Your review is spot on. I've had mine, in red, for a week now. It's full of safety systems. Its interior is probably not as "classy" as the German equivalents, but it has an amazing character! Very well equipped and just fun to drive. Definitely two sides to its personality - mature and then quite silly! Probabaly more suited to peope who want a driving experience every time they push the starter button. Well done Nick; well done Hyundai!
Your enthusiasm is nice but I missed the specs....is it an auto (gear) and fwd or awd??? I like the looks of the Kona but I am not so sure about this one. Hope to see it soon in reality...
Probably would prefer the i30N Fastback. Now it's waiting for Hyundai to do a performance hybrid. None of that eco hybrid stuff, but actually packing a punch with high power electric motors. If Koenigsegg can make a 3-cil hybrid 4-seater, so can Hyundai for the us peasants.
Is it just me or is there anyone else out there who really doesn’t like or understand the need for ‘performance’ SUV’s like this and the Ford Puma ST. Not a fan.
Why? This fits my needs perfectly. I want something with some room. Noting to big or to small. The Tucson, for me, is to big. Something that’s sporty and fun to drive. The Kona N is it.
An handsome and high quality car... but it should be 30 cm shorter, 12 cm wider and 6 cm lower for the ideal city driving and parking... Thanks for such a lovely performance and joyful product...CK camokahopa ms 337

Hyundai's N cars always look fantastic! Especially with that colour scheme
We agree!
@@lovecarsTV they do but as a car designer what da heck is going on with the rear lights why did they split it I hate it
This car is genius. Its making me seriously consider upgrading to an SUV where I always in the past have driven sedans.
It's actually a pretty decent package overall, quite tidy looking too!
We think it looks great! 👍
Just bought one love it. Great review.
Nice job guys, must say liking the look of the Kona N 👌🏻
Glad you agree! 😁
Great review and production!
Glad you liked it!

It's front wheel drive, and comes as an automatic, 8-speed DCT gearbox only! 😀
N, N Performance💪🏻😎power!.
I hope they make a wagon like this
You should see the Elantra N. Shame we won't get it over here.
You guys have the i30n which I'd trade for our Elantra N ;)
Can't really call it a CUV with power only going to front wheels, but the fact that it tries, makes it an all round better car.
review ok but to much music and engine sound blanked out
I would love to see a comparison between this and the new SQ2
Probably would prefer the i30N Fastback.

With the states getting the next gen N, I wonder what you other nationers will get.
Does anyone know if hyundai or kia coming with a performance 4wd ICE car?
It’s got a bit of a Uris look to it. Especially the front.
I may upgrade from my Elantra GT N-Line to this next year.
I wish we got the Kona N here in Canada🙏🏻🤞🏻.
Slated end of Nov/Dec 2021 for us Canadians.
It's coming to Canada but what's the point with fwd ?!
The lack of AWD killed it for me =/ Why would you position your car in such a disadvantage to it's rivals?
LSD makes up for it and let's be honest you ain't getting this kind of fun and performance at 40k from it's rivals.
@@boygonewhoopdataZZ well the cupra formentor offers more kilowatts and awd at basically the same price.
@@mkimask Which proves my point lol, the Kona N is suppose to market at 35k-36k, Majority of it's rivals else starts for 41k and up.
@@boygonewhoopdataZZ in Estonia - Kona N starts from 36 990 and formentor vz from 37 200.
@@mkimask What’s a cupra? Is that a rodent?

Looks like our one in the States is not so nice! Same engine as other trims…..pity.
John, you probably looked at the "n line" not the true N version that comes to US in the fall. It will have the same turbo 4 that is in the veloster
@@williamadele1864 i do hope so….
MILES not Mile an hour - POUNDS not pound - sheesh.

No mechanicals, no horsepower, no 0-60...not really a review I guess
HP and 0-60 was given? Watch it again.
Lovely chap, but please go to a hairdresser.
😂😂😂
Waste of power ! Should have been awd hyundai!!
That diffuser does nothing.
It looks cool.
SUV? It's a little hatchback, or crossover if you squint. And really it's only going to be 19 year olds driving these on lease let's face it!
Something he mentioned and discussed during the video if you were actually paying attention 🤦♂️
