Agreed. Especially considering fusion basically heals you back to 100% stamina. It would have made way more sense rather then the ass pulling of constant stamina regeneration out of no where in minutes they used all throughout the tournament of power. Even if they fused and lost to Jiren and got unfused then Goku used Ultra Instinct as a last ditch effort it would have been more enjoyable.
The Tempest, in the anime and manga of Super, they weren't healed back to 100% stamina. In the anime of Super, both Goku and Vegeta ate a Senzu Bean before fusing, and in episode 67, Goku and Vegeta couldn't go Blue because of the Final Kamehameha and Vegito using lots of energy. In the Super Manga, Vegito first blasted Zamasu before eating the last Senzu Bean that Goku and Vegeta saved for one of them, but instead, Vegito used it. But Goku and Vegeta weren't as depleted like they were in the anime. Then back in Z/Z Kai, I'm not sure if they were depleted or they didn't really use that much or what the writing team was thinking back then.

I actually think Vegito would be able to achieve the complete Ultra Instinct easier than Goku alone. Simply because Whis said they had opposite problems back in the RoF arc. Now that one of them had tasted UI they'd definitely be able to squeeze it out. But yeah, it'd wipe the fusion out instantly...
nah it has a time, Vegito lasted for 3 mins vs Zamasu Goku Vs Kefla didn't even last that long in real time, and breaking the earrings doesn't defuse you so the thing is, he didn't actually knock her out of fusion, she actually hit her limit right as the earrings broke and also right as she was knocked out of the ring. Honestly Goku or Vegeta should just get the ritual to become a kai done on them so Vegito could be perm.
i say become a kai because in the manga which is also actually just as canon even with how different it is, Trunks underwent a thing that made him an apprentice Kai and it gave him healing powers. Which tbh considering how i view the anime and manga anime is for viewing, manga is for filling in the gaps. trunks having healing powers would explain how Mai didn't actually die from Black's attack, because trunks embraced her for a few mins. but my point is, the manga seems to indicate you can get the title and gain perks. like also in the manga, Zamasu wasn't suppose to stay fused because he wasn't an actual supreme kai he was still an apprentice as well, which leads me to believe if trunks can become an apprentice and get healing powers, you can probably become a supreme kai too without actually being a kai.

Remember eariler in Dragon Ball Super, Whis mentioned to Goku and Vegeta that if they worked together they could possibly beat Beeres(which is compared or weaker to UI Ohem Goku from episode 129) and that was in the RoF arc. In conclusion if Goku and Vegeta would have utilized the potara fusion in the ToP, they would one shot Toppo and Jiren. That's if the fusion don't defuse while they fighting.

And can be compared to goku n vegeta buu saga fusion now goku n vegeta got God power so imagine how strong vegeto should be M.UI is not untouchable/unbeatable. Just like hit timeskip can be beaten by someone fast enough MUI can be beaten by someone with great speed. Remember fusion doesn't just boost power, but multiples everything that both character abilities wich will include speed vision reflexes etc... The list goes on, so vegeto would be more than enough to win it all.
Vegitto is Goku's peak power multiplied by Vegeta's peak power. Even Jiren would get beat. He'd put up a fight sure, but in the end, as long as Vegitto doesn't get cocky, Jiren would loose. People don't understand how much multiplying power can change outcomes.
Multiplied? If you're talking about the power level scale used in early Z, 2 characters with a PL of 1 trillion would fuse into a character with a PL of 1 septillion. Goku fused with Hercule would've beaten Buuhan, Buu Saga Vegito would be stronger than Beerus, and Vegito and Merged Zamasu would've been stronger than Zeno.

You also gotta consider the rivalry boost that strengthens fusions, Kefla is the product of best friends, Vegito is the product of fierce rivals, and as elder kai said, Rival fusions get an Amp from the potara
Well vegeta was way stronger than topo and goku was stronger than juren. Plus vegeta blue evolution would most likely be able to use that transformation as céfiro and would also be able to use the king kai fist x10 and possibly even x20.so honestly a toppo and juren fusion would still get shit on
One of the biggest missed opportunities imo. Bringing back Vegetto to push Jiren would have been better than Goku getting Ultra Instinct and mastering it during the tournament. Fusion is an insane multiplier.

Vegito would have been stronger than MUI. Let's not forget, Jiren, who didn't have UI was able to somewhat keep up with Goku while he was in MUI for a while. Goku and Vegeta were able to keep up with Jiren for a while as well. I do believe Vegito would be more powerful, but without the auto-dodge.
I would have loved if every universe had a potara fused character and all the fusion warriors have a all out battle. Very risky if they fall of stage because it’s two people getting thrown off
Toriyama's unspoken rules of fusion: 1. The most important thing to remember is that it is essentially a joke technique. Everything derives from this. 2. Fusion is never allowed to finish a nonfiller main villain 3. Goku and Vegeta only fuse to fight other fusion characters So in the ToP, Vegito would only be used to beat Kefla and Anilaza at most and it would defuse long before finishing Jiren, no matter how strong the character theoretically is.

Here's where your wrong, Fusion lasts an hour, thats 60 minutes, the tornament of power was 45 minutes, Vegito would be able to stay through the whole tournament, the only reason Kefla unfused was because UI Goku's Kamehameha Destroyed the Potora

The 1hr gets shortened by how much no you're using. Go back to the goku black arc, vegetto only lasted 5min. And gotenks also went below 30 min in the buu arc, since this also happens with dance fusion. Gogeta blue not diffusing in like 2 minutes in the broly movie is an inconsistency.

When khefla and kale (not as strong as goku and vegeta) fused it took ultra instinct omen to beat them, so if goku and vegeta fuse I think it would be more powerful than mastered UI

I think zenkai works when fully recovered goku n vegeta was fighting with a damage body. In the black they needed beans to recover, I think in the tournament it was a plot. Goku n vegeta never recover that fast in any previous battles. Yeah vegeto even black saga would beat jiren if kefla can rival UI goku. Fusion is just insane, look how goten n trunks that was weaker than ssj goku n vegeta android saga was able to reach ssj3..
It comes down to only 1 thing really. If they didnt add the defuse rule into super then yes vegito would mop the floor with jiren based on the fact that he could just go ssb and then kaioken x20 and win. However with the rule, he wouldnt win as when he would try to unleash more power he would defuse instantly and then its back to square 1.
That always bothered me. Kefla seems to have no problems whatsoever powering up more and more. Kefla already shows she's stronger than SSG Goku (Mid Tourney), which means that she's already in the ballpark of Vegito (Base) as he was in the Trunks arc. She certainly seemed to last way more than the fifteen minutes that he lasted. Regardless, I think Vegito would win in either case. Vegito Blue in Trunks arc stomps Kefla and has a good fight with Jiren. Vegito Blue at any point after the Kefla fight curbstomps. I'd wager that Vegito Blue could fight both Jiren AND GoD Toppo and probably win, without having to resort to KK or UI.

Not really Vegito while stronger than Goku in SS3 is still weaker than SS God as confirmed by Goku in battle of gods movie and in his fight with Buu. So SS God is a incomparably more powerful than ss3, as Reiburster said 500x multiplier is a good ball-park figure for Vegito in base and Goku assumed that SS2 Vegito would loose to Beerus. Multipliers: SS3 > 400x Base Vegito > 500x (This is also around where I would put SS Berserk) Vegito + SS2 > 50,000x SS God > 50,000x (Minimum) SS God Vegito > 25,000,000x (Minimum) Vegito would literately blitz the entire Universal Tournament in just SS God before anyone even realized what was going on.
Nice math. I mostly agree with it, with the caveat that a lot depends on when you're using Vegito. Personally, I think Vegito Blue stood a chance of winning from the getgo. Factor in the great leaps of strength Goku and Vegeta both acquire during the tournament, and Vegito (Base) is #3 easy, and Vegito Blue wins handily.

With the difference in their personalities combining it would make it easier for MUI, Gokus problem was letting his guard down and vegeta couldn't access UI or MUI because he thinks when he fights wayyy too much and it's too uptight...but combining both, it could cancel out the issues they both have with gaining MUI.. Gokus personality will allow him to relax, and Vegeta wouldnt let his guard down..so yeah, I think he would access the power (atleast omen) through Whis's training alone, he wouldn't need the spark from the Spirit bomb to break his limits and access it.

I'm pretty confident with the fact that Vegito can go beyond kaioken x20, probably even up to x50. Even if Vegito were to struggle against jiren full power there's no way he would lose using kaioken.
It would have been great to see Vegito start kicking Jiren’s ass and forcing Jiren to power up! Then as Jiren begins fighting equally against him, Vegito powers up and that would break the time limit and end the fusion. Goku still unlocks Ultra Instinct later. That would have made WAY more sense than not fusing at all!
I really love this discussion, I think it comes down to two thing being would Goku and Vigita gain the same amount of xp together as they did apart, as well as how long Vigeto could last at that power level? (really wish they addressed that better :( )
the fact that several opponents in the t.o.p gave a hard time to goku and vegeta blue, yet they dont have god ki makes so sense. even more so considering how much they have powered up since learning to control god ki, and having fought beerus.
it basically was like that though, it was like that the whole time. even with Goku vs Kefla, since UI is like mystic/ultimate gohan, max possible power (all forms power booster in base) but UI has dodge hax so Goku while in UI was always weaker than everyone he fought, its just Ui's dodge and auto actions made him slip through your defense and hit your vitals, which is why goku had trouble vs kefla with attacking her because him consciously trying to do that made him miss basically.... UI is literally just aim bot and dodge hax, it doesn't actually give you more power or endurance or speed. it just uses the person's current max output and gives them assist haxs.

i just said its a glorified Ulitmate gohan mode, if gives your max power, meaning in base mode it'd give goku his Kioken X20 physical power it didn't exceed that, but gave him accuracy and dodging. Jiren actually started dodging when goku went simply SSB, SSB goku could hurt jiren, its just that jiren always countered it and jiren was also faster than goku. but if not for jiren's eye power blocking and speed, SSB Goku would have put up a wayyy better fight.
I felt that it made sense for Goku to fuse with Android 17 so he could potentially stay in Ultra instinct form longer or indefinitely because of the androids having unlimited energy.
Do you have evidence? Your reasoning doesn't seem very solid. For me, Vegito was going toe to toe with Zamasu in Blue(well, slightly ahead or very ahead depending on which version of Super) so how could a base Vegito beat Jiren? That I don't know, but I don't think that's really reasonable. I really don't see much evidence in your argument to be certain that you are right. I just think if Jiren fought an SSB Vegito with 100% Power from the start, he COULD (not would) push Vegito to use too much power like against Zamasu and would defuse after a few minutes. This is also without Kaioken btw.
Sean Fitzgerald anime merged zamasu is a whole other beast compared with the manga one. In the anime he was made too powerful by toei. In the manga he was depicted as toriyama initially wanted him to be. Anime zamasu is low-mid tier hakishin level. But combining anime/manga we get this Mssj blue vegito (black arc) >>> Mui goku (anger/friend boost) > lb jiren (2nd power-up) ~ (mui goku frined boost) > lb jiren (1st powerup) >> Vegito blue (level of power vs. m. zamasu) > Jiren (fp) >= Beerus (100%) Vegito has never been shown at full power. It may not be possible for the potara to depict his true power, for they are limited. Going by the proper power scales for kefla in the ToP, blue vegito would be more than enough to beat anyone at the tourney.
I'll bite. Zamasu was extra-resilient thanks to being partially immortal. If he hadn't been, then Vegito Blue would've won handily. By the ToP, both Vegeta and Goku are a bit stronger. Vegito Blue by default was probably stronger than all of the low and mid tier fighters, including Kefla. GoD Toppo and Jiren probably win, especially if they fight 2v1, but Vegito Blue has a chance. Midway through the tourney, Vegeta and Goku are signficantly stronger, meaning Vegito is significantly stronger. Maybe 2 or 3 times? Maybe as much as 5? Either way, a Vegito Blue who is 5 times stronger goes from beating most of the fighters to beating ALL except GoD Toppo and Jiren hands down. GoD Toppo is beaten easily, since by this point, I'd say Vegito Blue is anywhere between 5 and 10 times stronger than Evolved Vegeta Blue. He also wins against Jiren's full power. End of the tourney, with Goku and Vegeta at their strongest, Vegito Blue curbstomps. My thoughts are that, by the end of the tourney, Goku and Vegeta are both significantly stronger than they were at the halfway point, much less the beginning. As a result, Vegito is far stronger, going from a serious contender, to favorite, to winning no contest. Factor in other hypothetical forms, like KK and UI, and it gets even worse.

If I done the math correctly, then vegetto from the "goku black arc" when using "Blue Kaioken ×10" would not only destroy a regular jiren, but also destroy a limit breaker jiren as well. But let me know what you guys think.
After analyzing how potara fusion works for goku and vegeta, figure out that after there base powers merge together it multiples by ether 400 to 500 × therefore vegetto's base power would 2 to 2.5 × greater than goku's ssj3 level. Now let's figure out what vegetto's blue multiplier is by analyzing vegeta's blue form with goku's. For vegeta's blue form to rival goku's despite not having a ssj3 form means vegeta's blue form has to have a multiplier 4 × greater than goku's and we all know that his has a 50 × multiplier so vegeta's blue form would have a 200 × multiplier. Now when you put all that together, vegetto blue's power would be 80,000 stronger from his base. And after further analyzing of vegetto's power I figure out that vegetto was around 50 to 60 percent of beerus' full power and using a kaioken ×10 would make him 5 to 6 × stronger than him, including jiren.
Oh yes without a doubt sense at that point in time goku had yet to mastered kaioken in his blue form, but sense vegetto would fighting someone as powerful as jiren his would be forced to use it.
Vegito is called the perfect fighter and whis said goku is too relaxed and vegeta isn’t relaxed enough for ultra instinct so it would only make sense vegito can use ultra instinct if he’s pushed to it. Vegito and gogeta and just too strong for the series to use because it makes it boring as it’s just fuse then win so I believe Vegito would destroy jiren and easily win the tournament of power, the only problem I see would be the, defusing because of their power surpassing the potara

I feel like vegito wouldn't be able to use his maximum power (he didn't with zamasu either) because there's apparently a power limit to fused mortals. By the TOP arc, vegito would be able to do 1 full-powered move and it'd be over.

Just wanted to bring this up since it was not in the video: Ultra Instinct is actually a technique and NOT a transformation as stated by toriyama in numerous interviews. Therefore making Ultra Instinct technically using base form. Similar to Kaioken. Therefore if Vegito was in the ToP and somehow achieved this form of UI or maybe even the mastered one (who knows?) Then he would really be in base form and his time limit would go back up to around an hour. Which would basically SLAP anybody in that tournament easily including every God of Destruction if he wanted to.
Why not What if Buu was in the tournament of Power What if Gotenks was in the tournament of power but Goten and trunks trained in the time chamber to master fusion. They would have done it at the fight with Kefla, and then commence to dragging everyone after that with the exception of God of Destruction Top and Jiren at full power. Those two would have still gone down, no doubt, but it wouldn't have been as one-sided as the others would have been.
IMO.. I think the reason why Goku and Vegeta didn't fuse or want to fuse after given the option is because they knew if they did fuse they would have won to easily and they both knew they wouldn't get another opportunity to understand and master their own potentials. Vegitto and Gogetta would have been overwhelmingly more powerful than UI and Jiren. I honestly don't think UI should be as big as it is because a martial artist on Goku's level should already be able to act and react instinctively anyway. Goku should have already had UI mastered in dragonball when he was training with PoPo. As Goku got faster and more powerful UI should have been more and more noticeable even against someone like Raditz who was much more powerful than he was. PoPo's training was thrown out the window just as fast as Yamcha dies lol. But anyway Gogetta/Vegitto>Ui but UI is equal to or less than Jiren
The only reason why Akira didn't add Vegito Blue is because: 1). Akira already stated he DOES NOT like to add Fusion as it doesn't make the plot interesting if they're always gonna add fusion whenever there's a strong opponent. 2). Fusion ALWAYS symbolizes VICTORY GUARANTEED so Jiren would be no match at all! 3). They wanted to introduce a new form to Goku and Vegeta which explains why you'll see more UI Transformations and Ultra Ego after the ToP in the Manga. 4). Refer back to #1
What you need to think about is that mui is stated by WHIS to weaken the users attack power however as shown you dodge incredibly fast and don’t have to think about attacks. This is why goku is able to hurt jiren as he knows exactly when to attack.

SSB Vegito literally broke the fusion during the fight with Zamasu and they're stronger than then. SSB Vegito should be MORE than enough to murk ANYTHING BELOW AN ANGEL WITH THE QUICKENSS...and even then I'd be surprised if they didn't at least scratch Whis.
You didn't understand Vados right. She said that the fusion is a multiplier that's tens of times. To break it down : it can be 10x10 or 10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10 . It can basically be 10 on the x-th . It can be anything. It's way over a few thousand times therefore it's clear that Vegito would destroy MUI Goku in terms of raw power. However it's debatable whether he would be able to hit him.
Oh no doubt and vegito's fusion lasted forever back then. I don't think they should have changed that even if the writers wouldn't want it to last forever (for obvious reasons) they could always have just made it where they needed the dragon balls to split them. That would have been the better route to separating vegito and it would have kept the vegito character more dangerous due to him having no time restraints.

Agreed. Especially considering fusion basically heals you back to 100% stamina. The Tempest, in the anime and manga of Super, they weren't healed back to 100% stamina. In the anime of Super, both Goku and Vegeta ate a Senzu Bean before fusing, and in episode 67, Goku and Vegeta couldn't go Blue because of the Final Kamehameha and Vegito using lots of energy.
In the Super Manga, Vegito first blasted Zamasu before eating the last Senzu Bean that Goku and Vegeta saved for one of them, but instead, Vegito used it. But Goku and Vegeta weren't as depleted like they were in the anime. Then back in Z/Z Kai, I'm not sure if they were depleted or they didn't really use that much or what the writing team was thinking back then.

Multiplied? If you're talking about the power level scale used in early Z, 2 characters with a PL of 1 trillion would fuse into a character with a PL of 1 septillion. Goku fused with Hercule would've beaten Buuhan, Buu Saga Vegito would be stronger than Beerus, and Vegito and Merged Zamasu would've been stronger than Zeno.

Toriyama's unspoken rules of fusion:
1. The most important thing to remember is that it is essentially a joke technique. Everything derives from this.
2. Fusion is never allowed to finish a nonfiller main villain
3. Goku and Vegeta only fuse to fight other fusion characters
So in the ToP, Vegito would only be used to beat Kefla and Anilaza at most and it would defuse long before finishing Jiren, no matter how strong the character theoretically is.

And gotenks also went below 30 min in the buu arc, since this also happens with dance fusion. Gogeta blue not diffusing in like 2 minutes in the broly movie is an inconsistency.

It comes down to only 1 thing really. If they didnt add the defuse rule into super then yes vegito would mop the floor with jiren based on the fact that he could just go ssb and then kaioken x20 and win. However with the rule, he wouldnt win as when he would try to unleash more power he would defuse instantly and then its back to square 1.
I don't think there's enough time for it to matter by the time Fusion happens in the saga.
That always bothered me. Kefla seems to have no problems whatsoever powering up more and more. Kefla already shows she's stronger than SSG Goku (Mid Tourney), which means that she's already in the ballpark of Vegito (Base) as he was in the Trunks arc. She certainly seemed to last way more than the fifteen minutes that he lasted.
Regardless, I think Vegito would win in either case. Vegito Blue in Trunks arc stomps Kefla and has a good fight with Jiren. Vegito Blue at any point after the Kefla fight curbstomps. I'd wager that Vegito Blue could fight both Jiren AND GoD Toppo and probably win, without having to resort to KK or UI.
The ToP was only 45 min and since the Potara lasts less than 1 hour, Vegito could last at least 20-30 min

Not really Vegito while stronger than Goku in SS3 is still weaker than SS God as confirmed by Goku in battle of gods movie and in his fight with Buu. So SS God is a incomparably more powerful than ss3, as Reiburster said 500x multiplier is a good ball-park figure for Vegito in base and Goku assumed that SS2 Vegito would loose to Beerus.

With the difference in their personalities combining it would make it easier for MUI, Gokus problem was letting his guard down and vegeta couldn't access UI or MUI because he thinks when he fights wayyy too much and it's too uptight...but combining both, it could cancel out the issues they both have with gaining MUI.. Gokus personality will allow him to relax, and Vegeta wouldnt let his guard down..so yeah, I think he would access the power (atleast omen) through Whis's training alone, he wouldn't need the spark from the Spirit bomb to break his limits and access it.

so Goku while in UI was always weaker than everyone he fought, its just Ui's dodge and auto actions made him slip through your defense and hit your vitals, which is why goku had trouble vs kefla with attacking her because him consciously trying to do that made him miss basically....
UI is literally just aim bot and dodge hax, it doesn't actually give you more power or endurance or speed. it just uses the person's current max output and gives them assist haxs.

Do you have evidence? Your reasoning doesn't seem very solid. For me, Vegito was going toe to toe with Zamasu in Blue(well, slightly ahead or very ahead depending on which version of Super) so how could a base Vegito beat Jiren? That I don't know, but I don't think that's really reasonable. I really don't see much evidence in your argument to be certain that you are right. I just think if Jiren fought an SSB Vegito with 100% Power from the start, he COULD (not would) push Vegito to use too much power like against Zamasu and would defuse after a few minutes. This is also without Kaioken btw.
Sean Fitzgerald anime merged zamasu is a whole other beast compared with the manga one. In the anime he was made too powerful by toei. In the manga he was depicted as toriyama initially wanted him to be. Anime zamasu is low-mid tier hakishin level. But combining anime/manga we get this

Vegito has never been shown at full power. It may not be possible for the potara to depict his true power, for they are limited. Going by the proper power scales for kefla in the ToP, blue vegito would be more than enough to beat anyone at the tourney.

Zamasu was extra-resilient thanks to being partially immortal. If he hadn't been, then Vegito Blue would've won handily.
By the ToP, both Vegeta and Goku are a bit stronger. Vegito Blue by default was probably stronger than all of the low and mid tier fighters, including Kefla. GoD Toppo and Jiren probably win, especially if they fight 2v1, but Vegito Blue has a chance.
Midway through the tourney, Vegeta and Goku are signficantly stronger, meaning Vegito is significantly stronger. Maybe 2 or 3 times? Maybe as much as 5? Either way, a Vegito Blue who is 5 times stronger goes from beating most of the fighters to beating ALL except GoD Toppo and Jiren hands down. GoD Toppo is beaten easily, since by this point, I'd say Vegito Blue is anywhere between 5 and 10 times stronger than Evolved Vegeta Blue. He also wins against Jiren's full power.
End of the tourney, with Goku and Vegeta at their strongest, Vegito Blue curbstomps. My thoughts are that, by the end of the tourney, Goku and Vegeta are both significantly stronger than they were at the halfway point, much less the beginning. As a result, Vegito is far stronger, going from a serious contender, to favorite, to winning no contest. Factor in other hypothetical forms, like KK and UI, and it gets even worse.

After analyzing how potara fusion works for goku and vegeta, figure out that after there base powers merge together it multiples by ether 400 to 500 × therefore vegetto's base power would 2 to 2.5 × greater than goku's ssj3 level. Now let's figure out what vegetto's blue multiplier is by analyzing vegeta's blue form with goku's. For vegeta's blue form to rival goku's despite not having a ssj3 form means vegeta's blue form has to have a multiplier 4 × greater than goku's and we all know that his has a 50 × multiplier so vegeta's blue form would have a 200 × multiplier. Now when you put all that together, vegetto blue's power would be 80,000 stronger from his base. And after further analyzing of vegetto's power I figure out that vegetto was around 50 to 60 percent of beerus' full power and using a kaioken ×10 would make him 5 to 6 × stronger than him, including jiren.

Therefore making Ultra Instinct technically using base form. Similar to Kaioken. Therefore if Vegito was in the ToP and somehow achieved this form of UI or maybe even the mastered one (who knows?) Then he would really be in base form and his time limit would go back up to around an hour. They would have done it at the fight with Kefla, and then commence to dragging everyone after that with the exception of God of Destruction Top and Jiren at full power. Those two would have still gone down, no doubt, but it wouldn't have been as one-sided as the others would have been.

IMO.. I think the reason why Goku and Vegeta didn't fuse or want to fuse after given the option is because they knew if they did fuse they would have won to easily and they both knew they wouldn't get another opportunity to understand and master their own potentials. Vegitto and Gogetta would have been overwhelmingly more powerful than UI and Jiren. I honestly don't think UI should be as big as it is because a martial artist on Goku's level should already be able to act and react instinctively anyway. Goku should have already had UI mastered in dragonball when he was training with PoPo. As Goku got faster and more powerful UI should have been more and more noticeable even against someone like Raditz who was much more powerful than he was. PoPo's training was thrown out the window just as fast as Yamcha dies lol. But anyway Gogetta/Vegitto>Ui but UI is equal to or less than Jiren
The only reason why Akira didn't add Vegito Blue is because:
1). Akira already stated he DOES NOT like to add Fusion as it doesn't make the plot interesting if they're always gonna add fusion whenever there's a strong opponent.
2). Fusion ALWAYS symbolizes VICTORY GUARANTEED so Jiren would be no match at all!
3). They wanted to introduce a new form to Goku and Vegeta which explains why you'll see more UI Transformations and Ultra Ego after the ToP in the Manga.

You didn't understand Vados right. She said that the fusion is a multiplier that's tens of times. To break it down : it can be 10x10 or 10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10 . It can basically be 10 on the x-th . It can be anything. It's way over a few thousand times therefore it's clear that Vegito would destroy MUI Goku in terms of raw power. However it's debatable whether he would be able to hit him.

Oh no doubt and vegito's fusion lasted forever back then. I don't think they should have changed that even if the writers wouldn't want it to last forever (for obvious reasons) they could always have just made it where they needed the dragon balls to split them. That would have been the better route to separating vegito and it would have kept the vegito character more dangerous due to him having no time restraints.
