Recently my iPhone 14 pro started having recurrent shut downs.. It used to switch off and switch on by itself while sometimes showing a pink screen. I bought it in December 2022.. I never dropped it, nor did it ever get drenched in water. Service centre people said it has hardware (specifically motherboard) issue, which happens when water drops go inside, and repairing will cost 44K. Moreover, you will lose your data. I'm shattered now.. it feels like I should burn it or throw it in the dustbin now.

I agree that Motorola takes ages for OS-related updates. But I believe they thoroughly test an OS update's stability before pushing it out to the world. Good things take time!

I have seen so many youtubers who repair iphones without damaging the face id. I have heard that if we disconnect the battery flex cable immediately after opening the display then Face ID will work fine after repairing
My iPhone 14 pro max flickering with a Green screen since 10 days after 17.6.1 update.
Now it is completely green, cannot see anything. Service centre is asking Rs. 40,000 for new display.
No physical damage, no liquid damage. just because of update display is completely gone

Have you dignosticed the phone at authorised service centre?
If yes , then take the digostic report and call apple customer care , then make request on request to change it for free, it's high chance that they will do it for free

They are receiving the same complaints from many customers it seems..
@@AJStyle-v8d My iPhone 14 pro max display is replaced now with new one free of cost. I had called Apple support and explained everything. There were multiple discussions but finally they approved and replaced with new display.
They will ask us to go to service centre, submit the phone, get the diagnosis report and job sheet and send them. They will review and approve for replacement of display free of cost. Finally saved 42000 rupees, it took some stress with arguments and so on but finally they approved.
I hope this helps others also so that they can save their money since it's not our fault.
My 13 pro Max went kaput today... Damn! It's out of warranty... Hope they fix this free of cost because this was after I updated it 😭

I have got green line issues in my 15 Pro Max, after going to Berlin Apple Store they checked and then they changed the display free of cost , because it was not any physical damage. I still have got warranty left till 30 Jan, 2025.

my iphone 13 has black screen and green line both. Apple BKC has refused to give me out of warranty display replacement. my device is 2.5 years old. they have no idea why the issues happening. but they discriminate between users as they give display replacement for free to influential users like youtubers but refuse to normal users. The display issues are happening in iphone 12,13,,14, 15 pro and non pro models both regardless of the age of device. they just want users to spend more money for the problems and issues caused by apple's side.

@@amaangamingyt4537 mine is iphone 13 non pro model. Senior advisor has told me to approach apple bkc store manager. Online support from apple is a sham. They repeatedly try to put onus on customer without accepting the issue nor they have diagnosed why the display had turned black with green line.

Yeh iOS 17.6.1 update se mere phone ka sim corrupt ho gaya tha. Yeh toh maine khud hi diagnose kar ke network operator se sim change karwa liya. ₹100 lag gaye isme. Par haan, point yeh hai ki aaj kal Apple ki updates ko bhi trust nahi kar sakte. Ab yeh Apple bhi Xiaomi jaisa ho raha hai updates ke maamle mein. Maine ab automatic updates off kar diye hain.
Apke paas konsa phone hai or apne kab update kiya tha?

My Nov 2021 13 pro max used 3 years , today on ios 18 just blanked to white, due to work rush went to local store and costed me 4300 rs and shorted cable. Working well now.
Also can goto bkc to get free as people are saying in comments.

This is one of the reasons I canceled my iPhone order today (full UPI payment, no EMI). iPhones have so many limitations compared to Android-pay more, get less, and then pay even more for their mistakes. There are some things people should know about :--
1. The problem is still under investigation, that is why there is no official update from Apple.
2. Apple won't cover the damage of the device if there is any hardware damage on the device.
3. Green screen/White screen issue are not always triggered by software update.
4. I understand that the product service should match it's price, but if you arrive 20 minutes late at your own appointment time then obviously other people with appointments will be given more priority.
5. Apple can cover the damage even if it is been 30 days past warranty.
6. After your device is repaired, you get a 90 days of grace period of warranty, so if there's any hardware damage which occurs after the repair will be covered.
7. Third party authorised service center charges Service fee which is mandatory if your device is out of warranty.
8. Also I agree, service center employees are very rude. They show no sympathy towards customer issue and when customer demands something they just refer the customer to talk the Apple support.

Same here with my iPhone 14 pro max. without our fault display is gone.
Service centre is quoting 40000 for new display. I am also feeling the pain after 1.5 lakhs for the phone.
We have been using it with utmost care, no physical and liquid damage, still the display is damaged just because of Apple update.
As you said, if there is no physical or hardware or liquid damage they should replace it for free since the issue has come after update. But still service centre is not obeying it. If they us the proof of any damage I will accept, we know what happened with our phone.
No customer wants to pay hefty money just because it is damaged due to company's update.
Bro they replaced the display free of cost and that is the thing that matters. Great service by apple.

Hello sir, I have an iPhone 13 pro max, and I am facing the same issues of white screen. I went to an authorised iPhone service centre in Patna. He gave me the report mentioning it seems like a hardware defect and a scratch on the top enclosure. I called customer care, and told them "what it is this seems like, whatever the defect is, it should be mentioned properly. And because of the small scratch it will not affect the whole screen that too with horizontal lines". But they were saying no nooo because of the scratch only you got white screen on your phone. And you have to pay 32000. Idk what to do 🥺😭 I am really worried. And, I can't pay this much money to repair a screen which isn't my fault at all.

@@suleeshrajendran1110 Hey buddy! I had the same issue on 13ProMax, visited iCare authorised service centre paid 2250/- and submitted the phone. They've escalated it to apple and replaced with new screen. The same service centre witnessed 30+ cases within this month(Oct-2024) itself and all were replaced for free. It took 5-days in total for my case. Hope this helps :)

After this particular update my 12 started heating extremely, phone is getting switched off every time, after saying need to cool down. I went to them today, they said wait untill next update comes on 18th or 19th this month. they have charged 1500rs for diagnose. at kolkata. apple authorised service center.

I faced the same problem with my iPhone after I dropped it accidently, so no company will repair physical damage for free until and unless you have an insurance.

Mere ipad mai display chala gya tha..mai use authorised apple service centre le gyi..wha wo bole ki product mai koi screws nhi hote toh unko khol ke repair nhi kr skte toh ab ye dead hai toh aapko nya lena pdega..upar se 500rs le liye diagnostic run krne ke liye aur usme pura ipad format kr diya..aaj mai apna ipad ek local technician ke pass le gyi jo apple products se deal krta hai..usne mera display shi kr diya..I think this is the reality of apple service centres in india..unke pass skills nhi hai repair krne ki..aur unhi lack of skills pe paisa kma rhe nya bech kr.
Note: maine baad mai apple support pe bhi baat ki aur wha ki chat executive ne khud mujhse bola ki ipad display repair ho skta hai aur uske liye nya lene ki jarurat nhi .

My phone got green screen issue and went to apple store they said free screen replacement and suddenly i get call saying that your camera has pixel issue so u have to change the camera to get free screen replacement
