Hey guys! For those wondering why these sprites, it was because there are no Extreme Butoden, or high-res sprites for Gogeta or Jiren. So I had to make it happen with these. I honestly love how you flesh out a character with their dialogue, you're just a fan with only the information provided by the creators and yet you have a deeper understanding than them.
It would definitely get better though,i mean just look at how those directors at Toei handle the series(but still i feel sorry for them due to how rushed the schedule was). Dragon Ball Hero would be the perfect series for Hyourin,it took weeks between episodes,multiple timelines and didn't have too much logic to begin with.

Well, we don’t know if he HATES them. This is kinda similar to the manga in that the Universe 7 fighters use teamwork to win. After Jiren loses to said teamwork, I feel like he’d finally understand his major flaw, just like in the manga.

Now depending on if all of the zenkai boosts and artificial power ups to their bases in the tournament of power were actually there, you COULD make a argument he was still stronger than Second omen Goku. Either way, Broly still gets madstomped by Jiren.

Only for jiren's change in character after being met with an undeniable defeat, to progress gradually as he fought the remnants of universe 7. Here though, it's literally JUST the fusion that takes on jiren, back to back, and even then does NOT undeniably defeat him, as their own person: rather than it being a lone fighter initially defeating him (which jiren resonates with on a basic level), with that person being empowered and strengthened by others that support him: it's the proof that it's ONLY through teamwork, that anyone was able to defeat him. Thus further solidifying the mindset of "cheating" and "true strength" that jiren will continue to uphold.
My favorite thing about this whole battle is the fact that Gogeta despite being his own person still respected what Goku and Vegeta would've wanted despite the fact that there was not obligation to do so it's just so wholesome to me

It was never confirmed that power causes Fusions to defuse, except in GT, in Z it was just an assumption, just like the assumption that Buu's body caused Vegito to defuse, if it wasn't confirmed it's not inconsistent. Super has given us an official explanation as to why Vegito defused, and I personally believe the reason Gotenks defused earlier than he should've wasn't because of power, but because of how unstable Super Saiyan 3 is, and since Super Saiyan Blue isn't an unstable form in the Anime, it didn't shorten the Fusion. And to be honest, all of that was for the best, do you really want to watch Gogeta for a mere five minutes, if not less? No, of course not.

The show told us this and yet we see Gogeta staying fused for 30 minutes no matter what in the Broly movie which continues from that show. What changed other than a change in logic? And before you say it's different fusions so it works differently doesnt it seem weird the fusion that was susceptible to powering down over time and had a time limit is NOW the fusion that is far more stable, and lasts a lot longer than the one we were led to believe was permanent?And no, Potara fusion was permanent before in Z, Old Kai did not lie to Goku. It is strongly implied in the manga and anime that Vegito defused because the barrier they had went off. They split the moment they turned it off as well you cant tell me it had nothing to do with Buus body. The barrier is even focused on with the camera before the split occurs. The lack of a barrier is the reason Buus body split their form. So it was a retcon of a retcon, Super changes the rules to serve its shitty writing and I'm sorry but shitty is just what it is. That's inconsistent and no argument you can come up with disproves it. These are just facts.

The Elder Kai might not have lied, but he could've been wrong, in fact Super outright says he was wrong. D. It's not a retcon.

I find that to be wierd logic. Jiren lost the ToP to a team assault. It ended with him respecting Goku, although maybe the difference here is that whereas in the original, MUI Goku primarily fought and wore Jiren down, here it WAS the fusion that did all that.
In the anime Jiren fought at full power against MUI Goku, where they essentially tested each other's ideologies. He respected Goku because despite being two different views, it was still one-on-one. Here, Jiren viewed it as cheating from the start

@Eli Appiah You appear to be confused. Of course pre-ToP Goku and Vegeta would be weaker. However, I'm talking about 4 different fusions here. You're aware of Gogeta Blue and Vegito Blue. Gogeta 4 is Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, from Dragon Ball GT. Vegito Xeno 4 is Super Saiyan 4 Vegito from the Dragon Ball Heroes stuff.
@Eli Appiah I thought it was basically stated during the Broly movie release that Potara = Dance. (Or dance is a bit stronger while potara is longer). I forgot what exactly but it basically shut down the whole Potara > Dance debate. So it should and would make an interesting battle.
Considering that he's including Super Dragon Ball Heroes, it's safebto assume that they're all connected in their own way of being alternate timelines.
The credits show a scene setting up the next fight, which will be between Xeno Vegito and the Gogeta we just saw. Involving the Time Patrollers basically confirms they're all kind of connected lol
It's a hard matchup because we don't know what Gogeta's full capabilities are and we don't know his limits yet. If yall remember, he bodied an overpowered Broly like it was nothing.
To those of you who are wondering how they can fly in the tournament of power, we can just safely assume that they used air blasts to propel them selves like android 17 did except without ki. And only levels at Gojira and Jiren’s power level can do so.
I know right? Vegeta and Goku were barely able to hit Jiren, let alone push him off. That 400x thing shouldn’t be possible either. A person’s strength is limited to the abilities of the one they are fusing with. It’s why Vegito couldn’t go SS3. Then again, Gotenks can so I don’t know. The rules are just kind of muddied. Also, almost every time a decision happens, they pop apart as if at random and stop what they are doing, yet here they didn’t.
@@ryanb.7751 keep in mind Vegito in his BASE is stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks by leagues, and then add ontop a Super Saiyan You can start to see the difference
Melancholic Thinker I mean, that’s an assumption because the two never actually fight and Buu never uses any modifiers such as supersaiyan, although I do think you are correct. Simply because Gotenks appeared to put in more effort fighting Buu before he was absorbed while Vegito tossed him around without effort at all. However, that still doesn’t explain how Gotenks is able to go Super Saiyan 3 as most sources say the powers build on each other not gaining new abilities, just building off each other. My point is just that even though fusion is incredibly strong, it also seems incredibly inconsistent.

What I love about this is its using the logic Super decided to stick with at the end of the series. The fact the regular red God form is more energy efficient than Blue, when before the TOP arc we were told that the blue form was the ultimate form for ki control, meaning it was the most energy efficient form by far. Good for you to work with the limited logic of power scaling the show gives you and making it work as best it can. Hopefully the show doesnt retcon itself, again, when it comes back. You're the only guy who makes logical sense with power scaling in Dragon Ball, and I love your videos even more for it.
Well, Blue isn't able to be maintained forever for one reason: Blue was a result of combining SSGod with Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan is a strain on the body, so it makes sense that the strain is there in SSBlue as well since it's the Super Saiyan power at it's core. The normal god form isn't as strained on the body since all he has to do is contain his ki in his base form to make it work (at least as far as we know, there's probably more to it than that that we don't know). I always assumed that keeping ki contained in the body if you're not a full god is dangerous to the body (I doubt the body can handle energy that's supposed to be expelled to be contained instead), but that's just my own headcanon.

First they make it sound like the Blue form is the most efficient and powerful form due to the mastery of God ki. It's how Goku and Vegeta even attain the form, they keep their ki within the limits of their body for efficient use. I mean it doesnt make sense since this is how they mastered Super saiyan but I'll let it slide since this is a different type of ki they're using. However this went away later on and they instead brought back the Red form we previously thought was just "a part" of Gokus base form since Beerus said "he absorbed the energy inside his body" but whatever I guess it's a form now? So now Red God Goku is the most energy efficient form and Blue Goku is the stress heavy form for some reason or another. No explanations given we just accept this contradictive info. If they had just kept it consistent like they did for Z this would have been much easier for us to follow.
@@stormcutter59 Okay. I think something is messed up with your understanding here of the forms, so let me clear it up. It actually is fairly consistent in Super. First: Yes, SSBlue is the most efficient and powerful form (and the top god power they have currently if you don't count Ultra Instinct and Blue Evolution), but it takes the most stamina and power to maintain while SSGod takes less stamina than SSBlue, but it's weaker (but it takes more stamina than normal Super Saiyan forms, but is more powerful than them). Transformations usually follow one simple logic: Higher level transformations require more stamina and power to maintain, but they're much stronger. Super goes by that logic too. Each level upward is more powerful but causes more strain. As for the Beerus comment, it wasn't that Goku got the god form in his base form, it was that his base form got a powerup from the god power and he became stronger. He didn't gain anything else other than a simple power increase from the god power. I don't wanna overcomplicate it, so I'll explain it like this: Goku went SSGod, and his body adapted to being able to handle that power and his base form got stronger as a result. He isn't god in base or something, if he were, then he'd be SSGod all the time.

It was never confirmed that power causes Fusions to defuse, except in GT, in Z it was just an assumption, just like the assumption that Buu's body caused Vegito to defuse, if it wasn't confirmed it's not inconsistent. Super has given us an official explanation as to why Vegito defused, and I personally believe the reason Gotenks defused earlier than he should've wasn't because of power, but because of how unstable Super Saiyan 3 is, and since Super Saiyan Blue isn't an unstable form in the Anime, it didn't shorten the Fusion. And to be honest, all of that was for the best, do you really want to watch Gogeta for a mere five minutes, if not less? No, of course not.

It is strongly implied in the manga and anime that Vegito defused because the barrier they had went off. They split the moment they turned it off as well you cant tell me it had nothing to do with Buus body. That's ridiculous the language of the scene in all mediums totally illustrates this to us, even Goku and Vegeta imply it a bit afterwards. The barrier is even focused on with the camera before the split occurs. The lack of a barrier is the reason Buus body split their form.
So it was a retcon of a retcon, Super changes the rules to serve its shitty writing and I'm sorry but shitty is just what it is. That's inconsistent and no argument you can come up with disproves it. These are just facts.

I find that to be wierd logic. Jiren lost the ToP to a team assault. It ended with him respecting Goku, although maybe the difference here is that whereas in the original, MUI Goku primarily fought and wore Jiren down, here it WAS the fusion that did all that.

You're aware of Gogeta Blue and Vegito Blue. Gogeta 4 is Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, from Dragon Ball GT. Vegito Xeno 4 is Super Saiyan 4 Vegito from the Dragon Ball Heroes stuff.

I know right? Vegeta and Goku were barely able to hit Jiren, let alone push him off. That 400x thing shouldn’t be possible either. A person’s strength is limited to the abilities of the one they are fusing with. It’s why Vegito couldn’t go SS3. Then again, Gotenks can so I don’t know. The rules are just kind of muddied. Also, almost every time a decision happens, they pop apart as if at random and stop what they are doing, yet here they didn’t.

Simply because Gotenks appeared to put in more effort fighting Buu before he was absorbed while Vegito tossed him around without effort at all. However, that still doesn’t explain how Gotenks is able to go Super Saiyan 3 as most sources say the powers build on each other not gaining new abilities, just building off each other. My point is just that even though fusion is incredibly strong, it also seems incredibly inconsistent.

What I love about this is its using the logic Super decided to stick with at the end of the series. The fact the regular red God form is more energy efficient than Blue, when before the TOP arc we were told that the blue form was the ultimate form for ki control, meaning it was the most energy efficient form by far. Good for you to work with the limited logic of power scaling the show gives you and making it work as best it can. Hopefully the show doesnt retcon itself, again, when it comes back. You're the only guy who makes logical sense with power scaling in Dragon Ball, and I love your videos even more for it.
Well, Blue isn't able to be maintained forever for one reason: Blue was a result of combining SSGod with Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan is a strain on the body, so it makes sense that the strain is there in SSBlue as well since it's the Super Saiyan power at it's core. The normal god form isn't as strained on the body since all he has to do is contain his ki in his base form to make it work (at least as far as we know, there's probably more to it than that that we don't know). I always assumed that keeping ki contained in the body if you're not a full god is dangerous to the body (I doubt the body can handle energy that's supposed to be expelled to be contained instead), but that's just my own headcanon.

First they make it sound like the Blue form is the most efficient and powerful form due to the mastery of God ki. It's how Goku and Vegeta even attain the form, they keep their ki within the limits of their body for efficient use. I mean it doesnt make sense since this is how they mastered Super saiyan but I'll let it slide since this is a different type of ki they're using. However this went away later on and they instead brought back the Red form we previously thought was just "a part" of Gokus base form since Beerus said "he absorbed the energy inside his body" but whatever I guess it's a form now? So now Red God Goku is the most energy efficient form and Blue Goku is the stress heavy form for some reason or another. No explanations given we just accept this contradictive info. If they had just kept it consistent like they did for Z this would have been much easier for us to follow.
@@stormcutter59 Okay. I think something is messed up with your understanding here of the forms, so let me clear it up. It actually is fairly consistent in Super. First: Yes, SSBlue is the most efficient and powerful form (and the top god power they have currently if you don't count Ultra Instinct and Blue Evolution), but it takes the most stamina and power to maintain while SSGod takes less stamina than SSBlue, but it's weaker (but it takes more stamina than normal Super Saiyan forms, but is more powerful than them). Transformations usually follow one simple logic: Higher level transformations require more stamina and power to maintain, but they're much stronger. Super goes by that logic too. Each level upward is more powerful but causes more strain.
As for the Beerus comment, it wasn't that Goku got the god form in his base form, it was that his base form got a powerup from the god power and he became stronger. He didn't gain anything else other than a simple power increase from the god power. I don't wanna overcomplicate it, so I'll explain it like this: Goku went SSGod, and his body adapted to being able to handle that power and his base form got stronger as a result. He isn't god in base or something, if he were, then he'd be SSGod all the time.

I loved how you fused Jiren's Manga Character (He was like "Fuck you all", and had no development like anime Jiren about teamwork and friendship), and Goku and Vegeta Anime Skills… That's a beautiful Mash Up
Maybe manga Jiren had no development, but he had actual reasons to fight and not to fight, like his wish to revive his master and not being part of basically a multiversal slaughter.
