I can relate to being unhappy and discontent with circumstances.
I have found in my own life that when I removed all the things that I have used to make my crappy situation tolerable, it became intolerable. Which is exactly what it needs to be to motivate change.
I abandoned everything. Junk food, music, entertainment, porn, alcohol.
Once I did that I was left with a crappy life and had no choice but to fill it with substance.

I would mention a word of caution. Don’t get hyped up about changing your life watching tons of self help videos and hit the gym and do a solid morning routine and begin to judge your friend after a week and a half. Prove to yourself that it isn’t motivation driving you and it’s an actual change in your being, then bring who you can along for the ride.

100% agree and sometimes striving for success results in judgement of others.
I think it’s ok to be disgusted with meekness in others. You just gotta flip it around as soon as you’re able. Realize you’re not actually disgusted with them. You’re just disgusted with that attribute in yourself. That’s why you’re moving away from it.
Its an unfortunate but useful step in pain style motivatio. A good amount of of ppl might think your a dick. But if you meditate or some other form of self exploration, you’ll eventually temper that side-effect and you’ll be further ahead from leveraging it.
Hopefully in the end you circle back on the fact it was always a collaboraton. The people that didn’t want to soar were just sign posts telling you where not to go. They are a gift and the best you can do is be compassionate- it just isn’t their time to fly yet.

That part about watching sports resonated with me greatly. As a guy (who participates in a lot of high risk sports) I could never sit and watch a game, at a bar, at friends at home, and feel like I achieved what that team did if they won.

Letting go of those friends is really hard. We make excuses for them, try to help them get to where we are but like bedros said they aren't ready. So there's this weird in-between of doing your own thing and still hanging on to them. There's also fear of being alone, having no friends and the struggle to find like minded people. It's hard but once it's done, it's a relief.

I’m from Russia and your message resonates with me just as much as it resonates with people from all over world. It gets a bit weird when you make reference to American politicians but these are easy to extrapolate on a worldwide scale. I thank you from all my heart for inspiring and sharing the energy 👍
Peace and prosperity to all of you people ❤

The thing Bedros said about being grateful when waking up in the morning is soo true. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) instructed us to do the same, every morning right after waking up we are instructed to say this prayer:
    اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ.
Alhamdu lillahil-lathee ahyana baAAda ma amatana wa-ilayhin-nushoor.
(All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.)
    Al-Bukhari 11:113, Muslim 4:2083

You have the same fire in your belly that I have had all my life. Sadly what held me back was people pleasing. I’m 44 now and I’ve spent the last 10 years working on letting people go and finding myself. I also had a stroke from doing too much for others. I am now recovered from the stroke and the mental struggle of that recovery changed my outlook completely. Now I’ve dropped the people pleasing and have taken my life back. Already 20lbs down and am retraining to work for myself and set up a business. Everyone else can GTF. Many left me when I was no longer able to serve them due to disability last year. 🤬This is MY life now!
