MET ANGELA BACK IN 2015 AND TOOK PICTURES WITH HER AND SHE WAS JUST THE NICEST PERSON YOU COULD MEET. AND EVEN SANG THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST SONG I HAD ASKED HER ABOUT. YOU CANT GET BETTER THAN THAT.
Holy shit lol I never realised the intro transitioned from a typewriter to a PC 😂. I must have only ever seen the older episodes as a kid, that's actually pretty cool
@@benphillips9973 yes i know. It's one of those shows that you usually associate with the 80s, but actually it was on as much in the 90s. I was 16 in 1996. I don't really remember if I watched it then but I definitely watched it when I was younger. There wasn't very much on in those days haha
@@john.premose Hahaha you were a few years ahead of me but 100% there wasn't much. That I can definitely remember...at least for awhile. We ended up getting cable or something similar as I definitely remembered having Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon on after school
@@benphillips9973 yeah my parents rarely could ever keep the cable on. We would get it sometimes for a month or so and then they'd shut it off because they couldn't afford the bill. So it was mostly just rabbit ears if I was lucky back then and mostly just fuzzy channels from the nearest city that had tv stations because we always lived in little semi-rural towns
Seasons 10 thru 12 was when Jessica Fletcher realized it was time to wake up and smell the upcoming digital age. She had to get with the times, because when it came to writing, typewriters became a thing in the past.
Do you have the one for the episodes that had Keith Michell playing Stanton where he was included in the opening credits? I can't for the life of me remember ever seeing it, even when he was in it and according to IMDB, when an episode focused on him, he'd be in the opening credits as well....
Opening 1: (1984-1987) The original opening. Opening 2: (1987-1991) Adjusted to reflect Angela Lansbury's facelift Opening 3: (1991-1993) Adjusted to reflect Jessica's relocation to NYC. Opening 4: (1993-1995) Adjusted to reflect Jessica's switch from typewriter to computer. Opening 5: (1995-1996) Adjusted to reflect Jessuca's use of a laptop.

R.I.P. Angela Lansbury 1925-2022
Lansbury was born in London and when she was 15, she moved with her family to New York City because of the Blitz.
Her birthday was on the same day as mine which is October 16th but she’s about 72 years older than me

I give respect to Angela Lansbury.

Yes I didn’t remember that either. But the show was on until 1996 so it does make sense.
@@john.premose Wow 😳 I didn't realise it was still on then! Probably cus it was on CBS and my folks mostly was ABC/NBC haha

As of 11/8/23, I've seen all 264 episodes of Murder, She Wrote; plus all 4 Murder, She Wrote post-series telemovies.
Seasons 10-12, the title was completed by computer (Seasons 10-11 by desktop, Season 12 by laptop).
Still remains an timeless hit.
Angela will be sadly missed by us all
I was born in 84 when Murder, She Wrote aired for the first time on TV and I was 12 when it ended.
Me too!
This is very awesome and cool great job recording it like all of them

This is what the Internet is for
Can you do something like this but with the end credits please thanks
Craig Ferguson: Do we have a picture of Paul McCartney?
_(a photo of _Angela Lansbury_ is shown full-screen instead)_
It’s a tie for me between Seasons 4-7 & 10-11.
Love it

Release history of Murder, She Wrote:
9/30/1984-9/1996 CBS
9/1988-1997 USA Network
Heh heh heh. She finally gets a computer in 1993 after half a century on a typewriter, and a laptop in 1995.
When I was a kid I thought the part where she gets pushed was funny!
CBS

I was raised on this shiz.
