Animenz is the best at bringing anime music to the piano. There are very few arrangements of his that I don't like, and this was one of them, but you managed to make it one of my favorites with the changes you made. Congratulations! P.S.: Is there a place where I can buy the sheet music?
I just discovered your channel and I am surprised by all the effort you have made in each of your videos, I have a question, how long have you been playing the piano?😄
I initially learnt this for about 3 weeks a year ago but I had bad stamina due to poor technique so I was never able to play it through properly. So after improving my technique I practiced it again for 2 weeks this year prior to recording & I was much more comfortable.
I use vsl VST for most of my performances but I change the settings according to the vibe of the song. If you listen to my Ashes on Fire vid for example, the sound is more rough while here is more crisp.
@@pianokage Thank you for letting me know. I currently have Garritan CFX. Mine doesn’t sound great because my keyboard is defective and I need new keyboard. So on board and vst sounds are both bad. They sound very thin, therefore I can’t record quality content atm. But once I get a new piano I may look at VSL. I like Garritan but I feel it’s a bit dated and needs an upgrade. I will either go with a p-515 again or Yamaha 184r. Likely the 184r.
For more context, I'm still struggling with pieces for early advanced or about abrsm 5-8.. I can probably sight read grade 2 pieces on the spot, but I still struggle to complete a grade 4 piece in a day or so. Maybe I lack effort... I'm currently playing what seems to be pre-advanced piece. Should I step down a notch and practice easier pieces or should I continue this way? I really want to learn anime songs, however, I don't feel any satisfaction when I play an easier version of a piece. I'm aiming to play an animenz piece in atleast 3 years... Can you give me some advice?
I actually don’t practice scales & arpeggios 😬 I did practice them when I was starting piano for a year or so but now they mostly come naturally to me unless it’s a very weird sequence I haven’t seen before in the song, then I’d practice it on the fly
You can certainly start playing Animenz pieces, just look for easier ones like Avid or Hikaru Nara to start getting familiar with the 3 hand techniques & slowly build to harder pieces
The🐐 did it again! this was a masterpiece
I couldn't expect any less from our Kage

I’ve played for 6 years :)
Insane performance, I like how u tackled this arrangement. How long did it took for u to learn?

@@pianokage thats amazing! Well done mate
What settings are you using? Default CFX with default VRM and concert reverb?

Amazing performance ! May I ask what age did you start playing the piano to get this good !? :D
Thanks! I’ve been playing for over 6 years
Do you practice scales and arpeggios everyday?
