This is great! I would still be happy if they gave Ret Paladins some kind of mobility improvement for PvP but Ret is looking good.
No, only DH is allowed to have heal/surv/mobility
I think they should rework divine steed to be more in line with dh rush or monk roll.

🙄. The wings should make paladins fly like dracthyr and like there needs to be an ability where paladins can summon a squire that hits like a felguard, and like they should also be able to shape-shifting into a holy infused lightsaber-toothed tiger. Then paladins will be up to par.
I love it but the hammers falling down don't look like the Templar icon Hammer in the tree.

I can't believe how elegantly the geniuses over at the class design team were able to bring back exorcism's sounds and animation and fix our poor secondary stat scaling at the same time. Low key after the hero talents being able to see and hear old exo again and not even have to spend a global on it is the thing I'm most excited about

Give Paladins a throwing light spear that we can port to like our own version of “charge”

Idk if they will touch any of the range on pally abilities since our mobility is still untouched but I guess we’ll see!
What a damn shame. I always wanted a Hammer Paladin and now we can finally play a Hammerdin. Sadly i quited 2 years ago and sold half of my pc ….
The Divine Hammer rework is very interesting, primarily because it alters the normal way you would play, focusing entirely on spamming builders instead of spenders, which may be an awkward playstyle, especially with Hammer of Light for Templars.
I think it synergizes really well with templar. During empyrean hammer rain buff you need to spam your generators to increase the duration of the rain. You would just end up using divine hammer after you use lights hammer.
@@LvladenPvP aye that's fair point, but with the CD of Wake of Ashes being that short, I envision myself struggling to fit it in nicely haha

@@VictorZobbe mounted combat doesn't mean anything if the rotation feels lame af. Sure, you're riding on a horse with a bunch of NPCs boosting your DPS for you, but you're still awkwardly applying and popping festering wounds, juggling a ton of different abilities in the opener, etc. Ret paly just feels so much snappier.
i was waiting on this one looks like 2 minute crit wings is back slaty they took our only good slow from wake of ashes they already took hand of hinderance we gotta stop letting them take that away from us but other than that i absolutely love these changes like stacking greater judgment its like giving us old vanguard of justice baseline and im geeked about mastery and yes im a huge fan of exorcism wish we still had it tho looks like we will be fine i kinda wish it was 20 yards on lights hammer but they will prolly nerf it if they did which is prolly coming anyways in pvp
I mean the slow on wake kinda got shifted a little bit to the firebrand Pala with dawn light slowing by 50% but yeah it does suck

@@Gunship888 it seems the other hero tree is for you then check out his new video. It looks to be taking one minute wings because actually using wings juices you and gives you a mini haste boost similar to crusade and you want the extra 20% crit because of the burn to ashes talent extending truth's wake when it crits and giving you a dot damage amp while it's up. It looks so cool and ret gets a bonified dot damage profile that's going to work so well in m+. Plus the super jacked hammer of wrath damage looks so juicy too. I'm so excited bro

Fun fact: the wings your logo has, behind his shoulder armor, will actually be part of the new tier set for paladin, who looks horrible, unfortunately. But the overland sets looks amazing and are all paladin themed thanks to that new faction of humans that are kinda like scarlet crusade.
Palas way behind mobility wise, dmg wont matter if you cant get to a target or run away from one.
Doesn’t hold us back on retail! We have really good range.

Without a doubt. People on retail are already sustaining 300k on some fights, so with 10 more levels, a ton of item levels, and Hero Talents giving us mega buffs, it's def gonna happen. War Within will definitely have Legion numbers, mark my words.
It’s funny how these hero talents depend entirely on you selecting wake of ashes as a talent. Like what if you don’t talent into wake? Just no war within for you? 🤔

Idk it feels too hasty and fast paced for a Retribution Paladin these days. Almost like a Monk gameplay in a way
I'd rather have heavy hitting execute abilities then all this rapid button pushing to make my brain think Im doing cool things. Need to take a page from the Dawi and read off all the Grudges as we sentence enemies to death.
@@fizzbrew I agree, Retribution should imo feel more like Arms Warrior, your main abilities should feel amazing to use and blast like hell, this is just becoming a Rogue / Monk rotation which doesn't fit with the class fantasy
Maybe let's finally talk about how shitty the retri paladin is in defense because of these fucked up bubbles and debuff after using them in pvp.
I’m torn on Templar. The gameplay looks fun don’t get me wrong. But Hammers for the theme is very lame. This should be swapped to Swords.
Past this, Unrelenting Charger needs attention.
This talent should at minimum, trigger an automatic Emancipation on ourselves. A root break/knock back is also acceptable.
Honestly, I would much prefer Unrelenting Charger augment Divine Steed completely in a new/exciting way.
Either a short dash forward or a direct charge.
As cool as this is, pally players will find a way to whine that daddy blizzard give them more. It's just the pally way.

Lets get real...there is nothing insane about it. They can make ret feel good and do whatever toward it, but it will be like 7th at best on the DPS meters compared to the other classes. Blizzard is great at the illusion that they are doing new things, but it will be the same o same o.
