Miguel and I are really excited to share this reaction to Aavesham with you all. It was such a crazy ride from start to finish! Fahadh Faasil played his role so amazingly and now we must watch more movies with him! Please let us know in the comments which film you would reccommend us to watch more of Fahadh Faasil!

Similar to a lot of people here..I had never watched a malyalam movie before Aavesham but once I did , I ended up watching 8 movies of FaFa in a week. Such an amazing actor! 😍

Do check out 'Kumbalangi nights' . Its a feel good movie with excellent making, deep subtle meaning and overall bittersweet feel good. With another, short but excellent fafaa role aswell. #home will also match your personality.
Thanks for the recommendations ! I will definitely look into these with Miguel. We have to stick with Hindi movies for a bit while Dadu is here but as soon as he heads back home we will get back into other languages.

Welcome to Malayalam industry 🙋🏽♀️ guys consider the movie 'MAHESHINTE PRATHIKARAM ' another film of fafa. And just an info, the movie BHOOL BHULAIYA is the remake of the classic malayalam movie ' MANICHITHRATHAZHU' 🌝
I wish I would have known that before watching. I like to watch the originals. After we watched Manjummel Boys I was quickly looking for another Malayalam film because I really enjoed the story approach. (I guess there is a reason so many remakes are done on their movies)
I remember while watching Andhadhun, Miguel sir expressed his liking in thriller movies like that.. So just a suggestion.. Do give a try to Drishyam 1 & 2. Both are so exciting, thrilling and unexpected. It’s like you’re on the edge of your seat the entire time. Hope you watch those movies soon.
Also, the two other movies that I keep commenting on almost every post of yours (hoping you’ll see it one day) 😂 - PINK and MY NAME IS KHAN.

Hoped you liked it....a small fact would be that the Music Director is Sushin Shyam for both the movies you've watched....and just look at the quality....the most versatile Music director in South India imo....just my opinion which ig many would and wouldnt agree:)

Malayalam Cinema is exactly what you need to be watching, some consider the best film Industry in India. As it's nothing like the other language Indian film Industries.
I am starting to understand that. This is only our second Malayalam film and I gotta say the story telling is very engaging! I'm loving it so far!
@@ChaatNChat i highly suggest "Kumbalangi Nights" which is usually considered the gateway movie Malayalam cinema. It also has Fahadh Faasil, but it's an ensemble cast. There are actors from Manjumel Boys also in that movie.
Another fun movie is Romancham, it's the first movie of the same director as Avesham.

Definitely after this movie we added a bunch of Malayalam films to the list. We will be mixing in some Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films more regularly once Dadaji heads back to India.

@@ChaatNChat This movie was dark comedy+ bachelors + action. Romancham is exactly similar except it has horror instead of action. Both movies have no female characters, this director's movies are kinda like that. It's all about his own bachelor days.

Malayalam cinema is in a league of its own. A couple of Mallu movies that just blew me away in the recent past (and are of a very different genre from Aavesham and Manjummel boys :)) - (1) 'Kaathal the core'- deals with a marriage between a gay man and an unhappy wife (2) ' The great Indian kitchen' - A movie portrays family patriarchy in a very insightful manner that probably could not have been depicted better. Hope you get to watch them sometime soon. Happy watching and reacting - enjoy your reactions very much.
