My twin brother, two older sisters and I used to watch this with our late father. He loved Angela Lansbury, and Murder mysteries. Anytime Hercule Poirot came on he would make a b-line to the living room. Every time we would say, “Dad, we feel like a Murder Mystery Marathon(MMM later on),” Dad would start making popcorn, and other snack foods. Fond memories with Dad can’t be beat. Daddy I still miss you.

Just realized how good of a person Jessica was. Strong but very gracious to everyone around her consistently. I've known plenty of people like this in real life but it's really 'out of fashion' to write a main character like this these days. In modern media we get more "complex" (troubled and inappropriate) heroes these days.

Angela played Emma again in season four in the episode titled It Runs in the Family. Jessica doesn't appear at all, it's only Emma who takes after her cousin Jessica and solves the crime. I didn't think it was as good as this episode though. But that's just my personal opinion

I always find it interesting how the British are totally preoccupied with accents. Bad or generic American accents are pretty much ignored by Americans. It's just not imporyant enough. But the British will be offended it their accents aren't spot on AND regionally approriate, even down to the correct side of a street.

@@ronaldcammarata3422 You should watch some Chinese shows. Actors are often dubbed over because they don't speak the proper Mandarin dialect. The reason for that is that while all Chinese dialects primarily use the same words, it's a phonetic language, how you pronounce one character affects its definition.
