Sunken cost falacy, the people will question "what was it all for?" and I remind you that about half a trillion dollars worth of economic and military aid has been given to Ukraine, and they still can't beat back the Russians. The Western leaders has put too much money into this war and they will get nothing out of it, that's why they can't stop it because it HAS to yield some results in order to justify the support they gave. People are already not happy, what do you think will happen when people realize that the war was just a massive waste of money and that the war could've ended quickly without the support being given.
Then there will de no money write offs. No corporations selling new equipment to wealthy countries and no old equipment dispersed at a discount as a loan to ukraine. You see it seams like ukriane is getting the benefit. But if you think each new equipment is 100% cost sold and old equipment is 10% of the cost then essentially US is selling it's equpment at 100% minus 10% discount. It's very profitable! No recycling or utilization of the old equipment is needed either. Plus slavs are fighting each other. No morals involved just cold cash.
