It's been a year since Miiverse shut down. I didn't really use Miiverse until I got Splatoon. I made so many friends using it. Too bad they got rid of it so soon. RIP Miiverse and thank you.
7 now...time flies too fast. This was literally the last video game console I ever bought from Kmart before they got rid of video games and around the time I started working there. Got a digital copy of Wind Waker free with it too

man i miss going onto the smash community and shitposting for hours until the admins would delete posts; this app being closed shouldnt make me feel sad at 2am but it honestly does just because it was such a good passtime

All good things must come to an end I'm really sad because this peak golden era with soul, Iwata and Reggie is looked back upon as just 'nostalgia' Only for the souless Switch to steal that spot and take all the credit. When in actuallity the Wii U had more original games than the Switch in its time of support(2012 - 2015), had free online, had way more features and services, like Spotpass and Miiverse, an actually decent Virtual Console, Warawara Plaza. I could go on This is imo the strongest era of Nintendo we ever had. The Switch is decent in hardware but it doesn't shine a light to the Wii U era.
