But a few months back it suddenly lost my wifi and I've tried everything here multiple times but it just doesn't find it anymore. My phone connects to other networks without a problem though..

Didn't think this could possibly be the problem, because my laptop was connected to my wifi and that was working fine. Well, whaddaya know, it worked! I unplugged the cord from the router unit (instead of from the wall), waited about 30 seconds for dramatic effect, then re-connected. Now my phone is connecting to the wifi just fine.
Was it just your android device, but other devies still connected also? Roku and on demand for my tv service work, just not my android phone anymore. I tried unplugging the router, but still isn't working. I had a tough time connecting to a public wi fi at a business the other day, but it eventually connected. Maybe my phones wi fi is just starting to go bad? its a 91 dollar go phone lol. my iphone when it worked got the wi fi password error also, and I changed wi fi name and password. now it's happening with my android.
@@deadlycreature3359 Yes, only my android phone was not connecting to my wifi. There was no problem with my laptop-wifi connection. Sorry to hear you're still having issues. I have no idea why unplugging/replugging the router worked in my case. Wish I had the answers for you. Hope you figure it out soon.

For a long time, Samsung phones running Android 10 intermittently returned the error, "connected but no internet". Neither of these fixes worked. The problem went away after the device was updated to Android 11.

Unfortunately, none of these fixes worked for me. The problem started when I upgraded my internet modem/router, my older android which is no longer connected with a data service shows that it is connected to my wifi but then displays a message that the android can not connect to the internet using that wifi. It connects to other wifi services and my new phone and other devices connect easily to the same wifi, except for my old laptop which doesn't even recognize the new wifi. Is this just a compatibility issue or can it be fixed somehow?

There's a brand new fix that just occurred just now for android where I had to forget my AT&T router network re log in (looked like a new thing and wants to do the web login for some dumb reason suddenly)( it takes you to a blank page) 😮-fix--> and then you have to click the menu button on the top right and it gives you 2 options and I had to choose "use this network as is"😢😢😢❤

My router connected my computer to the internet because it was connected with a cable but wasn't connecting to anything wirelessly. Tried all your suggestions to no avail. Apparently there is a little button ontop that turns on the wireless. I simply pressed that button and the wireless turned on.

??? WHY WILL apple Iphone connect to my wifi but ANDROID NOW WILL NOT???? My android was working fine until I turned it off and back on, but now it and my backup android both won’t connect to wifi as new connection or anything and my iphone is still connected working on wifi. at moment.

I’ve one every single step. When I unplug my router he plug it back in, it connects fine for 3 minutes then goes right back to no internet . I’ve given up

Might I suggest number 10: changing your WiFi password? Because that did it for me. My old password had been inherited from a different modem and when I tried to connect a new phone it didn’t work :)
I have been using android for the last 13yrs and i never faced wifi issues. I think you are making a video just creating a bad look for android. I have an Apple iphone 13 as well. I face iphone have more wifi issues than android.
You forgot, "Oh make sure your system date is updated - if it's more than a couple months out your phone will NOT connect to any network, WiFi, mobile or otherwise" nowhere did i read this until i figured it out myself.
Very odd day, wifi was kinda out phone and tv - but had ethernet on computer and worked fine. Just had to do a classic plug out and back in and things went back to normal.
The only problem I have and that I've always had is on some networks is asks you to choose an EAP method, and there are freakin 9 to choose from. I choose one and then it asks for a CA certificate but there is nothing available to choose except for 'Don't validate', which doesn't sound very secure, so I simply can't connect to WIFI on these networks (such as at my job). My iPhone doesn't ask me any of that stuff and just asks me for a username and password and simply connects. Why can't my Android phone just do this and not put me through an Android networking class 101 or lots of hoops?

Something else you didn't suggest was the following - after you've re-started your phone and unplugged the modem, I suggest toggling the wifi off and back on. Once you do that, click down to your wifi name and click on that. That's what I needed to re-connect onto my wifi. Had I known that, I wouldn't have gone all day without wifi on my phone. I have very little data so I basically stayed off my phone all day. I'm glad I didn't have to try the other things you suggested in this video.
I don't why but sometimes out off nowhere my phone will restart by itself and complety changes my time and when i connect to my wifi its says limited connection but the wifi is working on everything else
So, I have my samsung tv and android tablet connected to the wifi, no problems with them. So, my monkey brain keeps insisting it must be my android phone and not the router. I did everything but unplugging my router at least 5 times. Finally unplugged the router, left it alone for about 30 seconds, and replugged it back in. I turn WiFi off and back on again but then I lose the connection anyhow as soon as I get away from the router. I have other devices that work flawlessly a considerable distance from where the phone I use like a small tablet with a better camera would normally disconnect. It didn't always disconnect too. Maybe when it was dropped once the WiFi antenna cable came loose? I never had it open but I realize that a lot of phones have antenna connections that are similar to or the same as the ones found on WiFi cards. If you ever had to connect an antenna cable to those you realize how tiny they are. Any pictures you may have seen of them anywhere don't show how small they really are!
Resetting by pressing the hidden button actually fixed my issue. Thank you very much.

It's simple go to wifi settings of the hotspot phone and go to blacklist wifi devices then remove yours and it's done

I just reset my router. It fixed my issue with my phone. It didn't affect anyone else's devices.

I’ve got one for you 😉 Every time my iPhone connects to my vehicle “Bluetooth”, the phones stored music always plays. I’ve searched the vehicle media settings and my iPhones settings, I’ve found no auto play feature. I would like it to not play unless I go into my music and select play. HELP 😣😣😣

I’ve one every single step. When I unplug my router he plug it back in, it connects fine for 3 minutes then goes right back to no internet . I’ve given up
Mine is connecting, but some apps refuse to work on wifi. Just works in another wifi or mobile data 🤦♂. I dont know what to do, tried everything I could

Might I suggest number 10: changing your WiFi password? Because that did it for me. My old password had been inherited from a different modem and when I tried to connect a new phone it didn’t work :)
I have been using android for the last 13yrs and i never faced wifi issues. I think you are making a video just creating a bad look for android. I have an Apple iphone 13 as well. I face iphone have more wifi issues than android.

You forgot, "Oh make sure your system date is updated - if it's more than a couple months out your phone will NOT connect to any network, WiFi, mobile or otherwise" nowhere did i read this until i figured it out myself.
Very odd day, wifi was kinda out phone and tv - but had ethernet on computer and worked fine. Just had to do a classic plug out and back in and things went back to normal.
The only problem I have and that I've always had is on some networks is asks you to choose an EAP method, and there are freakin 9 to choose from. I choose one and then it asks for a CA certificate but there is nothing available to choose except for 'Don't validate', which doesn't sound very secure, so I simply can't connect to WIFI on these networks (such as at my job). My iPhone doesn't ask me any of that stuff and just asks me for a username and password and simply connects. Why can't my Android phone just do this and not put me through an Android networking class 101 or lots of hoops?

Dude I really thought that I got mobile problem because wifi was connected with everything except my mobile 😭, Still when I tried turn on/off router it got fixed 😭😭😭
Something else you didn't suggest was the following - after you've re-started your phone and unplugged the modem, I suggest toggling the wifi off and back on. Once you do that, click down to your wifi name and click on that. That's what I needed to re-connect onto my wifi. Had I known that, I wouldn't have gone all day without wifi on my phone. I have very little data so I basically stayed off my phone all day. I'm glad I didn't have to try the other things you suggested in this video.

I don't why but sometimes out off nowhere my phone will restart by itself and complety changes my time and when i connect to my wifi its says limited connection but the wifi is working on everything else

So, I have my samsung tv and android tablet connected to the wifi, no problems with them. So, my monkey brain keeps insisting it must be my android phone and not the router. I did everything but unplugging my router at least 5 times. Finally unplugged the router, left it alone for about 30 seconds, and replugged it back in. Phone was able to connect. ffs

TYSM 4th helped me out TYSMMM it ws from my ipad i had virus and it disapeared TYY
I turn WiFi off and back on again but then I lose the connection anyhow as soon as I get away from the router. I have other devices that work flawlessly a considerable distance from where the phone I use like a small tablet with a better camera would normally disconnect. It didn't always disconnect too. Maybe when it was dropped once the WiFi antenna cable came loose? I never had it open but I realize that a lot of phones have antenna connections that are similar to or the same as the ones found on WiFi cards. If you ever had to connect an antenna cable to those you realize how tiny they are. Any pictures you may have seen of them anywhere don't show how small they really are!
Restarting the phone works in most of the cases as with me ....Thank You 👍👍
