Edit: For people who are confused, this frieza does not know about MUI or Ultra Ego. I decided to put it in as a representation since the two are the latest forms in the anime and manga. That's why frieza stated that if the saiyan's won't ever stop fighting then who knows what transformation they'll end up having in the end. That's all thank you!

Not difficult to figure out that he associated the crying with the bad things that happened to him back then.

HE WAS A BABY how could he have even been able to assocate that the noise he was hearing with ANYTHING let let alone the specific baby that was crying lol? 2. as an adult he would obviously know that goku had nothing to do with that. 3. Why would he not associate that with VEGETA of all people. I genuinely dont get how and why people try to make Broly seem like a deeper character than he actually is. Hes screaming chimp.
@@trippersigs2248 Well, for one, trauma can have an impact on children at a very young age, and stories can afford a break from realism.
As for 2 and 3, Broly himself is legitimately insane, so even if he's smarter he likely doesn't have the support, the means or the want to deal with those issues in a rational way. As far as he is concerned, he has a visceral hatred for Kakarot, and he deals with it the only way he knows how - by destroying the source of his anger.

Broly is truly terrifying. In my line of work, I often encounter those with intense psychosis, crippling OCD, sadists, and complete disregard for human life. Add those qualities to an alien from a barbaric warrior race with a power level that just keeps increasing and you have an unstoppable nightmare!

Okay, some notes:
-the overall choreography was pretty good.
-the visual effects were quite excellent.
-I love that you wrote Broli more like his original self, as opposed to the Kakarot-screaming moron he's always made out to be.
-the ending was both unexpected, and very cool.
-however, I don't like how much Broli was struggling here. With how he utterly humiliated Gohan in M10, he should have no trouble with Cell, and ESPECIALLY not Freeza.
Overall, though, very good!

A lot of peoples still don’t understand Brolys trauma, at the hands of Goku, King Vegeta, and even his own father. Let alone how that trauma affects and amplifies his power. But this is very much in the spirit of his original portrayal and does a good job portraying that in the end with his Ssj3 transformation.
Broly is driven by his trauma, but also completely owns it; knowingly or not he has endured more emotional damage than any other character in the series, and it drives his anger and hatred deeper than any other Sayain.
What truama did Goku put on him? Hell even in the case of King Vegeta Broly was a few days old so its not like he would have remebered the attempt at murder. People will do anything to defend the stupidied character in all of DBZ JUST because he looks cool and is strong.
@@trippersigs2248 I don’t even like say sayains, Im just saying it like it was portrayed and expressed in the film. Broly clearly remembers what happened when he was a baby otherwise Goku wouldn’t trigger him at all. Sayains are not as dumb or incapable as human babies they mature and develop at a much faster rate, which is why they send babies to other worlds to take them over.

@@trippersigs2248 Well, from how the movie hints at it, it looks like Broly suffers from PTSD. As a baby, he’s going to think “why was I stabbed and not him? He’s making the noise.” He blames all the events on to Goku. The cries reply in his head over and over, and Paragus wasn’t giving Broly the help he needed to deal with it, and instead tried to enslave his own son. When he finally meets Goku, he finally snaps and basically becomes insane due to his own power and all of what’s been going on.

I love how they correctly made Broly an unstopable monster. Every second in battle, he grows STRONGER, and it took 3 SSJ2 using the same attack at full power to just hurt him!!!
This was f*cking amazing, this the true broly from the first movie. The moment he sees Goku and it triggers a memory of the crying that Goku did as a baby. He lost his sh*t and powered up the special effect for that was so damn cool it really showcase how powerful and deadly broly truly is
Absolutely incredible work. Love how you handled Broly, a lot of people here who call Broly's backstory and character lazy don't understand how trauma, PTSD, and horrible living conditions work. The way Broly handles his is entirely unique, as instead of being scared or meek in face of it, he tackles it head-on with rage and strength, and I believe you encapsulated that perfectly. Hope you do more works with Broly.

Amazing animation! The choreography was awesome and the plot was cool as well.
It also seems like Frieza, at least, trained, given how quickly he is able to access his full power form. Makes sense that he is more relevant in this fight than he would be with his Namek power level

Frieza from Namek saga is only a large planet. Super Perfect Cell is solar level, but Broly from first film is weaker than Super Perfect Cell, and Broly dont destroy galaxies, he only destroy all PLANETS in galaxy within.

Not in one shot.The only villain in Z who can really destroy galaxies in was Buu. Broly from first movie can't be galaxy buster, just because Goku defeats him, but later in Cell games the same Goku exclames that he can't defeats Cell, who at this point not even Super perfect. And super perfect Cell is solar level.

It's interesting. The power scaling here doesn't really matter too much unless specifically stated, but Z-Broly is treated differently in every media. In the first movie, he seems to have an energy limit before he explodes it all outword. In the second he's treated as is he actually has no limit.

The otherworld tournament seems to have happened in this timeline too, given PIkkon was their. The Ginyu Force had Goku turn into "Super Saiyan Power" (the black haired form with yellow aura, it's an actual form in DBH). Makes you wonder if the power gap between the Cell and Frieza are the same, or if they just havent increased in power at all in this timeline.
Again it doesn't really matter, but it's interesting to think about.
I'm pretty sure Frieza wasn't literally seeing their forms in the other timeline, but Rayn just decided to add them in said forms to go along with the dialogue.

Frieza knows full well that Saiyans grow stronger the longer they live and fight. He’s also seen first hand how quickly they evolve while fighting due to seeing Vegeta and Gohan’s zenkai boosts on Namek and finally with Goku achieving Super Saiyan during their fight.
I’m pretty sure when Frieza said his line he wasn’t seeing MUI or UE, that was just for the viewers since as of current, that’s the absolute peak of Goku and Vegeta’s power

Awesome video. One part I would change is when Frieza mentions how strong Goku abs vegeta could get and you showed there gif forms. But the Z movies connect into GT so realistically you should have shown them both in SS4. But still awesome animation

While alive, Brolys power will stop increasing eventualy as no body could take that, legendary or not (he said it in the first movie, it was "overflowing"). In that case, Cell alone would defeat him.
However, Broly is dead here. He doesn't have to care about pain and destroying his own body, which allows his power to never stop growing.

Ehhh, I don’t think Cell would have beaten him. As stated by Takao Koyama, Chief Writer of DBZ and all of the Z Movies (I don’t think he did BoG and RoF though), Broly is the strongest Z character in the TV anime. So that means Broly is stronger than Goku, Kid Buu, Buuhan, Cell, Frieza, and ALL of the movie villains.
Edit: Koyama even stated that Goku won LITERALLY due to plot armor because he couldn’t think of a possible way that Goku would win in “Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan” and “Broly: Second Coming”.

Actually you're wrong.
If Broly was still alive his power would've still kept growing, it was stated by Vegeta that the LSSJ's power 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 stop growing and rampaging until their power eventually self implode and kill them because of it. So theoretically speaking characters like Broly and Kale are ticking time bombs if they were to ever hit a certain level of power.
I agree cell would beat Broly but it is debatable, brolys ever growing power is an issue but cell would probably be smart enough (assuming Broly hasn't grown enough to stomp or pumble cell then cell gets dumb and his Frieza kicks in) to assume Brolys power is increasing but it might be imploding him like the super trunks form in a way. But in hell even if cell and Frieza lightly trained or heavily Broly won't die and will just adapt which is a scary thought. Imagine cell having Brolys cells 🤔
