@@MaadAzzGang Variety sat down with Judith Hoag to get the skinny on exactly what happened on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that led to her not being invited back for the sequel. The actress revealed to the trade that she was never even approached about the idea of reprising her role from the first movie, and she blames it on her own personal complaining - particularly about the six-day schedule and the amount of violence in the movie. Said Hoag.

First movie was a 90s masterpiece
I'll be 41 in a few months (looks like your post was last year so both born '81?). I saw TMNT at the drive-in when I was 9 years old. I remember how stoked out of my mind I was when I saw the first trailer while my sister and I were writing our own fan script.
What a beautiful woman. Then and now.
Haven't seen her since this movie, I watch the trilogy at least once a year but wow 30 years later and this lady is still stunning! Lucky man who ever she's with.

Christian Hafer I don’t know, I was just never really into it. I mean, I watched part of the 2012 series when I was really young, but only when it was on and I didn’t think about what was actually going on. It really took Quarantine for me to be like, “Oh, let me check this out.”

The turtles were done so well in this particular movie that I keep imagining that Judith actually interacted with them as individuals between takes and off set.
I forget that they were just costumes with fake heads and voices being added later...

She was supposed to be in _Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows_ but her cameo ended up being cut and was instead an extra on the DVD/Blu-Ray. Megan Fox’s April met up with a character named Rita (played by Hoag) in said deleted scene.

I was 9 years old when the movie hit theaters and I had a major crush too. Crushes are pretty innocent at that age, but to an extent it just sticks with you forever I guess!

Judith Hoag was such a natural, even in the early stage in her career! I only ever saw her in this movie (not sure if she did many more?) but her part in this movie is worth a hundred parts by any other actress, and really made a lasting impression 😊

The editor for the first turtles movie wasn't paying much attention. They showed 2 of the turtles going through their loss of splinter and ralph being knocked unconscious but for some reason they edited out Michaelangelos scene but still added him in screaming "Splinter" from what looks like a hill and to top it off its ralphaels voice yelling "splinter". I didn't pay much mind to this as a kid but as an adult it literally doesn't make any sense. Also I think they cut Michaelangelos strife moment because he was supposed to be the funny character in this somewhat dark children's movie. Still the best turtles movie yet. The others in the series continued to get goofy and lost the tone of the first movie which makes the first movie a all-time cult classic
This movie deserves a 30th anniversary edition blu-ray with deleted scenes & extras.
