After living like this for 8 months, and this video worked, great wifi... all other devices work, just my phone drops it every minute, thank you good sir. The forgetting and restarting worked.
If your phone frequently disconnects and connects automatically from WiFi and you are fed up of everything you tried in your phone but still didn't find solution then just login to your WiFi router page then go to network settings then just disable the IPv6 option. It's 100% working.
It doesn't reduce my speed or anything right? I use MI phone and it disconnects frequently and I had to turn off and connect it again to work or have to wait for sometime
@@rahulwave1998 No nothing happens to the speed. Even I had this issue in MI phone which was frequently disconnecting from wifi. Then I just turned off IPv6 option from my WiFi router page settings and it's totally working fine😊
thank you!! it really helped. Changed it from IPv4/IPv6 to IPv4 and it worked. I then changed it back to IPv4/IPv6 and the disconnection issue didn't occur.
the problem still there until the random ID switch to Phone ID or device that samsung most commonly had this setting..check youtr video before it ends time: 1:35 your wifi set to random MAC add that the old registered will the only mac accepts mostly and if keeps randomly change the Mac its not good specially if the wifi router has registered the phone id that has already installed
I hope this makes some kind of sense. When I can't get on internet, or my connection is suddenly lost, I can go to settings, then to internet. Always, wifi is switched on. I can't use internet with wifi turned on. I manually turn it off. Within minutes it switches back on. Do you have a fix for this?
High spec phones with builds 11 up are design to cut off hotspot to save your battery life going low or from over heating. Phones with builds 10 and below don't have that problem

Just go to wifi settings if suppose you have wifi assistant then click on that and you will see something written as wifi or data which ever has best frequency connect to that and mainly if your wifi signal is bit poor then it automatically goes to data so you have to just disable that thing. I did it and it works
Rebooting the phone does work but depends on your luck cause mine work but after 10 minutes it keeps disconnecting another one was 2 hours after that it keeps disconnecting. So just try to find a technician to actually know the answer since there isn't really a permanent solution for this

Wrong diagnosis, when I'm at home I run Wi-Fi, when I'm on the road I run mobile data, the problem happens at home and on the road. Turning off mobile data will only stop me from using the phone outside of my house. I wish the fix was that easy but it's not.

for me it didn't work. Maybe for another type of issue, but for my redmi note 8 I had to leave the WIFI and the Airplane mode, both on. and it works just fine.

This fix did not work for me because the switch to mobile data was already off is there another way
