Sandeep... "You the Man!" I just converted my ASUS G75VX Gaming Laptop from ‘slow’ HDD to SSD. But, since then every minute my laptop has been disconnecting then reconnecting... Absolutely driving me crazy!
I followed every one of your steps, with the exception of installing new drivers, (as they were done not so long ago), and so far, not one disconnection since ‘reboot’. I’ll cross my fingers that it stays that way. Many thanks for taking the time to make these videos to help the not-so computer literate among us.

Thanks for the clear instructions. Most of the time the issue is with the power options within Device manager. Step 1 & 2 worked for me like a charm. Much appreciated 😀

I have Windows 10 Pro, and have looked everywhere, but there is no Power Management option in the Properties of my WiFi & Network Adapter.

Finally my wifi issue is resolved. It was a headache for me for many months. Saw many videos but never get the results. The 6th step worked for me, in my laptop Manual was selected in setting. Thank you 🙏

I installed a pci express WiFi adapter in pc from tp link. It works good. But it disconnects randomly. I mean totally disconnected. The status led of the adapter is turned off like when i turn off wifi. I did check the power management. But once it happens there is no way to connect to network even not showing available networks. But all works normal after a reboot or new start up. Is the problem with the adapter? I bought it today from Amazon. Should I return it?

@@luckyday7wastaken985 I was afraid of that when trying to solve this. My way out would be to just connect through the actual ethernet cable. This would be a pain because of logistics but it wold be the only solution.
fixed for me too, had new fiber installed msut have switched up the dns with it, connection kept dropping

I tried them all, and still not working.
On uninstall the device, I do not have the option "Delete the driver...."
I think the problem is that I have a laptop and the connection is under protocol 802.11g, and trying to connect a desktop with the adapter Ralink 802.11n. this adapter can detect all the wifi networks, and cannot connect to mine. this shows that the WiFi adapter is working but the connection cannot be established.
Pov: no methods worked and now your about to just punch a hole in your pc

While I was checking the advanced power options to make sure they were set to maximum as you suggest, I noticed a setting above regarding the hard drive & when it shuts down due to inactivity. Mine was set at a default of turning off after 20 minutes of inactivity. I decided to change that to the "never" shut down setting as it appears that there is little difference/benefit to powering the HDD down unless one is trying to conserve & optimize battery life. I always use my laptop while it is plugged in so I chose to make that change to allow it to stay on. Is this ok or should I go back to default or a lesser amount of time? Thanks...Jennifer

I also decided to change the option to never shut down the hard drive. Did it have any adverse effects? Will my pc heat up due to this?

I got this problem after SSD. I removed the SSd and put HDD in. Then wifi worked. After that i removed the HDD and put the SSD in. Now wifi works well, too.

In my case, when i changed the latest adapter version into the older hopelessly it works.
Sometimes olds works better than new. ❤️
Mine doesn’t have any older ones bc my pc is new but it’ll connect to my phones hotspot just fine😩

@@francisgilbertdehonor6453 click update on network adapter then you can find two options which are search and browse. You have to pick browse then you can see your pc already selected the default, after that you'v to click under the option of default.

When i fixed my wifi adapter, there are days that it works perfectly fine, but sometimes, out of nowhere, it will disconnect. And when you click the globe thingy icon, airplane mode is the only available option. Like the wifi option is gone. It just frustrates me that i have to uninstall, reinstall, and restart my laptop every time this happens >:(

Brother , don't forget to disable ipv6 in wifi adapter advanced settings if none of these don't work.because my wifi keeps disconnecting when I open games .finally I disabled ipv6 and my problem got fixed permanently.and restart your device .Check it out if the problem still exists..
