Do y’all agree? Is financial success by itself really not success if you don’t have the health, mindset, relationship and emotional hygiene?

Faith in yourself above all else I believe is the most important thing in order to achieve growth in all categories of life. Without your own inner growth and substantial constant learning mindset, everything around yourself will either degrade or maintain, possibly leaning closer to unhappiness. Great video Bedros!

Great one Brother B. One thing though. Can we eliminate the phrase “Date Night”. I cringe hearing it. It has unappealing connotations of no eye contact missionary or a toothy BJ.

@@MayhemProspecting I agree with both. We must have to first fully know ourselves and have 100% faith in yourself and whatever it is religion that you choose. While having that I believe that’s where the mindset, relationship and emotion hygiene success come into play. We all have different beliefs of success. We all have different ways of obtaining success. Just make sure as a man/young man you do what you need to do to get there. I’m slowly working on my faith and mindset now. Discipline plays a huge role in any type of roosts of success, that’s definitely a main key that im working on as a young man as well. Take it back the past video about “crop dusters and fighter jets” I know I’m a fighter jet, just gotta get out of the crop dust trap.

Thank you. I needed this reminder. I'm 39 y/o next month and because of the lockdown I had to go back to entry level retail work (don't live in an area with a strong economy/jobs) And prior to lockdown I was doing healthy cooking demos for a large medical provider. Making triple digits per 1 hour class. Now I'm working over a 100 hours a month where I'm grinding physically but making less than I was with my cooking demos, 13-15 hours a month (had time to work a second job too) 2 1/2 years later I've yet to figure out how to get over that shift in work and finances. Plus the cooking demos gave me purpose, helping others with their health. Now I just grind it out for a large corporation that don't give an eff about me. Cleaning up after disrespectful humans/shoppers. BUT at 39, I'm healthy and in the best shape of my life. A solid immune system and a strong/unique portfolio. You can't buy health. You can't buy potential. You can't buy the lessons you learn in the struggle. So I remain grateful for what I do have and learned, while working on my own business and I know 100% that the money will come again.

Yeah brother, listen man, so many people are thinking they have to build a business or achieve some god like level of physique, or need to be everything social media is showing you.
But it’s far from the truth.
You can work hard at your job, grow and be best you can, and be smart with your money, and like he said. Use that money to take care of you in the future. You don’t have to be a milionIre or build a 9 figure business. No. Maybe you buy a couple properties and rent them out, you know. It can be something small.
      And for sure you health.
Like he said. Workout where you can feel respect for yourself. Do it for the discipline. Do it for the mental fortitude.
As long as you know you can perform if a need would arise it’s a respectable trait in my book man.
Eat healthier, run, lift, and maybe even train in BJJ. No FOR SURE! Train BJJ.
The reason for this is self respect.

    • @alexandercruz4766
      @alexandercruz4766 2 года назад +40

Most of the problems is men try to impress women. Most women these days are Garbage. They want a lifestyle and want what social media portrays. They all think they are 100/10. And so most men feel this pressure and it’s often not even a desire to work hard for the right reasons. It’s to keep that women happy. Leave that women asap. Get you a women who respects you for who you are. The money and body is icing On top.
If her respect is based on anything… it means it can be lost if you ever fall short.
Love and respect should be unconditional. Something most women know nothing about. Same for a man, should love unconditional.
Do the things because the men around are sharpening you and encouraging you be your best self. Discover what that version is for you and work on it daily.
      Forget about the girls.
Your growth is for you not for everyone else.
The person you want to respect you is the man in the mirror.
Once you have that others will begin to respect you as a by product. You don’t need their respect you don’t need their praise or approval but you know that you are on the path because this is feedback.
      Haters will also be feedback.
Anyways, do you my King. Embrace the hard. I’m telling you, almost everything we do is for girls. We’re so sexually driven it’s insane.
But if you can control your urges. Discipline yourself and let your purpose be your driving factor. Let your calling and Vision be what wakes you up. Not a desire to have game with women….
If they come or not, who cares… bro, I’ve heard so many stories of divorced men who wasted years of their life…
They never did what they wanted to do. They focused on a woman.
Your purpose comes first. The wife comes second. And the kids come third.
And really God comes first. He should be who we consult with every morning. I’m not saying go to church, or be religious. Im saying, learn to recognize that there is a higher power… this is a diferent level of maturity.
A simple thing as a man kneeling when he awakes and when he retires Can change your life. Asking God for direction… He will Guide you…
THERES a movement of an awakening of manhood and I couldn’t be more excited to be amongst all of you in such a time as this

Bedros...Just found the BK show and am loving the content. I'm 46 and have been working on my personal development for the last 5 years after realizing that I've wasted the first half of my life letting fear keep me from taking risks. I've started taking control of my life by going after building the life I want. I've changed my mindset through books, courses, gratitude, etc. I recently started a fitness program and have been consistent in working out and nutrition (down 12 lbs and building muscle). I've been a single dad for the last 14 years and feel I've been successful in raising a great young man. The next area that I feel needs attention is my finances/wealth. I'm solid on living beneath my means and I'm a hard worker (1 FT job and 2 side hustles), but I'm not close to being anywhere near where I want to be financially. Some of the financial challenges I face are being a single dad and jobs in my current location. I make a median wage for rural Wisconsin, have a small home, am able to put some money towards retirement, etc... I'm surviving, but not thriving. I'm maxed out at the salary I'm at in my current position and have told my GM that I want to move to sales since that is the only option for increased income. I've tried doing my own businesses over the years but nothing that became overly successful. I feel like I'm always looking for opportunities, but also feel like I'm spinning my wheels. I have thought about getting into rentals, but honestly don't have the money currently for the downpayment (20% in Wisconsin). I would love to find a life coach, but can't afford to pay for that right now without taking from retirement. I'm on the path, but just feel like I don't know what direction to take next. If you have any recommendations for books or resources that might help, I'd be eternally grateful! Loving the content of the show...keep it coming!

find your soul within, externalize what is within you. each and every person has a purpose, yet many are not able to fulfill thier purpose because they are not authentic true self. the riches of the world are accumulated by product of evil greed OR fulfilling purpose in love. become yourself, authenticity cannot be bought

"1 more rep, 1 more day, 1 more sore muscle, 1 more protein shake, 1 more work out, 1 new workout partner". Very few people are about to allow their mind to make their bodies do above and beyond what it WANTS to do. This all leaks into every aspect of life like relationships, parental responsibilities, businesses, sales, negotiations. I believe that sports and the weight room made me the man that I am today.

I’d guess 9 out of 10 people, when asked what success is, will respond first or think first about money.
I don’t have much money, in fact, at the moment I’m unemployed, but I wouldn’t trade the ability to read and work on my mind and habits for any amount of money.
Deciding to dig into personal development over 10 years ago has made me successful, and the fact that it’s something I can do for the rest of my life means it’ll always pay dividends.
I don’t understand how people DON’T dismantle their thinking and their habits to refine them. I’m an introvert so this comes naturally, but if you’re making the money, why not start to build other parts of your life and being?

Then got married and went to school and got a great job where I was making a lot money. Unfortunately that job pulled me out of my family life. I gained tons of weight and I was always traveling. I did that for 14 years. At that point my family was falling apart. I was never home and when I was home my mind was somewhere else. Fortunately life threw a curve ball at me and I lost my job. It needed to happen. I found a job after that happened where I had to be in shape in order to succeed. I lost 70 pounds in less than a year and I didn't have to travel. Even though money was less i found my self happier and closer to my family. This happened 7 years ago and I feel better than ever. I fought thru sweat, blood, and tears for her, you can't even imagine. I wanted to give up and say "i'm burnt out" so many times. I sacrificed our time together and after 7 years together she ended up cheating on me with a minimum wage employee, who she said "at least makes her happy". That chapter of my life is over with and I'm not doing that for any woman ever again. I maintained our finances so I know her income is not enough for her to survive on with her debt. I could take comfort in knowing that she might end up homeless but I don't because I actually loved this woman.

It’s easy to get stuck in fear/ helpless mentality and having regret not making changes sooner in life. Gone to some pretty dark places mentally and need to push through the BS thoughts. It’s hard sometimes though to not give into fear

    • @canttakeanymore
      @canttakeanymore Год назад +2

It's hard, but you can learn to do it, and it's worth it, man. It is just like working out, you let go of the fear a little bit every day. You focus on it, and every day it gets a little better--like almost everything you change in your life. It is the day to day effort like one piece of paper laid on top of another day after day--it adds up. After you do that for a while, you'll see it adding up, and you'll realize you understand that fear is wasted energy.
A better way of saying it is that fear is wasted energy unless you are actually in danger (and that can mean in a stressful situation where you may not actually be in danger...), but sound judgement coupled with the discipline of not losing your shit, in those situations you focus the energy the fear brings,. Fear is good under duress. Otherwise, you should always be in control of yourself, even if other people aren't sure about that. ;-)
Anyway, you'll handle it, man. Miyamoto Mushashi said (I'm paraphrasing, but the intent is accurate) -- once you see your way, as a warrior, as a poet, as a whatever, you also see there is only one way, and you can't unsee it. Once you lay those pieces of paper on top of each other, you see there is no fear, only the way you have chosen. You'll do it. Focus on it, and give it time, and the fear will fade before you even notice.

Making just enough to stay miserable is one of the problems. I believe health and true financial freedom are two key parts of happiness.
    Great video!

This video was amazing. As a coach I’ve seen many of these in-balances. Before noticing it on others I had to first notice for my own life. I can tell that you are speaking from experience as well. Success is truly backwards in todays society. Which is why depression is so high. This video forces us All to take inventory then ACTION ‼️ Thank you for dropping this gem 💎

Hi man. Fascinating. Fitness made me jacked and both mentally and emotionally strong. But still figuring out the money part and what to do with all that work ethic because all corporate jobs bored me so quick until now. Being happy but almost broke sounds better than rich and unhappy, but I definitely can feel that something important is missing to kick ass in life.

I have recently experienced this in life, where im transitioning my view of what success looks like to be a happy and healthy life with strong and loyal relationships Instead of the materialistic items that society defines as a status of success. I am learning to find balance in life slowly but surely learning ways to allow myself to be happy and spend time with those who matter most without always worrying about tomorrow or yesterday but to live in the present. My mind constantly races with adhd and that affects my listening ability which im working on as well.

Success is the completion of goals that give you that extra factor goodness that comes from confidence. Take it from someone who was 350 lbs down to 185 thin but no goals , I set a goal to train for a 10k trail run and the tactical games next year. Have started a very strict training and good regiment and I am in the best shape I have been since HS wrestling. My business is the best it’s ever been, my confidence is sky high and my mental health and sleep is the best it’s ever been! Your episode is spot on! This is the damn truth

This is going to sound strange. I found peace just sitting in my garage and watching my dogs play but mostimportantlyi have peace in my mind even after all ive been through in my coming up 40th birthday . I've started my own business last year in August working for myself until I can hire someone. I make good money but I am not rich. It simply means I can pay my bills and plus. I think people needs to learn to find peace and comfort in their mind . A lot of people are living, thinking chaos crap not accomplishing their goals or dreams. So now a business owner which I forget that I am because I enjoy what I do. I would like to get into Real estate to use money like a tool it was intended to be use for and helping others along the way. Great video sir

Jim Rohn talks about caring about your physical appearance because that’s what people judge you off of right away.
I believe when you’re physically fit, eat right, drink right, stay healthy and strong, you stay ready for the unexpected when it comes to anything in life as much as you can stay ready for.
If not for you, for those around you.
Physical is only one aspect to be successful in but it enables success in the other aspects as well. So necessary

Same here, my friend. Putting that work every single day, no excuses. Got a wonderful woman and 2 amazing sons, jacked as fuck, and thought that only by having a lot of money could I be finally happy. How crazy does that sound? I pretty much have everything but money. How many guys only wish they could be in this kind of situation even without the money. Still, everyday grinding because I know my time will come. May take longer than others, but everyone has their own time.
Hope you find even more success.
      Greetings from Brazil.

Money can’t buy happiness. Money can’t get you jacked. Money can’t improve your mindset. Money is a gateway to a better life, but you still have to put in the work. Never stop improving

Correct! And money can buy security, money can pay your bills, money can help your church, money can give you better experiences and memories with your family, money can pay for medical bills and money does solve the problem of not having money and that’s a really good problem to solve.
