- Hey guys! It's been a long time since I've posted a video.. Life update: I started university earlier in August and have been pretty overwhelmed with school. But I'm currently having my holidays so I'll try my best to push out more videos for you guys! Hoping to be more active on this platform :)
Anyway! Early this year, I worked in my friend's funeral company (Harmony Funeral Care) for about 3 months. This video was filmed back in June during one of the longest weekend shifts I had. So glad that I documented it down so that I can look back at this experience!
Hope you guys enjoy this video and found it insightful! Do give a Like & Subscribe as it will mean a lot to me :)

I would like to take time to thank you and other morticians for taking such great care of our dead during this pandemic and beyond. Your service is greatly appreciated.

Salute to you and ur friends. You guys really worked hard and it was a hectic schedule indeed. I've never explored this topic before on RUclips and I came to know about a lot of things. God bless you buddy 😊👍
Amazing courage and good job accomplished. Really amazed with the disciplined timing . Great job and wishing you to be successful in your real career.
This vid was randomly recommended and i just wanna say its really interesting! Especially now covid some ways of doing things have changed. Also personally interesting to me because I was previously a porter at a local SG hospital here so i've sent the body from the ward to the mortuary haha. Was always curious during my job, what the funeral parlours do after receiving the bodies. I guess this answers most of my curiosity! hahaha thank you for the meaningful content!
Wow, you were a porter that’s so interesting too! 👍🏻 Thank you for watching too :)

Is there such a funeral service called direct funeral, in which the deceased do not want to host any funeral wake.? Instead they opted for direct cremation or burial on the same day of passing

If I die I want to be buried
Funerals are sombre moments.
It is disrespectful for your video to display so much laughter, jest and merry making.
Hi Philip, I understand your concerns. This video was created with the intention to give a more personal perspective as to what we do in the funeral trade, including the close interactions between colleagues. I did cross-check with others on the content before posting it up too. Hope you understand that we definitely do respect the work we do very much :) But I do apologise if it came across in a different way to you.
@@NicoleChowww
I understand where you are coming from. From international viewership, it is overdone in terms of jest. My personal opinion.
@@philipcheong2339 Understand. Appreciate your honest feedback!
Somber? What funeral you have been to that's somber? I know different cultures mourn differently but as a black American our funerals are filled with joy, laughter, and tears. We celebrate the life of the person that passed. We tell stories, jokes, and just be happy they were here. I wouldn't want any somberness, I want joy and laughter. I want life to continue and not stop.
