so why bother as you don't need it to upgrade.

    • @Shiftry87
      @Shiftry87 Год назад +1

      There is 2 scenarios here and depending on which 1 its gonna depend on if your gonna wanna supply them beer. If your early on in the game and try to advance then no beer isent worth it to invest in. Workers simply dont pay enough for the effort to be worth it at this stage. I suppose u can still make abit of profit from it but its not gonna be very mutch.
      What is gonna be worth it is if your later into the game and try to build a seperate island for workers only then yeah that would be worth it. If your at that stage when u want a seperate island for workers only u tend to have alot of them and your using Community piers and at that point u have so many that beer, even for workers is gonna bring in quite a decent profit. But in general beer isent worth it before u get a decent amount of Artisans that really pays well for beer.

    • @hlocne
      @hlocne Год назад

      Oh I know WHY you wouldn't want to supply beer. Indeed, my reasoning is very simple: I don't want to settle a new island and you normally have to for hops.
      This game has turned into a rush to late stage artisans for me, where you have lots of dlc unlocked and some decent money.

    Probably a noob question, but what's the point of doing this? I understand why these works early game, but once you get electricity wouldn't half of your buildings that can use electricity be obsolete? Do you just place a lot of power generators and focus a lot of oil production, or delete these factories and replace them to be optimised for electricity when you unlock it?
    Again, I don't consider myself that good at the game. I'm probably just missing something.

    • @TakaYouTube
      @TakaYouTube  Год назад +3

      It's all equivalent even with electricity. Let's take beer for example... if you had 4 beer chain layouts and added electricity later, you could just delete 2 of the layouts. You would need to increase production of wheat and hops through either more farms, items/specialists, tractors, and/or fertilizer silos, but that can all be done within a single stamped layout.

    • @InimicusXII
      @InimicusXII Год назад

      @@TakaRUclips Thanks for the reply! I think I mostly get it.
      I'm just wondering, does that lead to more oil/maybe gas plants around to compensate? Farms have a large footprint, and to have industrial patches dispersed among farms would mean less industry would be supplied via the power grid of a single powerplant.
      Is that just a worthy sacrifice, and at the end of the day seen as more efficient?

    Dont supply beer yeah that was a wierd statment. If u only have worker pop on an island and another island with Investors then yeah i guess u could skip it and use the specialist that gives beer instead, Gordon the Master Groser i belive he is called or the 1 that focuses only on Worker needs. However if u happen to have Artisans on the island then it should be a no brainer to get them beer in some way.
    If these layouts are meant to be used before even getting to the later pop tiers then yeah u wouldent have these specialists and making beer should not be done before Artisans when Workers dont even pay that well for it.
    I havent played in a few weeks but sense when can u build the silo away from the main building? Can u do the same with the tractor shed?

    • @shinian6523
      @shinian6523 Год назад

      Yeah I always thought the silo had to be touching the main building. maybe they change d it. I'm pretty sure the tractor barn still does, since there is no radius associated with crop farms

    • @TakaYouTube
      @TakaYouTube  Год назад +1

      This was changed during the Seeds of Change DLC patch update. Silos no longer need to be attached to an animal farm to work. Tractor sheds and fertilizer silos still need to be attached to crop farms though.

    Okay so like. The whole "dont build steel beams" thing. Just buy from archibald blake.
    It doesnt work for those of us who play expert. He makes .5 then 1 per minute on that difficulty. Waiting 32 minutes (and no expansion or build up to new world) is excruciating.
    If another player is buying the goods from archibald... Then your never getting to artisans withing the hour.
