I've just been gifted one. Think it's 11' x 7' going to be using it as a workshop. I've got to put a hard base down (council orders), so I'm using old coucil 3' x 2' slabs. I'm going to line it out once it's up with 3' x 2's and OSB and build a work bench. Just subscribed, so I'll have a look through your videos over the next few days and see what you're making. Oh and I've just been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia so it's going to be fun and therapeutic starting out on my woodworking journey. Looking forward to seeing more projects from your channel. 😊

Hi Mark, thankyou for watching Adi's Little Shedshop, that is awesome being gifted one and a great size 11' x 7' we originally looked at the security version at that size with the little windows at the top, but I gotta overulled by Mrs S. Council slabs is a fantastic idea they are a good 2" thick too, I would recommend once it's up and settled for a couple of days to then attach it to the floor too because those slabs will give it a stupid amount of extra weight, good luck with it. I am sorry to hear about the fibromyalgia, just take your time and get some help you will definitely need it, also swearing is life's cheat codes. Being disabled myself I completely understand. Good luck.

I extended the base of our old shed with some more 2x2 slabs, wouldn't recommend using pallets! I let the Mrs put the window in.....easiest bit! Yes last two roof panels were a pain, used a flat prybar. Top tip, don't assemble in cold weather as the plastic will be brittle.

Thankyou for watching Adi's Little Shedshop, we were going to use slabs but it was possibly only going to be a semi permanent placement as the Mrs is already thinking of knocking down the old wooden shed and getting one of the better Keter ones so it'll probably all have to move for some concrete to go down. It does have some 50cm Rebar stakes that have been added since the video tho which is handy. That's a top tip and never even thought about the cold, I bet it would just shatter with a little love TSP from the mallet.

Can you put the window on the other side? Are the sidewall panels interchangeable

Hi thankyou for watching Adi's Little Shedshop, I'm pretty sure you can put the window in any one of the 4 corners of the shed as the panels are interchangeable. If you are thinking of getting one definitely read through the manual first but I reckon you can definitely pop it in each corner as long as there isn't a brace in the way.

Was there any sealant used in the build

Hi thankyou for watching Adi's Little Shedshop, I did buy some sealant to actually seal each piece, then decided not to use it after nothing really fit together as it should, but it has been through some serious weather including 50mph winds and so far it is still standing, only leaking once. That was quickly fixed with some P sealant around the doors. If you are building one I wish you luck, I hope you have a better version of it than I had, there was way too much swearing that day.

I'm not a contractor or even play one on TV, but I do know if these aren't put on very level ground, it is a bitch to line up drill holes, roof or door. Need to be anchored down or it will be the property of the little old widow who lives a block away.

Thankyou for watching Adi's Little Shedshop, I totally agree with that statement these are extremely hard to put up on uneven ground we helped with one before we got ours and learned that lesson there which was quite handy because normally I would just eye it and say that'll do, this time took ages levelling the floor out and screwed the flooring to the pallets. Since filming we put 50cm Rebar stakes in to make sure it doesn't end up in our neighbors. Thankyou and keep watching
