My question is WHY didn't either of them hear the scuffle coming from the bathroom obviously when the fuse blew from the tv being thrown into the tub they knew something must have happen, must have been sound proff walls and ceilings! 10:01

Dead Man's Gold was the introduction of Jessica's niece Nita Cochran. It is unclear whether she is Jessica's niece by blood or by marriage, but her parents (unnamed) are both deceased and she was raised by her grandmother, Agnes.

I like the fact that jessica knows how to use extreme esprit de corp along with kindness,them take deep breathes🙄😏😣😥🙃😟.
Esprit de corp? Something like sass, or hard-hitting honesty? I think she did a fairly good job of being polite with a put-down here.

Everyone jokes about Cabot Cove's murder rate - but Jessica always encourages her non-Cabot-Cove friends, who are getting through an illness or trauma, to visit Cabot Cove for the "medicinal" qualities of the sea. She offers that invitation / advice to Ellen, the actress friend being referred to here. Maybe the real healing factor is Jessica...Ellen's husband kind of seems to think that, at the end of this episode.

I thought of that too. EVERYONE loves Jessica - and many are "in love" with her - even after she fingers them as murderers. The husband of the woman she's being protective of in this scene flat-out calls her a miracle worker in this episode. I loved her line at 7:21 - but I could imagine this writer twisting it to start a rumor that Jessica made a death threat against her.
A generation of how "Murder, She Wrote" appeared on CBS for 12 years. Still, this video is in High Quality while I was not born in both the year 1984 and in 1996, but I was born in the year 1998.
You can see society evolving over the 12 years. In some ways for the better - there are more and more females in business, media, etc who aren't secretaries... and lines like Jane's "terrific in bed" aren't found in earlier seasons...in other ways - it's questionable whether it's for the better. Jessica becomes a little more out-there and direct with some of her insults.
I betcha the guy that ran out the house only found the body but frantic.
Especially since he and his wife are friends of Jessica's - the same friends she is talking about in the restaurant scene with the gossip writer (character name is Jane Dawson.) That couple is among the more sympathetic of the people Jessica has helped - they seem like nice people who are devoted to each other. There are other people whose names Jessica clears or whose lives she makes better who...don't really seem worthy of it.

Jessica was REALLY awesome in the scene where Jane (the biographer character) is trying to get her (Jessica) to dish the dirt. Completely shooting her down, yet very...nice. And, in the course of investigating Jane's murder, Jessica talks with Beth, and learns some things about Jane that put her in a more sympathetic light (a past Jane was ashamed of) - and Jessica agrees to keep that all private if it has nothing to do with the murder.
I love the "your books are only half-fiction" line. Of course she means "my books don't purport to be talking about real people" but that was a much shadier way to say it.

Unless it would be her associations with people like Dennis Stanton and Harry McGraw.
When I started watching I knew Jessica would be clever. I didn't know she'd be such a master of burns. After she gives a shock jock what might be called a taste of his own medicine in "Killer Radio," a character comments that she "hits harder than a linebacker on a Sunday afternoon" and "floats like a butterfly and stings like a sidewinding missile." But most of the time she remains...nice. With the shock jock episode, I had to stop and think about whether she was sinking to his level. It's definitely a little more blatant than this burn here.
When the lights went out it sounded like a fart, had to rewind 😂🤭🙉
