superbly syncronized, brilliantly delivered, outstanding musicianship- what a triumph: a great tribute to Liszt, capturing the spirit, vitality and daring of his work, not least his extraordinary ability to take ancient tunes, reincarnate and refashion them, faithfully, in such beauty and majesty. And nothing wrong with four pianos, nothing at all, oh no.
By far the best. I just can't understand how the asian school manages to understand it. But it does. Respect, This is the Hungarian spirit. Joy, sorrow, playfull at the same time. Thank you.
technically speaking, a guy named LangLang can play faster than the original version by Listz. By the way, using "copy" is dumb, they are just performing, not releasing a new piece. Using "play" is correct. Your english suck and you embarrassed yourself.
Aw, that's nuthin'. I can do this on my drums! ;) You should see Adam Gyorgy do this live, by himself, and with no sheet music. Totally blew my mind. Guy's like a phenomenon. Must take a Hungarian to do it properly!
Bráfó 4 pici támágoci :D :D sorry....Mivel magyar vagyok én is (Ti is?), így ez a favorit. Nemkülönben EZ ZONGORAMŰ!!! Orchestra is jól szokott sikerülni :) Éljen Liszt Ferenc!! Soká! Soká! ... Igyunk.
There are parts that i really enjoy listening to, but there are also parts where the synchronizing was a bit off and where it would have been "better" to only have one piano. As a whole I enjoy it when there are variations of a known classical piece and that is certainly the case for me, listening to these 4 pianists.
I dare to bet that the lady in the blue dress has a European (or western) background. Somehow you can hear it when Asian people play classical music; they have other dynamics and timings. Maybe it's a different sort of charisma then European people that causes this. Nevertheless, I think that Yundi Li is the best Chopin player in the world! Yet I heard from a fellow-pianist that he has a European background. I think there is definately some sort of genetical difference which causes European people to play classical music different than Asian people, yet Asians are definately beter in technique. The atonomy of their hands is simply more suited for piano playing (small, long fingers).
You're right, the lady in blue dress is actually a mix of british and chinese after some of my researching, and she graduates at a pretty shocking result in her uni too (I am not too sure what uni is she in..)
Out of synch and in the wrong key but I have to say I did enjoy it. Communication is the key. I did not see much of it apart from 1 or 2 occasions.....but as I said I DID enjoy it
Why should it matter what key it's in if it still sounds amazing? Until you're playing this piece 2x better than them, you can't complain about how they play.
Don't see the point of a 4-piano version. It's not adding much to the original version. The 4 pianos sounded very much the same, it's not as though they are different musical instruments. Is that why they changed the key, to make it sound slightly different?

So Beautiful. Thank you. Watching them play with all that emotion was delightful.
Oh, my sweet country, Hungary, my favourit componist, Ferenc Liszt! Bravo!
By far the best. I just can't understand how the asian school manages to understand it. But it does. Respect, This is the Hungarian spirit. Joy, sorrow, playfull at the same time. Thank you.
I can watch/listen to this over & over, I had to save to my favorites.
It is astonishing what humans are capable of, on so many levels.
Magnificent. Thank you for this amazing rendition. It's a fabulous piano piece.
You guys were having too much fun. What a joy. Congratulation! Hope to hear more from all of you. Sent with love. CVD
For people who haven't had the experience of ensemble playing, they really don't know how much fun it is to be a part of something like this.
ikrrrr
can't agree more
Wow I am speechless. Beautiful thank you !
Amazing 🤩
I enjoyed this arrangement. I found the greater sonority of four pianos to be more orchestral in effect than any single
piano version I have heard.
I probably shouldn't be as it was well executed, but I'm annoyed that it wasn't played in C-Sharp Minor.... :/
Now that you've pointed that out...playing it in C- bothers me greatly!
ssarmazi yah same im sure it was too simplify the song though, but cant this song be played by one person? why 4?!?
I totally agree. When I heard the first note,my heart sunk a little.
+Wicked Perfection (WickedPerfection) song ? lol
Yep . It's weird specialy if you have a good pinch
Why is it transposed 1 semitone lower.
Georgi Gyurchev cuz no one likes the key of Db minor
Jaidyn Camp If it's in C# minor, the last half will be in F# major and they will not be able to read!
Perfect pirchgo brrr
C major do be easy tho
Espetacular,maravilhoso...divino !!!
I don't think this really needed 4 pianos to do, but it was well done anyway.
Art by Atlas but synchronized wasn't weell
Yes quite
Me too
I much prefer it with one piano
Hope you can do it better
Good
After the first note I was disappointed... wrong key :/
+Lars Larsen I know right, Hungarian rhapsody no.2 is supposed to be in C sharp minor!
True. But I appreciate this interpretation.
Hello Hungary ! :D
Greetings from Romania
Liszt, Hamelin, Rachmaninoff, Hofmann, Katsaris: Look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power!
Excelente
cool four pianos that's what I need :D
🙏 Dankeschön ☯️🎹
Is this version an original by Liszt, or a transcription by someone else ? Just curious.
BRAVO!
Fantastic
Amazing.
Thank you !!!!!!
Great job!
F-ing amazing. Bravo!
why is it not in C# minor?
I thought u were dead
I kinda think friska sounds better in this key :/
If it's in C# minor, the last half will be in F# major that has 6 sharps and that's too difficult for them.
@@hungryfareasternslav1823 Makes sense because F minor has 4 flats and F major has 1
How many chinese do you need to copy Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2?
Omg lol
4 apparently
Bcuz they don't have their own shit!! Always intimate
rohit parte Go back to school and learn English before you post shit on youtube

Well that just sounds like Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 with extra steps.
Bravo !!!

I guess I kinda count as hungarian. Granddad was, and his dad was kinda the prime minister in the 40s so I kinda count.
The winner of chopin competition was Korean!
The second prize to a canadian!

And I'd never noticed how grand pianos fit together like that. Wonder if that's intentional? I don't see why they'd bother.
Jól csapkodták gruppenben Feribácsinkat :) Komolyra fordítva a szószt: nagyon tetszet! Nem kong a fülem! :D
GOOD GOOD VERY GOOD!
GREAT CONCEPT. NEEDS MORE RHYTHMIC INTEREST, ORNAMENTATION.

I don't know you guys... I kinda liked it...

why the tonality in changed???
Why should it matter what key it's in if it still sounds amazing? Until you're playing this piece 2x better than them, you can't complain about how they play.
FYI,
Doing this on four pianos is harder than do the whole piece alone, though it doesn't look like it :)
Horowitz needed only one instrument to play it MUCH better
Liszt is twirling- in agony or joy?
Nagyon jo zene. This is not a Hollywood rap.By tho........
Why C minor?
And I struggle to synchronise my two hands on the piano :p.
Indosiar logo?
nice)
for this i can only say victor borge
VONTATOTT ÉS HATÁSVADÁSZ . AZAZ JÓSZR
ITS NOT THE WRONG KEY DUDE ITS TRANSITION
WTF ! Cm..instead of C sharp m...
What's up with the wrong key? Do they change art for fun? Nobody changes a classical piece, it's like blashpemy.
A blasphemy of a rhapsody?!
I'll let myself out
THE TEMPO AND DYNAMICS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE! THIS IS BLASPHEMY!
Léon Ruhe probably to simplify it i disliked that they did it as well
F major is a nice key too besides F#

4 pianos and key transpose , to make it easier to play!!!
5:55 dat poker face
Needs more cowbell.
The prescription is...
You really need to cartoon and chill
they just fu.. destroy it

It don’t need 4 piano
One of them is consistently dragging....they didn't study under the guy from Whiplash, I see (hear?)
Unnecessary four hands, Liszt played all by himself!!!!
Who watch and read the comment ?
Me!!! Only because i was looking for people who noticed it wasn't played in the right key!
Se oye del nabo.
.
As if one asian was not enough...
In my opinion, this was the worst Hungarian Rhapsodie interpretation, ever! Sorry, didnt like it.
I have to say, that sounded terrible. And considering 4 pianists, i was expecting something more.
I agree, just didn't like it.
Uninspired sigh
TOO MUCH
