An Actor's Warm-Up | Part One | National Theatre
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 30 окт 2014
- This is a short physical warm-up that is suitable for actors to do before auditions, rehearsals or performances. It will work your body in different ways, getting your heart rate up, stretching, and connecting the breath.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all warm-ups are suitable for everyone and this or any other warm-up may result in injury. To reduce the risk of injury, never force or strain, use the exercises only as intended and demonstrated, and follow all instructions carefully.

BTEC performing arts: RESEARCH HOW TO BE A PERFORMer
This is aerobics with some Yoga. Because it goes to fast it does not give the actor time to really go inside his body. These exercises are imposed from outside, they don't come from inside the actor.
This is a physical, you would adapt and spend more time.
Record a vid doing this gona be my homework 😥
wow drama homework! -Cob

what's the music abt?
👏
siitttaaaa
Why does Sita put such an emphasis on getting "heels to touch the floor" during jumping? (She mentioned it in this video and another.). Sounds potentially more dangerous than simply staying on the balls of the feet and naturally flexing ankles according to the level of impact. Maybe there's a stylistic or psychological reasoning behind her recommendation?
+Jordan Rosin If you do not get your heels on the floor, you run the risk of over tightening/shortening the achilles and giving yourself shinsplints.
Jordan Rosin it's also the correct way of doing it. Not putting your heels down can cause strain in your anterior tibialis (personal trainer here)!
@@oeu3669 Solid, thank you
Dancer here- shin splints
