Sandeep... "You the Man!" I just converted my ASUS G75VX Gaming Laptop from ‘slow’ HDD to SSD. But, since then every minute my laptop has been disconnecting then reconnecting... Absolutely driving me crazy! I followed every one of your steps, with the exception of installing new drivers, (as they were done not so long ago), and so far, not one disconnection since ‘reboot’. Thank you for the assistance. It has been a while since getting into the nuts and bolts. Nice walkthrough with all options to isolate the issue. On the plus side, I tried Option 1 and my WiFi has not disconnected. Again, Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
So clear and loud thank you it took me 2 minute to fix it usually most channels just talk and talk wasting like 10 minute but you just got straight into the point

I have Windows 10 Pro, and have looked everywhere, but there is no Power Management option in the Properties of my WiFi & Network Adapter. Why is it you guys have that option?
@@luckyday7wastaken985 I was afraid of that when trying to solve this. My way out would be to just connect through the actual ethernet cable. This would be a pain because of logistics but it wold be the only solution.

I got this problem after SSD. I removed the SSd and put HDD in. Then wifi worked. After that i removed the HDD and put the SSD in. Now wifi works well, too.
Finally my wifi issue is resolved. It was a headache for me for many months. Saw many videos but never get the results. The 6th step worked for me, in my laptop Manual was selected in setting. Thank you 🙏

Well this works but the problem is not permanently fixed. The problem returns in 2-3 business days which is quite annoying.. and I'm at my breaking point.

When i fixed my wifi adapter, there are days that it works perfectly fine, but sometimes, out of nowhere, it will disconnect. And when you click the globe thingy icon, airplane mode is the only available option. Like the wifi option is gone. It just frustrates me that i have to uninstall, reinstall, and restart my laptop every time this happens >:(

none of those worked for me. I tried all those things, and still experienced sporadic disconnects about once every three hours. Here is what finally worked for me - changing the Windows Time service from Manual to Automatic. The Windows Time service maintains time synchronization. Apparently, the router that provides the WiFi has to be in perfect sync with your computer. Open services.msc, Windows Time, make sure it is set to Automatic.

While I was checking the advanced power options to make sure they were set to maximum as you suggest, I noticed a setting above regarding the hard drive & when it shuts down due to inactivity. Mine was set at a default of turning off after 20 minutes of inactivity. I decided to change that to the "never" shut down setting as it appears that there is little difference/benefit to powering the HDD down unless one is trying to conserve & optimize battery life. I always use my laptop while it is plugged in so I chose to make that change to allow it to stay on. Is this ok or should I go back to default or a lesser amount of time? Thanks...Jennifer

fixed for me too, had new fiber installed msut have switched up the dns with it, connection kept dropping

In my case, when i changed the latest adapter version into the older hopelessly it works.

Mine doesn’t have any older ones bc my pc is new but it’ll connect to my phones hotspot just fine😩

Its okay, you will not face any problems.
I also decided to change the option to never shut down the hard drive. Did it have any adverse effects? Will my pc heat up due to this?
