Miguel and I are really excited to share this reaction to Aavesham with you all. It was such a crazy ride from start to finish! Fahadh Faasil played his role so amazingly and now we must watch more movies with him! Please let us know in the comments which film you would reccommend us to watch more of Fahadh Faasil!

Malayalam was-is the only film industry producing original fantastic contents. Many of the bollywood superhits are actually remake of Malayalam Films.
I had no idea some of the movies we watched were remakes until we released them. I'm definitely going to be checking out more Malayalam movies in the future!

Ranga's innocence towards the boys was soo pure
100% I never assumed anything else. I always believed his intention was pure. The boys let others get into their mind and warp their perception of him.
@@ChaatNChat yeah, but from the boy’s perspective they don’t see how Ranga talked to Bibi’s mom (that is the scene that solidified Ranga’s intentions were pure). They mostly saw the fun side of Ranga and the angry side of Ranga, not the soft side of Ranga.

Ranga and the kids are so close because they are from Kerala. They are now in Karnataka. Kannada is spoken in Karnataka and Malayalam in Kerala.

You wont see much of over the top action movies in malayalam film industry. Each industries in india has their own styles. Malayalam film industry is the opposite of bollywood. No glitter or glamour, stories and actors are very deep rooted to the malayali culture yet the movies are content oriented. Telugu movies are mainly larger than life type movies while tamil film industry is a mix of both.
Awesome explanation, that is exactly what we have been seeing so far. I'm looking forward to more Malayalam movies 😃

You should check out Bramayugam as well. It's a folk horror movie shot entirely in black and white.
Next please try out drishyam 1,2 original malayalam version, there are many remake in other languages, so try to ignore them and check out the original version of drishyam in malayalam language
Guys. Watch more malayalam films. Bollywood stopped producing original content in the 90s itself. Whatever is coming off bollywood is either a copy or inspired version of some other films.

This is such a genius movie exactly tells you that there is no coming back once you shake hands with the devil.
Idli is a South Indian breakfast which is made by steaming the fermented rice into cakes, usually ate with sambar and chutney. Its a very healthy choice of food.

22:22 Idly is a bland to slightly salty tasting rice cake made by fermented rice and urad dal (a kind of pulses) batter, usually eaten with sambar and coconut chutney.
For reference, the story takes place in Bangalore where the native language is Kannada and many Hindi speakers will also be there. The protagonists, Ranga and Amban speaks Malayalam. Ranga knows multiple languages, which he speaks throughout the movie. The campus management guy is an non-Keralite who happens to know Malayalam, which caught them by surprise.

@@ChaatNChat as a very old language some words yes. Kannada - Tamil - Malayalam - Telugu will have some similar words. But daily spoken wise, very different.

That sign was in Kannada, language spoken in the state of Karnataka. The story is set in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Ranga is speaking a mixture of Kannada and broken Malayalam throughout the movie.

@@ChaatNChat Malayalam is more closer to Tamil. 90% Malayalis can Understand Tamil because Malayali people grows up watching both Tamil and Malayalam movies. And Malayalam is a language formed by mixing ancient Tamil and Sanskrit. Since all south Indian languages are made out of same proto dravidian language branch, there are similarities in some words between Malayalam and Kannada. But yeah Malayalam is more closer to Tamil than Kannada.

@@ChaatNChat umm not really, but the story is set in Bangalore which is in Karnataka, hence the Kannada. But Kannada is pretty much similar to Telugu. Just how Malayalam and Tamil people grow up watching movies of both languages, Kannada and Telugu speaking people watch Kannada and Telugu movies both!

Bro malayalam movies are top tier cinema.. you guys should watch more of them.. I have a recommendation please watch "Solo" with Dulquer Salman as lead actor.. its hard to find in original language.. its on Sun nxt.. but its the best movie for me till date...
We definitely plan on watching a lot more. They are a bit harder for me because I have to read subtitles but I still really like them.

At the time of editing there were no Hindi dubs available. (the Hindi dub edits also take a lot of extra work and from the previous releases it seemed not many people cared for it. So we are going to take a step back for a while from doing that. Perhaps in the future we will try again but for now we can't do that extra work with the time schedule)

@@ChaatNChat I think that is actually a good decision guys. Take jaby koay's channel cinedesi for example. They don't upload Hindi dubbed version for regional movies even though the majority viewers are North Indians. Uploading two different versions are gonna split your views( if that's how RUclips works..idk) and it takes a lot of extra effort too.

The worst thing you have done is keeping movie reaction as members first.
"keeping" isn't the right word. Members get early access to check for errors so they get reviewed and I can fix editing mistakes before they go public. As soon as anything is uploaded I try to give access to members. I then put all of them on release schedule to come out regularly. Actually aavesham is coming out faster in parts than usual. Every video becomes public (except for watch alongs)
