It is currently 10:16 PM and I have multiple assignments to get done. I searched hours for a solution and I found this video. Earned a sub. Thank you. It's time to get cramming on my early high school years.
How did you took so long to find IT. It was the first that came up
Outstanding instructions and I even got my husband's laptop to get the wifi back! Thank you so much and it was fixed on the first instruction!
Nothing worked 👍👍👍
I'm very sorry to hear that. If your device is new it may bring a Wi-Fi adapter which is a physical thing. It's a USB that you have to connect to your computer. I hope you didn't lose it since it's very small. I hope that helps.
If all the steps on video didn’t work, it must be an internal issue that can’t be fixed unfortunately or will have to have a tech try it.

Thank you it took me 1 year and I came upon your video and I got on following your steps - thank you
Just restarting the router fixed it. Thanks
Oh my goodness, 7 minutes in and you fixed the problem just following your instructions and I’ve been struggling with this for over a year. You are amazing.👍
Your tip of trying other drivers listed on my computer worked. I have been looking for three days for a solution and you are the only one who suggested this. Your video is extremely easy to follow. Thank you so very much.
Was fighting with the connection between my PC and my internet router for 2 days then I stumbled upon this video and in 6 minutes my connection was back. Solution 2 helped make that happen and I’m so grateful I found this video! Very useful and easy to navigate with thorough instructions for any expertise affiliated with technology whether beginner or expert. Thank you 🙏
My WiFi icon still not showing up. My WiFi Direct Services Connection Manager Service won't leave off stopped. I right click it & properties don't appear.

Solved by updating the second driver on my list. This is how this type of videos should be done, without silly and annoying bombastic intros, just straight to the point! Thank you!
Same here Issue fixed after updating the second driver on my list. Thank you!
Thanks man
Where are the driver options?
Thanks to your comment, I went back to driver update and solved the problem. The first time I tried to update the driver, I chose the automatic search, which didn't work. When I chose the driver manually from the list, it worked like a charm.
Great video @AskaComputerGeek
Thank you!
Great video, I'm an independent doctor and it's really nice to be able to fix the problem myself and not call an expert and charge you lots of money for an easy fix. Thank you very much.
AMAZING AMAZING RESEARCH! I haven’t been able to find my network for about a year and left my laptop alone after failing so so many attempts. I called Dell and they tried to charge me for $100 for a service fee and I said no way. After another shot and 2 days extra of research THIS VIDEO WAS THE ONE. Thank you so so much for your intelligence. I truly appreciate it!!!
I was pulling out what little hair I had trying to fix this problem. You fixed it in two minutes. Thank you so much, people like you are what make youtube great.
It was the "restore advanced internet settings" for me. Thank you so much. Us non-geeks need you my friend.
Man that checking the list of available drivers is something that never occurred to me even though I knew it was a driver issue and tried the auto check. You're a legend and deserve some interaction for the algorithm lol
Just wanted to update this since a few people have seen it. That only worked for a very short period. The solution was that intel had stopped supporting the wifi card, so I got a new one. They're like 20 bucks.
Searched for hours trying to find a fix for computer not finding router. Got the fix about a third of the way through your video. Thank you so much.
I’m a stubborn senior who wouldn’t give up trying to fix the Wi-Fi on my hubby’s laptop. I found this very pleasant and patient man and followed his instructions faithfully and I’m delighted that solution three worked. And the fact that I understood his English was definitely a plus, no offense meant to others.
Thank you so much, the first fix did it for me.
Option 3 worked for me. Thank you for speaking in clear and concise manner and not giving unnecessary information and examples
I have struggled with this for at least a year. Every update or reset I lost the internet. The WLAN setting was on manual. After putting it on automatic it worked like a charm. Thank you so much!!
Gosh! Thank you so much! I've been trying to fix this since yesterday. My laptop suddenly couldn't connect to my home wifi, although all my other devices could connect. But step 2 worked like magic. You are super thorough! A million stars for you!
Mine is having the same problem as yours and I tried it but it didn't work for me. :( 😞
I have spent endless hours trying to find a fix for my internet connection problems and nothing worked. Your simple fix was in fact the fix! Thank you and thank you again!
I spent over an hour working with my internet service as well as the laptop troubleshooting. I logged on to this video and this man is a genius. Thank you for the clear and precise instructions.
Oh my God ...im so thankful to sir that my wifi is back❤❤❤
I was almost at the point of buying another laptop because my Lenovo yoga 300 was not connecting to my wifi. I decided to watch this video as the last resort before I ordered a new laptop ; I followed the steps and it was resolved. Great Video
Thank you! I tried everything or thought I had. I have been trying to connect for a week now. Resetting the internet did the trick. Loved your video. So easy to follow as you have explained so precisely, telling me where to go and what to do. Thank you!!!
Outstanding! Simple! Easy to understand and apply! I fixed my Wi-Fi problem at the first step! Bravo! Keep it up!
wifi too? ...
After hours spent trying to figure it out, changing the driver EASILY worked!! Thank you so much!!!!
You are a lifesaver. I tried all other fixes and within minutes your fix number 2 worked. You are easy to follow; the fix was within my limited technical skills!
So I’ve been trying to figure this out half of my morning. I came across this and it worked very well for me. Thanks for being so thorough and specific.
None of them worked for me
@@donjee5438 same
Thanks for the info. I used the update driver and install new drivers. It got me back from no WiFi adapter available to connectivity. So appreciated! Cheers!
@Teri Swanson No none of them worked for me
@@donjee5438 have u fixed it yet? I’m having the same issue
I spent a week looking for a solution to my wifi issues. Turns out my WLAN AutoConfig was reset during a windows 11 update. Could not have fixed it without this video. You have excellent communication skills and practical knowledge. Thank You!
Think thats what happened to me too 😑
Which step helped you the most
Omg..you are an angel...did not have Wifi for four days, AT&T tech did their thing said an outside cable was unplugged but my PC still would not connect, my tablets and phone connected but not my PC.. found your video, followed your instructions play by play..get to step 6&7 and Im up and running...U the GOAT...❤❤❤.Thank you.
I suddenly noticed that my Laptop wasn't connecting to wifi. I went to You tube and found your video with which I was able to fix the problem using option 2 - restoring the advanced internet settings. Many thanks for being sooo helpful!
Wow! After a windows update what seems like a few months ago, my wifi was no longer showing my home network but every other network was appearing. I’d tried way too many other fixes and left it alone for months. Your tip about reinstalling the driver did the trick beautifully! Thanks a bunch for your help!
@VVKAY THE GOD 2 No, the drivers are already installed. Just follow the tip in the video and hope it helps.
You saved me!!! I have 12 assignments due tonight for summer classes and after sheer panic you helped me! I literally cried tears of joy
When attempting to install a Windows 11 virtual machine on my Dell laptop running Windows 10, my laptop's Wi-Fi ceased functioning. I had to uninstall the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160Mhz Network adapter. After uninstalling it, I clicked on the Action tab and scanned for devices. Fortunately, I found the Wi-Fi option enabled and was able to reconnect to the network. Your video was excellent and greatly appreciated for its assistance to the community. Thank you very much.
I'm still having difficulty connecting my virtual machine to the internet, so I'm searching for a RUclips video to help me with the issue.
The wifi adapter solution seemed to have done the trick!
Thank you for the easy to follow video and being straight to the point.
Have a beautiful day!
Awesome stuff!! I only had to uninstall and install the adapter and all was good. I like your talk through is brilliant and clear. Awesome and thank you 🙌
Thank you Josh. 😊. Very easy video to follow. Fixed it from the 1st fix...
So frustrated after buying new adaptor still didn't work. left it dust up for a few months. got your vid. uninstalled, no change, update the list of 3, first 2 didn't work, finally 3rd one worked, 5 min 30 sec into your vid. Thank you so much for explaining everything so well & enlarging items to see easily, easy to follow. I'm now a new sub.
The first method worked.. I had seen it done before but he did it so quickly I could not follow what he`d done. Thank you.
Excellent video. Thanks very much for your time and effort. I fixed my issue on the third reset. Thanks again. Keep up the great 👍🏾 work.
I’m not even getting a network connection list.
Have you found a solution? I'm in the same boat

I pushed the Reset Button for 5 seconds on my Verizon Orbic and problem solved!
I can't thank enough, sir.
Your first method helps me!
I did the reset thingy, as suggested from other RUclipsr, but to no avail.
Then I encountered your video, went through the comments, and gave it a shot to try your suggestions.
and there! In less than 5 mins, my laptop is ready to work.
Thank you very much, sir!
Thank heavens for people like you out there, fixed at step 6. Great instructions, great vid, saved the day. Thanks again
OMG, it's actually a REAL video that actually helped me instead of click bait. The 1st troubleshooting issue worked for me. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Network adapter. I was having a nervous wreck because my laptop was saying I couldn't connect to wifi. Thank you dearly Josh 🙏🏾✊🏾💯

You are a life saver. Only took me to step 4 to get it. I had no clue as to what I was doing since my driver name isn’t the same. Took an educated guess to “update” the driver and clicked on a driver blindly. Viola! 😂. Thanks a million!
You're a life saver. My laptop couldn't connect to wifi, I had to restore advanced internet settings 😢. Thank you
This video is perfect, been struggling for days searching for videos to find WIFI, finally I found this one. The first step solved it all. Thanks a million.
10:42 AM 4/29/23 😊Worked for me! Easy to follow, successfully connected to my internet network after completing steps 1 and 2. Awesome video, liking and subscribing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Dude u are actually such a saviour, you have fixed like 5 problems in my laptop because u get straight to the point and everything is true , you earned a like and a sub. Thanks
Thank you, I used the 2nd fix "Restoring advanced internet settings" - and it worked perfectly right away.
You are a computer genius, my friend!
I had already done the first couple of things in your video, but by the time I got to the seven minute mark, resetting my network adapters did the trick.
My stupid Dell didn't even tell me it was ready to restart I kept thinking it wasn't working. I came very close to smashing my computer with a sledgehammer. But I waited it out, it uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and then low and behold my original Wi-Fi Connection was visible again.
My particular problem, the disappearance of my home Wi-Fi icon, coincided with a sudden "hidden network" showing up suddenly, that has as strong bars as my old network Wi-Fi icon. So I thought the hidden one was mine. Tried every way with passwords etc., until I came upon your solution. Thank you so much!
Oh my gosh! The last step worked! I was able to create a hot stop from my cell phone. I still can’t connect to my home WiFi, but it’s something.
Josh, you are a darling. I have been in despair for the last 24 hours, but fix #2 worked beautifully for me. I think that the work you are doing is just wonderful and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

oh its not working anymore
Great! Second fix - restoring the advanced settings did it for me. I restarted and everything is fine! Thanks so much!
None of the methods initially worked for me but after sometime the WiFi started working so I do not know the exact one that worked. A very helpful video!!
Thanks for this informative and easy to follow video. I went through all seven and still no luck. Have the global icon not wifi. When I click on the global icon the wifi box is there but it bring no list of available networks at all. It was great to go through all the different options you gave though. Thanks for the learning.
Same with me , have you found a fix ?
@@GeorgeGates No. It was my Fathers laptop. He's taken it into a repair shop to get it checked out. I noticed his wifi device in device manager would show as working properly, but it wasn't. So something wasn't right.
Same problem as well, any word on a fix yet?
@@Earthly23_ Turns out laptop was cracked and seperating in the corner and everytime you open it was like going to fall apart. The repair guy said that was contributing to connection being cut off (to do with the wiring stuff inside). They have fixed the crack and laptop no longer tries to seperate and is working again. Hope you find a fix soon also!
*STEP 8* Unplug computer and throw it in the nearest dumpster.😉
It was almost 7 hours later of searching videos and trying everything. Yours worked. Thank you so so much.
On step one, I was able to connect and refresh to see the isp in the window. Finally, updated and connected to the internet! Thanks!! Awesome video!!
Sadly, it didn't work for me (I had previously done 5/7 steps) but you have a great video here!

I’ve used this video at least 10 times already in the last 3 months. Lifesaver!!!!
4 minutes into the video my problem was solved. That's after spending money and days getting different people to solve it.
Thank you.
Hi Josh. I have done everything you said and no joy. I have had this issue before and it usually happens after a Windows 10 update. I have uninstalled all updates that I was allowed to uninstall but no joy whatsoever. Any suggestions?
that might be a Windows 10 error or a driver error or the worst case scenario your hardware is damaged.
Same here. Everything was working fine. Computer did forced update, and now, no Wi-Fi options at all. Went through all the steps with no luck. Thank you though. Very easy to follow. Not sure what to do next.
Thanks for the video and I believe it worked for most people
My laptop is able to connect to mobile hotspot but unable to connect to my home wifi(gives that can't cannot to network error) although other devices at my home are able to connect to my home wifi, I am confused where is the fault, is there anything wrong with my router or laptop? Woah! It works like magic! I have battled with fixing my computer connectivity to my wifi for hours, but after watching the first step that you described here, I was dumbfounded cos it works! Bravo!!!
Hi Josh, really excellent comprehensive coverage.
Step 7 has given me focus.
I have no WiFi Available Network List! All our Android tablets show WLAN selection of secured local neighbours' WiFi routers.
Windows 10 on dated Pavillion G6
Ralink RT 5390, recently unsupported on Microsoft Windows Catalogue.
All that's left is to replace that Firmware? Easy access under service panel, what should I pay for this replacement if available?

Thank you for this fix. This 80 year old non-geek is very grateful.
Thank you! Saved me from paying for someone to look at my old desktop. The very first step worked. Uninstalling and putting it back, it did a reset of the wifi basically. It still didn’t connect automatically. I connected by clicking connect then it asked me for wifi pin. Previously kept asking for network key. I used whats labeled key on my modem but that wouldn’t work. So that uninstalling reset it to ask me for something I had that was correct. Thank you for this simple and correct video 🙂🙏
Very unusual because I could understand every word this guy said and managed to get my wife's laptop to go back online. Was on the 4th day. Thanks and keep up the great work. Alvis
Hurrah, Thank You Josh !! I worked through several fixes and finally it works, after restarting, the wifi reappeared and asked for the code and I unplugged the ethernet cable and IT WORKS !!
Thank you. Sorted by end of method 1. 5.40 mins in. Clearest video by far. Laptop had issues after an Internet outage by plusnet UK.
A little late to the party on this, but wanted to thank you! We have the same driver and uninstalling/reinstalling driver fixed it! I could not figure out why I was getting the driver or hardware issue error or what to do with it. This worked perfectly. Thank you for the info.
Thanks... Step 1 - trying all the wifi adapters in device manager, then restarting my laptop solved my problem!!
