      I just want to let you know that there was no advice here. Casting and casting process is the lease of the things under an actors control. I felt the entire piece was very amateur. You haven spoken about branches of acting? Visualisation, characterisation, imagination, and so many other things. Just givin basic info about how casting works and what an actor should do is not acting advise. If you are investing time in putting up video to help the community than please do it with complete info.

    Hi, thank you so much for your informative acting lesson videos. I'm pretty new and still young so I know I got lots of time to build my career, though it sometimes feels like I'm a crunch time because I'm 22 and just now starting. I feel like I learn so much from you so I appreciate that. I wish I had enough money right now to book skype lessons with you, because I feel like you could really really help me but I haven't yet gotten my day job. I'm gonna keep you heavy in mind though once I do have the money and continue learning through your free video lessons.

So I will definitely watch your other videos. Thank you and namaste 🙏🏽.

    I was wondering if you could post a video demonstration of a skype lesson and of an audition example (I remember you saying something about having an audition test at 6 months time or something). It would help to know what to expect and for people to decide whether it's worth it or not. I'm not saying it isn't. It's just I kind of don't trust much the idea of having lessons through a computer. And I bet other people think the same.
    Again, thanks.

    Hello Brad Heller! I really enjoy your videos! I want to thank you so much for inspiring me to continue to pursue my dream of becoming an actor. This is my true passion and thanks to your videos, I’ve obtained the proper tools to improve my acting skills and to create a plan to start an acting career. An important thing I’ve learned from you is that wether or not I feel it’s too late for me, I must push on with this dream because decades down the line, I WILL regret never having pursued it. You’ve made acting an attainable trait to my mind and that’s such a priceless gift an aspiring artist could ever hope for. I wish you all the best in your acting studio and your over all career. 🙏🏻💪🏻💯

    Does a vivid imagination and having been around the world and different people in every walk of life prerequisite for being a excellent actor???
    Is it possible for me to be a lead, cause I am constantly being told that I am good looking but I wanna hear it from the pros???
    I have a physically emotionally mentally personality that I almost feel like it controls me ..I’m a very emotionally capable and physically built to also be able to do action sequences for I am trained in martial arts and I would love to be the heavy to Tom Cruise. But I study method like Daniel Day Lewis.
    How much money will it take for me to become fully trained and confident in my trade craft so I can get major role in big studio projects....please guide me in the right direction for I am alone in this process. I have no support system and I hope that I can be able to make my life in the workplace and have other actors be my family

    Hi, Brad. I have a question... What if you have difficulty memorizing things? In this particular case, texts... Are there any tecniques that may help you with that?

    • @thehellerapproach
      @thehellerapproach  10 лет назад +3

      First good idea is to learn the lines alone. Cover the words, then uncover them as you go.
      Just take in some of the words, then close your eyes and repeat them in a silent voice. Don't try
      and act them at this time. What you want to do is to learn the words by rot. It is even a good idea
      to write the lines out on a piece of paper. Repetition is a good thing for memorizing your lines.

      Katishcka Chanderlal sometimes the role will call specifically for an Indian, sometimes it needs someone else, you can't rally play an African American if your a white person, just keep an eye out for jobs that need an Indian,
