On the BRIO, I think you need to disable most of the automatic settings for exposure in the embedded control panel (Not the Logitech app, but the one with the Windows GUI), in order to fix the weird shutter speed issue. Might not be for your case (Or if you weren't willing to muck with gain), but it forced the faster shutter speed for low light. I like the BRIO, but I hate the software support so, so, so much.

I have two of them. They're great cams in a pinch and deal pretty okay with low light (good enough for a call to grandma, not a live stream). Definitely b-cam material if used in a live stream.
My only issue with them is the auto focus noise being weirdly loud. It's like the focus mechanism is physically coupled to the mics and so the movement gets picked up add sound. Best not to use the mic if you can help it.

I feel like everybody forgets that the Brio does have a 1/4" mount. You just twist/pull the monitor mount off and it's right there.
The 1st Razer made you look jaundiced and the mic was picking up a weird high pitched sound. Both looked better in the gaming setup, but that's to be expected.
The Kiyo Pro sounds like a decent mic.
The skin tones on the Elgato are just weird, even after tweaking.
The Nexigo's show blotchy skin tones in office or gaming setups, but for the price are impressive.
The ones with the bowtie effect really bug me though.
Still happy with the Brio as an all around device, but I can confirm it's weakness is low light performance. The 4 year old model has held up well.
The C270 is a solid budget option, and it's small, so good for travel.

Got the Razer Kiyo Pro during Prime Days for $150. At that price, it is an excellent webcam for the video and audio quality that you get. Might be a toss-up with the Logitech Brio if it was at it's full $200 price tag.

The Logitech BRIO is the one that looks best to me. Although I do have one, I bought it for its Windows Hello capabilities. When it comes to my own needs, the rest of the features are just icing on the cake.

Thanks, this was great. One feedback though: I think my preference became biased straight away because camera 1 was so good and my brain got anchored to it. I wanted it to be the best because of the good first impression so I started to dismiss even comparable cameras. So maybe next time the audience could have one minute blind taste test with two different scenes first before the deep dive please? Anyway Razer KIYO PRO and Logitech Brio advanced to finals in my hunt :)

Having tried the Logitech Brio and C922, they both have this annoying problem in OBS where you just can't reliably save the camera settings from one session to another. I hear it's a common problem with Logitech webcams. I gave up and just went the mirrorless route eventually. So much better.

Wow glad I got the Kiyo Pro now, in the streaming environment test there it absolutely dicks on the Elgato which I did not expect. The Brio seems pretty excellent but you can see the 30FPS movement isn't great - although I noticed the Razer took a hit to FPS if you turned exposure up above a certain level. The Jelly Comb is frankly amazing for that price.
It would have been nice to see some commentary at least on the software for these cams, as one big issue with a lot of Logitechs is getting them to remember settings - whereas the Razer and Elgato save camera settings to the camera itself so you can even move them to another computer entirely and they will give you the option to load settings from the camera. While Synapse is "OK I guess", I suspect where Elgato will excel here is their software.

Thank you so very much for such an awesome review :).
I have four Logitech cameras setup for when I stream. One being the HD Pro C910, another being HD C525, HD C615 and the C922 Pro Stream. But I have to say, I think that NexiGo N60 looks so much better than the Logitech webcams that I own.
Although I am wondering how the N60 would compare to the Logitech Streamcam which does 60FPS at 1080P which would roughly cost me around $100 AUD more.
Nonetheless, thank you so very much for buying and taking the time to review all these webcams, as it has given me more to think about.

The Elgato Facecam's ability to expose the whole scene, not just the main subject, in low light ... is seriously impressive. It reminds me of using a DSLR from a few years ago with a high end lens. The ISO performance may be noisy in low light, but when your surrounding lighting is balanced correctly its going to eat the lunch of every other camera.
This presents a pretty tricky quandary for buyers. Are you lighting your scene and subject correctly? Then its facecam ALL DAY ... are you not a pro photog? Buy the one that makes the "best" of any setting and light you throw at a webcam on any given day.

One thing I noticed with the Brio (at least with mine) - when you use 1080p60, the visual quality looks more like 720p than 1080p. Changing framerates back to 30 makes it proper 1080p again. It's weird and annoying, and didn't change at all over several firmware updates so I think it does drop the resolution if you want 60fps. (I captured a few still images and zoomed in, and it really looks like it went down to 720p even if the settings said 1080)
Edit: forgot to say that I was comparing the settings in the Logi Capture software, which should be the best possible scenario as it's their own app
